"Stay on Silver Sands Beach Located in the small town of Duncans Bay, off the North Coast Highway, Silver Sands is easily in the top three most breathtaking beaches in Jamaica . A half-mile long, the beach is flanked by cliffs, the water is sparkling clear and the sand powdery white. Although it’s private and accessible only to guests of Silver Sands Villas, it’s worth staying at least a couple of nights to enjoy it. There’s an on site restaurant and bar to complete this glorious beach scene."

Silver Sands isn’t the kind of place you stumble into, it’s the kind of place you find when you’re lucky. Tucked near Duncans in Trelawny, this beach is pure Jamaica: calm, local, and blissfully untouched by the tourist machine. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever set foot on, white sand, turquoise water, and a sense of peace that feels almost sacred. You won’t find cruise ship crowds or all-inclusive chaos here. Instead, you’ll find families picnicking, kids playing soccer in the sand, and the kind of easy laughter that only comes when people feel at home. I was one of the only Americans around, and that made it even better, a true glimpse into how Jamaicans vacation. We stayed at Mai Tai Villa, and it couldn’t have been a better setup. The team who cooked and cared for us made the trip feel personal and real — like staying with extended family who just happen to be incredible hosts. For families or travelers who want a genuine, soulful experience of Jamaica, Silver Sands is it. Quiet, local, and absolutely unforgettable.

Not sure this one is labeled right. It’s a small section between wavebreakers with lots of fishing boats. But there is the awesome long Duncan Bay beach adjacent to this one. Public, parking, bar.

Beaches nice and quiet and clean however it's difficult to park close to the beach as before as a residents have blocked off the Inlet Road you have to park on the main road which is full of potholes since the 1970s no hope inside of repair

Lovely small beach great for relaxing or snorkelling on a clear day. The beach bar can be pretty slow so just remember you’re on island time :)

More of a fishing beach than a swimming spot. Vendors with locally made trinkets on location. I found a treasure of conch shells which was amazing.

Beautiful white sand beach! Be careful of rocks in the shallow parts.

This place offers privacy and group housing. Fresh fish, fresh food, and fresh coffee was amazing. I recommend this area

Beautiful beach that lives upto it's name. Quieter than Burwood beach, but less amenities.
