"Spinoza Café and Restaurant This very attractive sidewalk café in the Jewish district is a popular destination for dining as well as for relaxing during the day. The venue includes both an art gallery and theater, where events take place from September to May, along with a restaurant and coffee house. The food is an unusual and tastebud-tingling hybrid of Hungarian and Mediterranean – and the signature chicken with honey and garlic or the roast goose leg with steamed red cabbage is not to be missed. Nice atmosphere. Beautifully decorated. Pleasant service. We stopped only for a beer and enjoyed the atmosphere Very much. We planned on coming back for dinner later. Unfortunately we couldn't due to time pressure. Looks charming 😀

We had shakshuka and hortobágyi palacsinta, both very good. The place is beautifully decorated and a pianist was playing, so the ambiance was amazing at night. Not the cheapest place but the prices are quite fair considering the quality and amount of food. The staff was very helpful and spoke perfect english, as everyone in the city

We like to come back here when we're in Budapest because the food is good, the waiters are kind and polite and the prices are ok. The place has a homey feel and there was also live music (friday evening)- piano. Nothing fancy but a hearty meal in the nice neighbourhood. Try their lemonades, so good! We ate paprikash, goulash, chicken soup, goose fillet with potatoes and shared a flodni cake. We recommend this place! Special thanks to the male waiter who worked friday around 7pm, he was very proffesional and kind.

Lovely place, very busy but was lucky enough to get the last table! Food was amazing and their was a pianist and violinist playing which added to the overall atmosphere. Great service, lovely food - what's not to like! I would definitely visit again
