Space NK Duke of York

Rochelle at Space NK (Duke of York Square/Kings Road, Chelsea) is quite possibly the best store assistant I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She is incredibly professional and knowledgeable on all products as well as beyond helpful in finding the correct product for your individual needs, without ever pushing you to buy anything. What a refreshing shopping experience thanks to a truly exemplary sales woman. A lot of stores could learn a fair bit on the consultative sales approach from Rochelle. I left with everything I truly needed as well as a big smile on my face. X

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the staff in this store !! Me and my wife came in the other day as my wife wanted advice on some beauty products and all we were met with is absolute disrespect and superiority complex from the staff!! Especially from a female member of staff with a blazer and nothing past the waist line. Whilst waiting for member of staff to attend my wife we were stared down by the team as if we were stealing or doing something wrong when all we needed is a little attention. This doesn't seem like a staff to customer issue only either, the staff seem very hostile towards one another too, I'm pretty sure I heard one member of staff telling another that they are useless at some point. I don't know when did retail became so hostile but I would recommend staying away from this store !! Absolute waste of time and dignity! I'm not sure if it was racially motivated but there needs to be an option for negative starts on the review page as 1 star doesn't justify my wife's experience.

It would go a long way if staff smiled or didn't make it feel like a drag you're in the store. I wanted to spend $$$ but it just felt like I was interrupting their Sunday. 1 cashier in particular, he could try a tiny bit more to not come off as a sullen teenager working behind fast food counter and not a luxe beauty store. Maybe its a UK thing...? I'll do my shopping online.

I would not recommend this brunch. Yesterday I went there to buy some perfumes for my friend's birthday, but I had a shopper with me with my laptop in ( Never been followed for having a shopper with me on my shoulder). Is it a new policy if you want to buy something and don't feel embarrassed just go shopping with the small hand bag? I felt ashamed all the time as a security guard kept following me and standing next to me. I didn't feel comfortable at all and left the shop. To be honest the worst experience in my life.

I have seen Google reviews similar to my experience and I am confident that SpaceNK need to better train their staff and store manager at this location.The staff and store manager at this location have a superiority complex. I live locally and work in the beauty industry so I browse this flagship often to shop and see what’s new. However on this occasion I needed help finding a product, and I was completely shoved off by 3 Sales assistants. The store manager was eyeing me up and down and standing right over my shoulder whilst I was looking at mascara, Then mumbled something to the security guard as I left. The staff at this store made me feel like a liability and the manager in particular, treated me like a criminal. Please re-train your staff on the best practices on serving customers in a way that does not jeopardise business from a loyal customer and Space NK account holder.

I visited The Duke of Square at SpaceNk today. Been served by amazing beauty advisor Michelle who gave me insight about the beauty products (lip tint) ; very knowledgeable. I felt heart warming and will come back to shop here again. The team are super helpful as well! :) Muriel xx

I cannot recommend this branch enough! I want to give a special thank you to Mackenzie who took the time to explain all the various cosmetic options and test them out on me and Elcin for showing me around and helping with the perfume! I ended up buying all the suggestions and I'm so happy I finally have products that match my skin type! Thank you ladies! I highly recommend going to this store!

Please don’t put unfriendly staff next to the front door. I’m a frequent customer for Space NK and like to go there for beauty products, but today wanted to enter with my cup from coffee and was stopped by Chanede or Chanel lady who asked me to go outside with it in a very unfriendly manner , I felt very bad . I offered I can throw my cup from coffee away or leave it but she still told me to go outside with it abruptly. Disappointed!
