"It sounds a tad new age-y to the uninitiated, sure, but it's worth taking the 45-minute drive to Yucca Valley for a sound bath (some refer to them as sonic healing sessions) inside the Integration chamber. The hour-long experience consists of listening to a combination of live crystal bowl playing and pre-recorded music, which when combined with the chamber’s extra-strong energy levels, results in intense levels of relaxation. According to Integration’s creator, George Van Tassel, the all-wood structure was built on a geomagnetic vortex with guidance from Nikola Tesla’s writings and, umm, extraterrestrials. Though it sounds unlikely, there's something magical about the place. Call ahead to reserve."

If you're in the area, it's a hard yes! The building alone and the grounds are worth the price of admission. The sound bath is just the icing on the cake. If you have sensitive ears, you make want to bring earplugs. My ears are still ringing, but worth it. Talking your gratitude in the center was an experience like no other.

I used to love coming here years ago, but unfortunately, my past two experiences were disappointing at best. The bowl player, who is also the owner, spends time talking about himself, for way too long in my opinion. I understand going into the history of the property but find him do more talking then needed. Additionally, the way the bowls were played was ANYTHING but relaxing. The volume of the bowls was excessively loud—I had to turn my head away because it was physically uncomfortable, and I was genuinely concerned about potential damage to my ears. Beyond the volume, the flow and style felt disjointed and lacked the soothing quality typically associated with sound baths. Instead of feeling relaxed, I found myself waiting for the session to end. Having attended several sound baths over the past eight years, I truly appreciate the importance of both skill and intention in creating a peaceful experience. While the space itself remains incredible, I won’t be returning unless there’s a change in the practitioner to someone who understands how to play the bowls with care and expertise.

A very special place indeed. Reservations are a must. I've done it twice and each time a very different experience. After sound bath, head to the hammocks and just be....not the time to immediately get in your car. I like to arrive early and explores the grounds to see the art.

Very Beautiful Rural Desert Area. Very Peaceful and Tranquil experience. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Getting up into the sound bath may be difficult for people with limited motion or disabilities you may want to call ahead for assistance if you have and disabilities.

Absolutely fascinating. The story behind the building of this acoustically perfect structure and the connection to the Giant Rock, also a must see, was spellbinding leaving many questions to ponder. The sound bath is an intense experience, the crystal bowls resonate through your body, affecting everyone in different ways but an experience that will remain with all.

The best experience I've had in a long time! Very relaxing and cleansing. Plan on going back again.... and again. The grounds alone! Worth every penny.

When they say someone will fall asleep, they mean it. Within the first minute of the sound bath, someone was snoring, and with the acoustic setup, it sounded like it was coming from inside my head. I'm not sure if it would help or not, but I would recommend going early in the day to help avoid sleepers.
