Sinyet chatjip (Shin Tea House)

An unforgettable experience and location. I've never been anywhere like it before, at least not back home in Canada. If you're visiting please come here, you won't regret it. Please try the Cinnamon and Ginger tea and some traditional korean rice snacks.

We LOVED this place. Real brewed tea, not from a tea bag. Tea is delicious. We tried the peach ginger tea and the ssanghwa tea. Both very good. So takes around 10 min. They have found so many wonderful antiques to decorate inside. Each table has REAL cinnamon bark! NOT fake sticks! And l totally recommend breaking off a piece and letting it soak in your tea (which will be very hot). Great place. Can not wait to go back and relax!

Been here a couple times. Love the little shop feel and always good service. There is a minimum order so be prepared but the teas are nice and it very quiet so a nice break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plum tea is really nice & sweet.

Sweetest teahouse in Seoul with very friendly service, and they speak English. The tea is excellent, as are the traditional sweets that come with it. It's a quiet place to soak in the traditional atmosphere of old Seoul and have a little break.

Such a lovely experience in a beautiful tea house! I ordered quince tea which was so sweet and delicious - and sweet rice cakes which were so light and fluffy! The ambiance was so gorgeous it was a lovely place to take a break from shopping and walking around Insadong. The owners were so kind and helped me choose the right tea :)

Loved this cafe so so so much. Ambiance is cute and decor is rather artistic. They have benches for sit down or even floor mats. The drinks were very delicious: we tried ssanghwa tea & had jujube tea. We had a plate of assorted rice cakes. Sweets were fresh and tasty. Lady taking order and serving was very focused and attentive. Highly recommend it.

Quiet and cozy tearoom. The service is not the fastest, but the teas are really good. We've tried the jujuabe tea and green tea. Both of them were quite special.
