Visited Skittle on a Monday lunch. I loved the minimalist and industrial aesthetic of the venue, definitely has very Melbourne modern cafe vibes ;p. The service was pretty quick and the staff were pretty friendly. Coffee wise, we felt the iced latte was a little too sweet and the coffee’s could’ve been stronger/more bitter. Overall a nice place to visit if you’re in the area.

Really good ham & cheese croissant, good coffee, could be a little hotter and stronger to me. Was lukewarm but ok on a hot day. Not much seating space. Super friendly staff make it a nice experience!

I still remember the coffee I had here for the first time, a latte that was instantly good. It instantly made my first trip to Sydney with its constant rain feel so atmospheric. I always hoped to return if I had the chance, and I’m so happy to be back. This time, I ordered the cold filter with Ethiopia beans and the house espresso. CB was so sweet and incredibly juicy, and the ESP had such nice balance. I wish I could have stayed longer, but grateful to see that same dedication to excellent coffee. See you next time! I can't wait to try the one I'm taking home too!

Good coffee , tasty sandwiches. Nice atmosphere but the only drawback was too little place to sit. Small tables may be appropriate for sipping coffee but difficult for eating sandwiches.

Very cute hip space with a nice clam ambience away from the hustle & bustle of the CBD. Staff are friendly and the coffee was exceptional.

Got a flat white. Coffee was quite average for its price — perhaps I was misled by the overhyped reviews. Service was great and space was kinda nice to sit around and do nothing though.

The coffee is delicious, and the ambiance is great. However, the only downside is that there are no separate tables, only staircase-style seating with chairs. It might be challenging to recommend for groups since it's not easy for several people to sit together and enjoy their meal.

Amazing coffee in a cute hidden place! Plant based milk options are available

Yelp
Wonderful little coffee shop. The baristas were first class and the coffee was fantastic. Seating is not ample though they are working well with what they have. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Went twice total, still good flat whites, excellent service. Mocha was also very yummy. I like this place for its consistency.

Yelp
A "regular" coffee at Skittle Lane is 3/4 of the size (if even that) of a regular coffee you would normally expect to find in a cafe - but they charge the same price as other cafes. As for the taste? Bleh! My first sip tasted like medicine. Have never come across coffee tasting like this before. Really disappointing.

Yelp
So today I walked into an empty cafe and watched the barista take 10 mins to make me a long black. Two minutes to make the coffee and eight minutes to use that coffee to paint an abstract artwork on my cup. I'd hate to see this place at peak hour. Despite this their single origin was decent. $4.50 for a large which is the size we used to call a small (8oz). What is with this portion size shrinkage? I blame Michael Moore and those Sugar Film people. I appreciate the minimalist decor in this place, sympathetic to the style of the building. I hear the eponymous Skittle Lane is going to be a little foodie paradise when they're done. I also hear this cafe sells Brewnuts and other lovely treats but they were long gone by the time I visited at 2.30pm. It's on my route from the office to Pitt St Mall so I can see myself filling up that coffee card at some point.

Yelp
The bag of beans to take home was awesome! The Flatty is like butter ganache, with caramel tang. More please. Smaller take away cups are better! Coffee is Expensive, milk is cheap, A bigger cup taste weaker.

Yelp
Nice place, very limited food options and definitely not the place to have a coffee catch up (bunch seating only) difference between 4 and 5 stars is the coffee, good flavor but way too light for my liking
