"Spinoza Café and Restaurant This very attractive sidewalk café in the Jewish district is a popular destination for dining as well as for relaxing during the day. The venue includes both an art gallery and theater, where events take place from September to May, along with a restaurant and coffee house. The food is an unusual and tastebud-tingling hybrid of Hungarian and Mediterranean – and the signature chicken with honey and garlic or the roast goose leg with steamed red cabbage is not to be missed. There’s live music every night from 7 p.m. and a klezmer concert every Friday at 7 p.m. By Kaz Brecher"
Nice food I had the paprika chicken. Nice interior. Staff very friendly and clearly happy to work there, unlike many places in town. They even play piano.

Food was good, live piano was also very welcome, but what knocked it out of the park was the service team (Tomasz and Melinda), who were very attentive and bubbly and very eager to make everyone feel at home.

Go to this restaurant for amazing food with a fun atmosphere, they have a live piano player most nights, if not every night. Best time to go is Friday, booking recommended. Went mid-week and still very busy with great atmosphere. Lovely local cuisine and staff were so friendly. Helped us have our first pálinka! Ahh haha. Go try it.

The food is very traditional and authentic, and the staff (or the owner) is very nice and friendly, even encouraging me to take more photos 😂. There’s live piano music, and surprisingly, the prices are not that expensive.

We had the Chicken Paprikash, Hortobágyi Pancake and Cholent. Would definitely recommend the pancakes as it was a light and amazing starter. There was a pianist playing slow jazz and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming.

We had such a wonderful time at Spinoza! The atmosphere was lively, our food was excellent and our evening was great thanks to our hilarious waiter Tomi, who was bubbly, attentive and made sure to get everything right so we won't miss a thing. There was also live music at the restaurant and all enjoyed very much and will be back

We are visiting Budapest for our minimoon, we pop into this restaurant, not expecting too much. The food was incredible, the piano was so much fun! (We all sang a long) and the service was fantastic. They made it a really fun atmosphere and gave us free Hungarian schnapps having heard we'd just got married. Would highly recommend!!
