"Downtown's wholesale flower market (it takes up close to two city blocks) is a DIY goldmine. Yes, there are fresh flowers and succulents—both locally and globally grown—literally as far as the eye can see. But you can also come here to snag supplies like vases, gardening tools, and ribbon for a song. Pros get first dibs daily; during designated times, the general public can pay a $1 admission fee during the week; $2 on Saturdays."

Row upon rows of flowers. Plenty of selection. I don't know their prices on holidays but I'm sure they are cheaper than other flower shops in LA or even online.

Julia's Wholesale Flowers never disappoints! The vibrant colors and exquisite varieties truly are to die for. What sets them apart is the longevity of their blooms – weeks later, the flowers remain as fresh as the day I purchased them. Undoubtedly, Julia's offers not only stunning arrangements but also unbeatable value for your money. Highly recommend for anyone seeking quality and lasting beauty.

Amazing! Loved my first visit to the LA market. They have all the supplies and flowers you could possibly want. I went today because I wanted to look around before coming for Mother's Day. I highly suggest walking around and seeing everything you can before making a decision on flowers you want.

To prepare for our daughter's wedding, we visited the Los Angeles Original Flower Mart to get an idea of the flower arrangement for the wedding. The Original Los Angeles Flower Mart is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves flowers and plants. As one of the largest wholesale flower markets in the United States, it offers a vast selection of fresh-cut flowers, potted plants, and floral accessories that will satisfy even the most discerning florist or gardener. The flower mart has a rich history that dates back to the early 1900s, when a group of flower growers came together to create a centralized marketplace for their products. Today, the market spans over 50,000 square feet and is home to over 30 vendors who sell everything from classic roses to exotic orchids. Walking through the market is an experience in itself, as the colorful blooms and fragrant scents are sure to delight your senses. Whether you're looking to purchase flowers for a special occasion or simply want to admire the beauty of nature, the Original Los Angeles Flower Mart is a feast for the eyes. In addition to its impressive selection of flowers, the market also offers a range of floral supplies and tools, including vases, floral foam, and ribbons. And if you're feeling hungry or thirsty after all that shopping, there are several cafes and food trucks on site that serve up tasty bites and refreshing drinks.

Such a lovely flower market. Lots of selection if you’re going in to pick out a gorgeous bouquet for yourself or plan a whole event setup.

I love going to this place with my wife. Amazing flowers at cheap prices. We even did a friends wedding flowers purchased from here and spent $1000. We were told later by a florist that it would be about $6000 or more for the same thing through a florist.

Yelp
This is the best place in LA for flowers. I used to live close and would go just to walk around and look, or for flowers for bouquets or events. So many vendors! The prices vary based on the vendor so I would recommend going early in the morning for the best selection and walking through to see what you want to get. You could be there for hours. There's a $2 entry fee so bring some cash for that, but most vendors take card also. Gorgeous selection and well priced. Some vendors also sell plants so it's a great place to get plants, cut flowers, or pots. Park on the street with paid meters. There are two markets on either side of the street and the admission pays for both, so don't miss the second building!

Karen C.

Yelp
It's like a museum for fresh cut flowers, plants and decor. Some flowers I've never even seen before in my life, jaw dropping and stunning selections of flowers. If you were creating bouquets or arrangements for an event this would be the place to go! Not only do vendors have the raw materials they do have services where they can create bouquets for you too, if you don't have the time or creativity. Perfect for gifting: birthdays, graduations, religious events to just because you deserve some beauty in your life. Entry is $2 so bring some cash with you, you get a sticker to place on your shirt and you can go from the two sides of the flower market. A lot of vendors take card now so you don't have to bring that much cash with you. Even though I went a little crazy with my purchases I managed to keep it under $70 with is a bargain for how many plants I got. I got plants because I feel sad that cut flowers die, so with plants you get a bit of green that can last year round and clean the air to your house too! Parking nearby in a lot for $8 that has a ticket machine that takes card. Afterwards you can go to nearby Moskatels for more browsing, viewing pleasure!

Yelp
I like to get my flowers here for special occasions: weddings, funerals, mothers day, or any typical Tuesday. We had a work function I was assigned to organize and when I saw the flower budget and where they get flowers from I said "hail to the naw!!" Not tryna dis on local flower shops but dayuuum I wouldn't even go there bc they're expensive af!! I suggested we get our flowers from here and they said cool, whatever money leftover I could put toward more food lol!! I ended up getting orchids bc it matched the Asian theme we were going for. Not only are these flowers quality, they're wholesale and extremely cost efficient!! Was able to save the company 60% on flowers. I highly recommend!! Note: There is a $0.50 entrance fee to get in per person. Also there's a paid parking lot close by or you could bring your coins for the metered parking.

Yelp
After our brunch at Poppy + Rose we were immediately drawn to the wonderful fresh floral scent in the air so we crossed the street to walk the LA Flower Market. I haven't been here in years but the experience was just as I remember. However we noticed that there are now signs that say "No pictures. No videos." inside the market. There are so many varieties of plants, flowers, stems, succulents, cacti and more! The energy from all the shoppers carrying and carting large floral bundles wrapped in paper and twine was contagious. We didn't plan on buying anything but the ranunculus called to me and my daughter just loved the tulips. It was honestly hard choosing from all the different colors but we eventually decided on a few small bunches. There's more than enough paid parking in the area. Admission is $2/person. Vendors are welcoming and helpful. Prices are unbeatable.

Yelp
5/10/23 Today was just amazingly crazy to go but that's what happens when you don't plan ahead! LOL HAD to go get for my mom, aunt's & some coworkers, so this was definitely the place to be---it just so happens to be Mexican Mothers' Day as well. The Hyacinths & peonies caught my eye but I opted to get hydrangeas, waxies, & lisianthus, plus some succulents with blooms on a tiny pot for my coworkers. I wish I had more hands. I didn't want to get a flat bed cart coz it was going to slow me down. I was in & outta there in less than 30 minutes--record for me to traverse the flower mart!!!!

Yelp
This was my first time coming here, this place is awesome. All types of flowers and greener. It's really place you can come and relax while enjoying the planets. They have so many parts to this place. Halloween section is my favorite so far, I don't have a green thumb but I'm scared I might kill them. I'm going to try one day. Come here to get all your planet needs.

Yelp
I had very high expectations, so maybe that's why I left a bit disappointed. I think this is great if you have a specific event or occasion for which you need a lot of flowers. I went to explore any rare or fun flowers that I wouldn't find at Trader Joe's etc. I did buy a flower that I never see, but the prices were higher than I expected based on reviews ($12 for 6 stems). It's also frustrating that 75% of vendors don't list their prices. It makes me not buy from them because I don't want to ask the price and then awkwardly decline because it's too high. I always advocate for supporting local, but for my personal home flowers Trader Joe's has similar selection and lower prices. I guess I just hoped for more rare and exciting plants/flowers that I never see, which was not the case. I also just expected more vendors? I went at 8 am and fully expected to walk into a warehouse full to the brim with flowers but it felt kind of empty and sparse? For any plant lovers: Mickey Hargitay is a local plant shop that has just as big a selection at similar prices!

Yelp
While I have visited the LA Flower Market many times over the years, this is my first since the pandemic. All I can say is, times have changed. I still remember my first time visiting the flower mart during my college years. The smell of flowers hit my nose before I saw a multitude of flowers. It was $1/pp admission, $3 parking, and the flower prices were more than reasonable. Everything was just so fresh, vibrant, and plentiful. I've visited the LAFM for various occasions but mostly for the Lunar New Year to get large and small pots of yellow mum. Fast forward to my most recent visit to get Lunar New Year flowers with friends. Admission was $2/pp, parking $8, and flower options were just not abundant as before. Prices were also crazy high. It's probably because it's many factors including winter, ongoing supply chain issues, and overall price increases for everything. But sticker shock was real! I have purchased comparable flowers from Trader Joe's at a better price point. And there was not a yellow mum to be found. While I didn't end up getting anything, my friends got very beautiful branches with buds and a lot of orchids. They were extremely happy and so excited to decorate their home for the new year. I still enjoyed the experience and had fun with friends. So the trip was still a win in my book. I had fun and am sure I'll be back. I highly recommend parking in the LAFM parking especially if you visit in the early morning hours. While I have never had an issue you can never be too safe given the area is not the safest. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer size and variety available. So I recommend coming with a general plan and a cart if you a want to buy large plants or bulky items. Wear comfortable shoes and have fun exploring the LA Flower Market! LOCATION: 3/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 4/5 AMBIANCE: 4/5 CLEANLINESS: 3/5 PARKING: 4/5

Yelp
I love love to get fresh flowers !! I come here in the morning so I don't hit Trafic. They have the best selection of flowers and plants, and the vendors are always helpful. You can get arrangements all ready made, or just choose the flowers you like and have it made there for a extra fee. I like to drive here because I get beautiful fresh flowers for a fraction of a price I get at the grocery store , plus they are super fresh '

Julia B.

Yelp
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Great selection, and great prices. $2 to get in and on both sides!!! Worth it!!!

Andrea A.

Yelp
Came to the market looking primarily for dried florals and was satisfied with my purchases. There were maybe 3 or 4 stands selling dried florals. Some stands had varieties that others didn't. Came at around 9:15 on a Saturday and was easily able to park in the structure directly above the market. Overall great experience!

Crystal G.

Yelp
I'm sorry this is the only way to go. You have to go downtown to the Original Los Angeles flower Mart. I got up at 4 o'clock in the morning and went so I had the whole place to myself. Parking was easy to find and I didn't have to pay for it because it wasn't 8 o'clock yet. When my mom told me she was quoted $30 for each Tuxedo pocket square bouquet , it's just annoyed me. I need 16 of them , so you do the math. I'm a creative girl I'll make them myself! Save that money for other things. After all expenses, I came away under budget, of course. Saving my money for traveling.#She'sCrafty

Yelp
They are the only place in the Flower Market that sell bags of rose petals. I am also grateful for the warm and courteous service.

Yelp
Highly recommend so amazing!!! Endless choices. Internationally famous it's amazing !!!

Yelp
Popped in to pick up some flowers for my baby girl's bday party, place was already packed at 9 ish am. Parking was on the street, easy to find - as long as you are willing to circle around a bit. Everyone is always coming and going. There was a lot of flowers, but more of, a lot of the same kind of flowers different color from different vendors. On top they are all about a few bucks differences, so you woud a little bit of running around to get what you want. Overall for my baby girl's bday party flower decor, I spent $80 including admission, and I was able to to make 12 small dining table decor. Admission: $2 per person, then you get a sticker to indicate you paid Parking: street, and parking lot

Kayleigh M.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in LA!!! Tips: 1. Need to pay $1 for entrance (weekends $2?). You will get a sticker which allows you to access 2 buildings unlimitedly on that day. 2. More than one entrance. If you can't find it, just enter from the main entrance on Wall st. 3. Bring a bucket and put some water in it. Put your flowers in the bucket so they don't dry out when you got home. 4. Walk around first and don't buy anything if you are not familiar with any vendors. Try to take notes and pictures when you walk around. 5. If you are buying a lot, please bring a cart with you because the flowers are really really heavy! 6. Some vendors take cash only so bring some cash. 7. Parking is NOT free but you can park in the structure which is safer. 8. Go earlier and ENJOY!

Aura M.

Yelp
This place is heaven on earth. I have been here only few times but every time has been an amazing- fun experience. If you're doing yourself flowers arrangements for your special event, this is the place to come. Finding this place was easy. Paying for the entrance was nothing. It's worth it. You have OPTIONS, tons of options to choose from. My recommendations: 1) WAKE UP come early. The early you come, the best products you'll fine. 2) Bring Cash $$$ vendors prefer cash. That's your opportunity to negotiate the prices wink**wink 3) Bring your wagon. It makes the experience more pleasant. Easier to move around and to carry your stuffs. 4) Don't rush. Don't buy the first thing you see. Walk and explore. Check your prices. 5) Lastly, have fun. Go with someone to enjoy the experience.

Sheridan T.

Yelp
This is a wholesale flower market where florists and plant shops purchase their stock. Entrance fee at the door is $2, cash only. This gets you into the two warehouse buildings. They have literally everything here, from individual stems to bouquets, and seedlings to fully mature houseplants. They also sell accessories like packaging materials, gift decorations, planters, and pots. What blew me away were the low prices (it is wholesale, after all). Even if you don't have a need for buying in bulk, it's worth it to just come for a bouquet or two.

Steph G.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting the flower Mart in downtown LA. I believe it opens around 6 AM on a Saturday to the public. Prior to that it's for wholesale and trade only. It was a dollar to get in which was no big deal. You can cris cross between the two buildings for a good experience. Overall, we found quite a lot of flowers that we were interested in. There were plenty of roses, hydrangeas, eucalyptus, Dahlia, carnations, etc. There are also fresh green plants including cactus type plants. The majority of the vendors are open however there are some that still have not open to the Covid. For the most part everybody took credit card, although some required a minimum purchase. There was one that took a credit card but was below the minimum and charge me $.50 and then there was another we visited that only took cash. I did see an ATM by one of the restrooms. I suggest wearing some decent shoes. There is a little bit of water on the floor unfortunately from some of the drippings of the flowers that have been in buckets of water. Maybe flip-flops are not such a great idea. You can dress up for your Instagram photos or just be casual in shorts or jeans. You may want to bring a reusable shopping bag, tote or some type of IKEA bag to carry your purchases. Some people actually had rolling carts or wagons. I'm not sure if they were vendors or small business purchasing their flowers for the week. The vendors tie and wrap the bouquets for you. Masks are required. As far as social distancing is concerned, it was OK for the most part but you really need to police yourself. People are gathered looking at flowers and plants and walking past you within each individual vendor section. Some were not really mindful of keeping their distance. I did not find the crowds overwhelming in general. You can easily park in one of the close paid lots nearby I believe the one we parked at was wall Street and seventh perhaps and it was $10 for the day. When you're finished you might want to go across the street to Poppy and Rose and get some breakfast or brunch to go. Overall we were quite happy with our floral purchases. For four large bouquets of fresh flowers I think we spent around 20 or $25. I joked and said I would buy the 120 roses next time for $40. It really smells delightful in there I wonder how the holidays are.

Marilan L.

Yelp
If you like to make your own flower arrangements for parties, as gifts, or just to display in your house the LA Flower Mart is a perfect place for you to shop at. Split between two wide open warehouse are multiple flower, plant and accessory (i.e., pots and vases) vendors. Depending on the type of flowers you are looking for and the season, you're likely to find what you're looking for at the LA Flower Mart. The hours of the flower mart are early. I arrived around 9 AM and it was busy but people were social distancing as best they can and everyone was required to wear a mask. There is a an admission fee that ranges from $1-$2 and allows you to go in and out between the two warehouses. Street parking is definitely difficult to find but there are parking lots towards 7th Street that charges $10 dollars to park on Friday and Saturday. Parking prices are cheaper for Sunday and Monday-Thursday. With multiple vendors housed in one area, it's an easy one stop shop. The vendors do tend to carry the same types of flowers with certain locations having a wider variety to choose from. Prices are subject to the vendors discretion with certain types of flowers being more costly. The flowers I bought for my bouquets for an arrangement that were in the price range of $4-$8. Most places are cash with a minimum purchase in order to use credit card or a fee (usually 50 cents) to use a card. There are so vendors that have no minimum for credit card transactions or they allow for you to pay with venmo.

Aarin P.

Yelp
I'm so happy this place is so close to my house! I feel like a little girl in a candy shop.

Sharon K.

Yelp
Love the selection here! You want to come early since you get the best picks of the bunch. They have so many variety of flowers, venders, plants! I recommend to walk around once to see the prices. Then walk around a second time to get the ones with the best quality and price! I originally came here to check the plants. But the selection is very similar to plants I've already have. They have your basic selection like spider plants, snake plants, pothos, etc. the selection is the same you would find at your local nursery or Home Depot. I wouldn't make the drive here alone for just plants. Parking maybe a hassle, there are plenty of parking lots ($6-8) or meter parking. Yes, mask are required!

Bijou N.

Yelp
Beautiful flower market with tons of variety. Incredibly cheap and gorgeous with lots of selection. All types of flowers, bouquets, and plants! Parking here is a nightmare but if you're lucky, grab a spot and put a bunch of coins in the parking meter. You'll probably have to come out a few times to refill the parking meter.

Jordan C.

Yelp
Such a beautiful and amazing place, I love fresh flowers so I was in complete heaven here ! And only $2 to get in

Gabriel V.

Yelp
I love coming here. It is just like Christmas morning for me, you can find ANYTHING, literally from party supplies to flowers to exotic rare houseplants. You do have to pay entry fee, but what is 2 bucks when you can save tons. Prices here are so low I could not believe my eyes and the selection is so vast. I come here every few months and I'm in heaven.

Brandon H.

Yelp
I'm so happy I came by here! It was so pretty and beautiful to see all the flowers. I purchased 3 small bundles of dahlias and one bundle of blue and purple hydrangeas. The dahlias were about $24 (everything could fit in one vase) and the hydrangeas were $12. To be honest I'm not sure if that's a lot of money for flowers but I feel like 1). coming here is an experience of its own, 2). I feel like I'm treating myself even more than I would with just buying flowers at trader joes, 3). they have x10 more variety of fresh and dried flowers/ plants, 4). you're supporting flower vendors, and 5) the flowers here are high quality and, I believe, stay alive longer. There were so many vendors and they accept card and cash, but most vendors just required a $0.50/0.75 cent charge for card. As for parking, this can be a little precarious in downtown but I was lucky enough to nab a metered street parking. I think a last ditch effort is just to pay a few dollars for a parking lot. There are homeless tents around but the people there not mean and don't bother anyone - but just a warning of what the environment is like around the area. I still highly recommend people to check it out - it's also in the flower district so every corner is bustling with deals and flowers. I'm definitely coming again with my friends!

Yvette S.

Yelp
I love this place, I really do. They have a huuuuge assortment of beautiful flowers, plants, pots, you name it. I love how many different varieties and color choices you get here. However, I don't understand why they have to charge an entrance fee. People are already paying tax for all items and honestly it's not the best pricing. The reason I come here is because there are many choices of flowers NOT because it's cheaper. A bunch of tulips or gerberas cost the same here as they would cost at Trader Joe's for instance. So if you're coming here under the impression that it's super cheap, know that prices are not much different from grocery store prices- however, having more choices is the major plus. Also, parking SUCKS. Park at Moskatels if you plan to spend $10-$15 there I believe they validate 2hr parking

Lyla D.

Yelp
We love to browse and purchase plants and flowers from the Original Los Angeles Flower Market (OLAFM) on Saturday mornings whenever we're in town. The key to getting the freshest and the best quality is to come to the Flower District early morning. We're usually here by 7:00am or 8:00am on Saturdays. The OLAFM is the single largest and most successful flower district in the United States. It encompasses 6 city blocks but let me tell you, just walking around you can feel like you're getting in your 10K steps especially if you're carrying or carting around your purchases. The OLAFM is open Monday through Saturday to both trade and general public. Their operating hours to GENERAL PUBLIC are as follows: Monday & Wednesday 8am - 12pm Tuesday & Thursday 6am - 11am Friday 8am - 2pm Saturday 6am - 2pm There is a $2 weekday admission fee or $1 on Saturday. We usually park in the secure rooftop parking structure of the OLAFM. Its entrance is located on the west side of San Julian Street between 7th and 8th Streets. There are limited metered stalls available nearby but it's so much more convenient to park in the structure especially if you have purchases to pack into your car. TIP: If you know that you're interested in large floral arrangements or plants, I would recommend that you bring a wheeled cart to put your buy(s) in. Also, you might want to line your car trunk with plastic or some sort of tarp if you purchase potted plants, there WILL be dirt in the flower pots.

Rachel V.

Yelp
A must visit for beautiful plants and flowers. We came on a Saturday morning, parking, as it is in most of DTLA is tough, but we're were able to find street parking ($4 per hour). There were also a couple of lots in the area. I will note, it borders a lot of homeless encampments, so keep that in mind when deciding where to park. Admission is $1 but totally worth it. The vendors are all very nice and you can find just about anything you want, from flowers, to succulents to plants. We even picked up a couple vases and planters. Some places take card, but there are plenty of ATMS in the multiple buildings if you need cash. Highly recommend!

Isabel S.

Yelp
Went to check out some flowers. Need flowers for a project for next month. They were sooo pretty !!! Also having to wear a face mask I think is good for people who have allergies Beautiful Also it's $1 for entrance and let's one go through both buildings of the flower market

Katie K.

Yelp
Every flower you could imagine all in one place. I did most of my wedding flowers myself - centerpieces, decor, and toss bouquet. Did a recon mission a few weeks out to talk to vendors and make some practice arrangements. Different vendors have different prices, and varying quality of flowers, so do your research! We got more flowers than we needed and saved thousands doing the arrangements ourselves.

Nicole B.

Yelp
If you are looking for fresh flower leis, highly recommend Divine Orchids and More at the LA Flower Market (stall 25). You can call ahead and they can have it ready for you - highly recommend this if you want something specific, they were out of the single purple leis by 9am today (they had plenty of other colors, I still bought 20 leis easily). Current price is $13 for single and $20 for double. They also had specialty leis. Much better price than grocery stores or florists. Wonderful, friendly service too.

Brittany N.

Yelp
Hands down best floral market I've ever been to! I went on New Year's Eve and it turns out they were open to the public at 6am versus the usual 8am! Check out their website because some special holidays or occasions they may have different store hours. As a first timer, I was so overwhelmed and excited by the different varieties! There are so many fresh flowers in addition to dried flowers, pottery, and greens! Basically a huge marketplace where vendors sell their own flowers wholesale. The ones I went to purchase my flowers all accepted either cash or credit. Oh, and admission is $2 per person! This counts for the original LA flower market AND the Southern California flower market which is right across from them! So you can go in and out between the two (which I did because my indecisiveness could not decide which flowers to buy).

Marc D.

Yelp
Can't believe it took me so long to check this place out considering it's practically in my back yard. Yes, I like flowers... there, I said it. They brighten that dark space between your 4 walls that you've been crowded between during this COVID nightmare. As you can imagine, a whole block devoted to flowers is going to have a great selection, BUT, things were pricier than I expected. Where I would usually spend under $20 for a couple of nice bunches at the Farmer's Market, here, I spent over $30, so don't forget your wallet. This place opens early, so I'm glad I a-rose before my other buds to check it out.

Miguel S.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I came to get ideas for a funeral coming up. But we also found great flowers for fun celebrations. We are into arts and crafts and just doing DIY stuff, so we bought a few items and there are sooo many flowers to choose from and such a fair price! P.S. there is a $1 entrance fee, but this allows you to enter 2 buildings to see many different florists.

Andreas K.

Yelp
A must in Los Angeles - even if not in the greatest neighborhood - this is a landmark that you must see at least once in a lifetime. Even in Covid times (I can't imagine how crowed it likely used to be in the past), it is amazing to watch these immense halls full of beautiful flowers - with an intensity of a scent that even my N95 could (fortunately) not shield it off completely

Yelp
Came to the Original Los Angeles Flower Market to school myself on flowers for my engagement party. THE AMBIANCE: It was my first time paying attention to the flowers and taking my time shopping around. I paid for a ticket to enter the market. The market is large with a pocket to the left that turns toward the back. It is basically a warehouse with many independent flower shops. I loved the shop with all the small cacti! So cute! MY DISCOVERY: Billy balls. (They went in my centerpieces). THE TIPS: I parked down the block at a flat rate, outdoor parking lot and walked over. Take a jacket! Even though it was hot outside, I was freezing inside.

Yelp
Always a great neighborhood for a walk and to pick up some flowers or plants. Very vibrant colors and good vibes.

Yelp
Great place to buy some flowers and some plants! The prices are almost alike to every store, but i really like coming here because there are so many different kinds of plants. Came here to by flowers for a debut and the price are very cheap for the amount of flowers that i bought. Cons: - parking is really hard to find Overall, great establishment!

Yelp
Huge selection of flowers for a great price. I don't get my flowers from anywhere else. It's very well organized. The customer service is above and beyond. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Yelp
I have been coming to the Flowers market since 2000 and it's always a deal and those beautiful flowers amazing. There's around the market parking range from $8-$10 weekday all day. Weekends are more expensive. You can always park at Moskatels buy something there and get parking validation, their parking is in Julian st. Kind of hiding but is great parking , a little limited on the weekends. There's a fee of $2 in the morning.

Yelp
$1 entrance fee is nothing compare to how much you will save by buying from here. It is a really cool place, they have all sorts of flowers, plants, roses, orchids at extremely good prices... ( see photos ) so the place was pretty lively considering that we came the weekend before valentine's. I been wanting a plant for my desk at work... will def. stop by here next time in DTLA. tulips for $7.50, tint hydr for $8.50. mini orchids for $5. and tons of other plant goodies!!

Yelp
I tagged along with my sister and her office admin to get flowers here for their company's holiday party. We came on a Saturday morning around 8ish which was a good time as the market wasn't too crowded yet. The vendors at the Farmers Market outside of the Mart were still setting up their booths on Wall St when we got there. You do have to pay a $1 entrance fee to get in. You'll also need more cash to pay for anything inside the mart. Vendors do not take cards. There is an ATM on the premises, but be prepared to pay a hefty fee to get money out! The Flower Mart is made up of two warehouses right across from each other on Wall St. Your entrance fee is good for both places. We went to both and my sister was able to find all the flowers, garlands and fillers that she needed for centerpieces. She said that everything was significantly cheaper at the Flower Mart. It's definitely worth your while to get flowers here if you want to save a lot of money! They had peonies, dahlias, hydrangeas, bunches of tulips and ranunculus, orchids (for $8.99!!!), garlands, succulents, roses and so many more! They also have vases and any other floral accessories you may need for a party or special event. Parking is a pain in the area. We ended up parking at a lot for $10. It's only half a block from the Flower Mart.

Yelp
Took me three tries, but *finally* got to the flower market in COVID times! This place is an old fave and it was lovely to walk around and look at the flowers for a while. I've been wanting some dried flowers for fall, and if you're into that sort of thing, I feel like the market has more now than ever before. I snagged some super pretty ones from Sunrise Wholesale Flowers and love how they look at my house! It ran me about $30 for a big handful of them--not the cheapest ever, but certainly less than at a boutique-y type place or even on Etsy. If you don't read anything else in this review, read this: do NOT visit on the weekend. My first try here was on a Saturday which was absolutely a no-go. There was a line out the door and nowhere to park, so I peaced out and tried again the next week. That time I was too late (poor planning on my part, they close at noon each day). I finally made it in yesterday with an hour until close time. Be sure to bring $2 cash (preferably small bills as they weren't able to break my $20, but a very nice vendor was able to for me). Masks and distancing were enforced for the most part, although there was a stubborn lady who wore her mask below her nose and pulled it down to talk and nothing was said to her. I'm sure it's a tricky situation as the vendors are there to sell and security can only do so much. It's essentially an open air market which did ease my concerns a bit, but thought I should mention it if you're nervous about that sort of thing. The one major downside: parking is a total nightmare. It's mostly limited to street parking and you'll probably have to circle and/or park a ways away. Unfortunately due to the year we're having, DTLA has also seen a major increase in homelessness and encampments--everyone I interacted with was kind, just something to be mindful of when parking. The whole flower district is a very LA experience that everyone should have at least once, so don't let the parking deter you. Check it out!

Yelp
Very affordable prices for quality flowers. It costs $1.00 to have unlimited access to both markets. Parking is challenging so it's best to go early in the morning to avoid the traffic, and to get a parking spot on the street (meter parking). My sister in law and I each were given a free dozen roses of our choice (by a vendor) that were on their way to be thrown away, due to replacing them with fresher flowers. We happily obliged! I will be purchasing flowers for my party in 2 weeks. I hope all turns out well!

Yelp
Always an adventure to take an urban safari downtown to the flower mart. Coming from the Eastside, it's fun to take one of the bridges over. The early morning commute was easy enough. The meters are a bit of rip off if you are using coins, so better to use a card. I added a few extra quarters to get a couple of extra minutes while a friend finished paying and it didn't register..... so just be aware of that... However the shopping extravaganza and scent inside the flower mart is so worth it. The colors and variety are amazing. It's a lot smaller than I remember from way way back in the day when a late night trip to the flower mart was the cap on an evening winding down at Gorky's, but that was decades ago. Still if you want to be creative and create something amazing for yourself, a gift or special event... GO HERE. There is also a Christmas Shop Upstairs, reminded me of the old Stat's in Pasadena. It's never to early... I want to go back to for the Gold Ginkgo leaf sprays! Great prices, friendly vendors that really appreciate your business!

Yelp
If you love plants and a bargain, this is your place. I've gotten a couple plants and pots from Harry's at the bottom corner and also Rudy's on the other corner same building as Harry's. Both fantastic. Those are just the ones I know off the top of my head. You can find great deals all around.

Yelp
Rude & arrogant. Poor service. Crappy merchandise. I was looking for manzanita trees & branches. His store is like a junk yard
