SK Steak & Oyster

Went for dinner there with a few mates couple of nights ago. If you are willing to spend the money, the food here is really good. Mushroom risotto was perfect. T-bone steak could have been better but the prime rib steak made up for it. That was exceptional.

Specializing in steak, oysters, and seafood for a fine dining experience. 🥩🦀 Since I was dining solo, I kept it simple with beef tartare and crab pasta. Not mind-blowing, but above average. The pasta was slightly oily, but overall, I enjoyed a lot. For dessert, I tried the apple tart 🍎. Love it! The ice cream had an interesting, unique texture, and the cream was light and refreshing. The lighting is on the dim side, adding to a cozy, intimate ambiance—perfect for dates or special occasions.

Great steak, great oyster, classic flavours & well seasoned steaks. Had Kiwami 200g & the Prospect Black Angus 400g 🥩 - we preferred the Angus overall but appreciated the Kiwami. Portion sizes were gracious especially on the Lobster Mac. It’s a nice place to visit and to get what you expect- a great solid steak & oysters; just like the name! 👍 ps: the warm dessert was a bonus, a nice touch to finish the meal with a lil hot & cold action 🫶🏻

Best steak & service in BNE. Been here 20+ times in 1 year, can't fault it. Friendly, professional service that makes us feel at home. When they have live music it's such a treat. Food & drinks on point. Tiramisu martini is a must. Other faves: natural oysters, bread with Bu Deli vegan butter, sweetcorn agnolotti, Wagyu eye fillet, roast potatoes. Skip the Strawberry cake & get the choc soufflé instead (order it in advance since it takes 20min to cook).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Steak and Oyster Brisbane, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff provided impeccable service, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our meal. The cocktails were nothing short of fabulous — expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. But, of course, the true stars of the evening were the steak and oysters, which were cooked to perfection and served fresh. However, the surprising highlight of the meal was definitely the Beef Tartare. It was an explosion of flavor with every mouthful, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. A special thanks to Theo and his incredible team for making our visit so memorable. I can't recommend Steak and Oyster Brisbane enough for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience! Nice ambience; I enjoyed my entree (tuna carpaccio) but thought the seafood risotto was a little bland; hubby enjoyed his oyster- tried all three styles and declared natural was best. Hubby also ordered the wagyu ribeye 220g. He ordered it medium rare and although it tasted nice it was blue in the middle. It was $86 and all you get is steak on a plate. The sauce is an extra charge and so are the sides. We shared the lobster mac and cheese as a side but it was bland. I enjoyed my cocktail but hubby’s was like cough syrup Entree came out quickly as there was minimal cooking for those dishes. We waited 45min for our mains to come following our starters. At this price point I would expect flawless and timely service and every meal to be perfect. Will I come back? Probably not.

Lovely overall experience at SK for a dinner date. The japanese steak and their house sauce was absolutely to die for and the steak tartare was delicious. Loved loved loved the cheese platter for dessert. However, the oysters were very underwhelming. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely return to try other menu items.

Absolutely stunning with the contemporary ambience and live music. We had the signature dishes, all amazing with a good range of MBS for the steak. Attentive in customer service with Steve. Will be back.
