The first collection of Shinola watches featured at Barney's in NYC sold out almost immediately and the company is having trouble keeping up with demand online. Stop in the TriBeCa New York City showroom, the Detroit showroom on Canfield, or one of the many boutiques around the country that sell the Shinola bicycle and see for yourself what it's all about! There's even an option to pick up your watch from the Detroit factory on Milwaukee. I took the tour myself and I'd highly recommend it. There's a positive spirit in the air that's highly contagious!"

It's one of those experience stores where they cater to your every whim. Valet parking, free coffee, etc. The stuff is pricey, but you already knew that. It's nice to see a company that is in Detroit, hopefully it remembers ten years from now and doesn't start making things in China.

He was very patient, inquisitive to what I did and didn’t like about the various watch faces and bands we tried, and ultimately helped me find the perfect one. I LOVE Shinola products and was excited to pop in the Canfield store on the afternoon of June 12th. Said hi to the young man standing near the front, looked me in the eye and didn’t say a word back. Another staff member joined him in standing and they began chatting about misc personal topics. Nobody asked me if I needed help, but I was in a hurry and maybe that’s why. I’ll likely keep my Shinola shopping online, not the friendliest experience. Edit: Store manager contacted me and was lovely, I really admire that not only did she take the time to do so, but that she was kind and open to feedback. It was an above and beyond response.

If you are looking to buy quality products this is not the place. Purchased an $800 bag and the stitching came loose within months.I was told that it wasn't covered under warranty after it was sent for repairs. After multiple attempts to have this company back their message of quality and luxury products I ended up having to pay for repairs to be made. If you're looking for smoke and mirrors look no farther. Go hang out grab a free coffee at their cool looking store on my dime apparently. Shinola you should be ashamed of yourself!
