Soul Lift Cacao

Soul Lift Cacao was such a lovely experience! From the clean warmth of the atmosphere to the super friendly team fixing beverages to the deliciousness liquid gold in a cup! The drinking chocolate is smooth, rich, decadent and filling! I consumed a chai drinking chocolate with warming spices and added on a mushroom blend along with CBD by East Fork Cultivars. They require proof of vaccination if you are sitting indoors to enjoy your beverages so make sure you’ve got your card handy. Made me feel much more comfortable going and sitting inside. There is also covered outdoor seating, with one heater which they’ll turn on upon request. I Loved every moment of my time there! If you’re looking for gifts they also have their cacao mixes.

Plenty of chocolate merchandise to choose from and one rotating daily drinking chocolate. We got the SPRINGS in a 12oz cup and it was very pleasant on an April spring afternoon.

I love Soul Lift Cacao. I visited Portland for a weekend and stopped in just to check it out. I ordered a snickerdoodle drinking chocolate. It was so amazing that when I got home I googled them and was able to order some to make at home. I like it because I don't drink coffee or caffeine but I can still feel like I'm having a latte when I drink this. I got single packets to give to my friends as gifts too. I also saw that they have intentional and ethical business practices. 5/5!

This place is horrible. If you want tasteless cacao powder in luke warm water, then this is your place. If you want flavorful powderless chocolate drinks, then go to Roste Chocolate in the Pearl. There are multiple issues: 1) They don't seem to use hot water, so it didn't completely dissolve the cacao powder. 2) If you don't use hot water, then strain your drinks so there is not clumps of cacao powder at the bottom. I got a tablespoon of undissolved cacao powder in two of my drinks. 3) Other people got small ceramic espresso cups of drinks, we got small Dixie cups with half the amount than other customers. 4) Also, if you call, the woman will answer and hangup on you. I called 3 times and it happened each time. If you are too busy, then don't answer the phone.

A chocolate oasis in the city. I bought a block of chocolate to take home. I’ve used it for smoothies, hot chocolate, coffee and yogurt. Hot chocolate has been my favorite version. Just smelling the block of chocolate is an amazing experience and an easy way to get a lift in my spirits.

This is an amazing place! I really appreciate their emphasis on the traditional cacao experience and supporting sustainable, regenerative, indigenous farms and communities. Whether getting cacao products to prepare at home or stopping in for a drinking chocolate, you don't want to miss out on this experience. Go and taste it for yourself and check out the other products they have available as well. Their traditional Copal incense is amazing too!

WOW, what an amazing place, amazing people and even more amazing sacred cacao. I received excellent customer service and can feel the love and intention put into each drink. So grateful this place is open!

We had an amazing time here! The air conditioning was crisp and the ambiance was clean and serene. My kiddo had the most amazing mint and cacao nibs milkshake and I had an iced latte that was to die for. To be able to satisfy a teen and a mama is no small feat. The selection of cocoa for sale looked amazing- truly inventive and interesting flavors. Finding ethical, handmade treats is a win.

Great people and great drinks. If you have a chance to stop by and grab a drink I think it's a win! I was out doing a tour of Portland for some visiting family and noticed the signs. We were delighted to get a cool drink on a hot day. The people are nice and friendly, a great place to retreat and relax. On a side note, it was one of Portland's over 90 degree days. The owner placed an ice cooler of water bottles in the outdoor seating area labeled for those in need. With empathy and compassion like this I have to support his business. Please support local businesses doing good things!

It was so exciting to come to Soul Lift in person, having been an online customer for about a year. Soul Lift is an incredibly unique shop, offering true ceremonial cacao from a wonderful variety of farms. This is the real deal! And my cup of cacao was amazing!!

This is a beautiful space! The people working here are kind and know their products well. The cacao is great quality and they have a very close relationship to the farmers that grow and harvest it. From what I can see on the outside, it appears to me that they do honor the communities from which cacao has been cultivated over generations. I recommend attending a community cacao gathering if you have never tried it before, they host them at the store sometimes.

Love this company and their product os much! It's truly a synergy and win for all including Mother Earth, thank you Soul Lift for providing such a high quality and integrity-laden product.

Pure deliciousness! On a recent visit (2/10/22) to Soul Lift Cacao, I was fortunate to hear a brief history of ceremonial cacao and it's sourcing, allowing for a greater appreciation on my part. All that, plus great service, a welcoming vibe and delicious drinking cacao. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful and cozy no-bs shop with an outdoor patio, WiFi, lots of plants, serving fire-roasted Guatemalan drinking cacao. Just like in cacao ceremonies-thick, frothy, rich. I've never seen a shop on the west coast doing this. Very exciting that this medicine is being spread into the mainstream, yay for heart opening! Smoothies and treats too; whole place is gluten free and dairy free. Love it!

Great find in a great neighborhood. Friendly as busy which is a great sign. Mint cacao shake was perfect! And Oolaloa was a perfect blend of chocolate, smoothness, medium rich flavor, added coconut milk which added a bit of creamy goodness. Don't miss this place!

Love it! This is not a fu-fu chocolate joint. soul and love flow from this Cacao and the shop is truly a gem. Savor the flavor and feel the connection to the earth.
