Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel

Our five-night stay exceeded all expectations. We regularly stay at Marriott properties, and this has truly been one of our best experiences to date. The service was exceptional throughout our stay, especially from the lounge manager, our room attendant Sanjib, and one of the breakfast waiters, Aymen. Everyone greeted us warmly and made us feel genuinely welcome at all times. Housekeeping deserves special mention: Sanjib and his colleague provided the best room cleaning we have experienced in all our years with Marriott. The room was always immaculate and perfectly maintained. The Lounge is, without question, the best we have ever experienced. For guests without Platinum status or above, we would honestly recommend upgrading, as it is absolutely worth it. Light snacks are available at lunchtime, but dinner is truly outstanding. Several freshly prepared dishes are offered every evening, all of exceptional quality and far superior to what we have encountered in European lounges. We have attached a few photos. Congratulations to the entire team for maintaining such high standards. This property offers excellent facilities, even beyond what we have mentioned — including a private beach, a heated pool, and complimentary bottled water. If we return to Qatar, there is no doubt about where we will stay

Returning to the Sheraton Grand Doha after almost 25 years was an experience filled with nostalgia, joy, and genuine surprise. My last stay was in 2000, and stepping back into this iconic property reminded me immediately why it has remained such a beloved landmark in Qatar. What makes the Sheraton Grand Doha truly special is its unmistakable 1980s charm — that original architectural character, the sweeping atrium, and the elegant lines that have defined Doha’s skyline for decades. It is one of the rare hotels that has managed to preserve its heritage while seamlessly integrating modern comfort. The result is a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both timeless and refreshingly authentic. The staff deserves special praise. From arrival to departure, every interaction felt sincerely welcoming, attentive, and polished. There is a wonderful sense of pride among the team, and it shows in the way they treat guests. My room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the views across the Corniche and the Arabian Gulf was a reminder of how perfectly located this hotel still is. Facilities remain excellent — the pool and beach areas are beautifully designed, offering plenty of space and a relaxed ambience. The dining options were as impressive as I remembered, with generous breakfast spreads and several venues that capture the hotel’s classic spirit. The hotel has kept its soul, its character, and above all, its warm hospitality.

An amazing luxurious hotel. The location is perfect, interior design is great and the room is so specious with an amazing sea view. The food is great and the service is excellent. The executive lounge is beautiful, the food is great and the whole team there is so helpful, always go beyond expectation to make us happy. Special mention to Gita, Sabrina and Kay who made our time on the lounge amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely come again

We are returning guests to this hotel, and we enjoyed it once again tremendously. This is the first 5 star hotel in Doha, and you can feel its importance and history anchored deep within. The hotel has this charm, yet they keep carefully updating and renewing, hence, all is top-notch, yet it has this charm. We appreciate the attentiveness of the staff across the various departments of the hotel which is just outstanding, to name a few: Executive Lounge: Qayyum, Hazal, Suraj, Gita - thanks a lot for your fantastic service combined with a delicious food offering in the lounge all days we were there. Al Hubara restaurant: Lijo, Rajesh, Aye, Olya, Cheynived, Rayana and check Marouane - thanks for the wonderful service and the delicious food offering. We were welcomed by Dhylatov at reception and treated with a wonderful room (Rabina took good care of us). Overall, we enjoyed the time at the Sheraton and we will surely plan another visit.

I had a great experience at Atrium Lounge. The staffs provided excellent service, being both friendly and attentive especially the hostess Sarra, their captain Lenin and Narayan, the iced matcha latte was incredible smooth, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. It had just the right mix of matcha and creaminess, making it a refreshing treat. The atmosphere was cozy and clean, making it a perfect place to relax. I’ll definitely come back with my friends!

Honestly, I've never contacted hotels or restaurants by email or text before because I think it's just a courtesy. But this time I'm making an exception for a hotel employee I spoke to on the phone about a simple matter; she could have given me a replyHer superiors closed the case, but she was very kind to me and contacted her superiors more than once. Her only concern was to satisfy me and solve my problem, even though it required a great deal of effort on her part.
