Amazing place, food, wine and service - I would definitely come back when I visit Scotland and Edinburgh again and will definitely recommend it to everyone!!!

I can’t rate this wonderful place highly enough. I came in here as a solo traveller travelling for work and got a seat at the bar. I decided to do the Big red wine flight with matching cheeses, and then at the end got an amazing Scottish cheese to finish. The wine and cheese were absolutely wonderful and the younger guy behind the bar making the charcuterie boards was so lovely and friendly. Highly recommend if you are visiting Edinburgh- I will be coming back! 😀💛

If you love wine and you're in Edinburgh, this is the place to go. Unbelievable selection of wines, incredibly knowledgeable (and down to earth) staff, fantastic chilled out atmosphere. It's not cheap but it's good value for the quality of the wines and the time the staff spend with you to make sure you order the right wine for you.

First class evening at Smith and Gertrude last night. Great collaboration between Smith & Gertrude, Aemilia and Acetaia San Giacomo. Brilliant food, wine and balsamic.

We were walking by the beach and we stopped for a wine. It was one of the most amazing findings on our holidays. Friendly staff, amazing service and excellence of knowledge and wine variety. Loved the place definitely recommend.
