⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a remarkable stay at this elegant hotel! From the moment we stepped into the grand Colonial-style building, we were truly captivated by the ambiance and hospitality. The location is ideal, just a stone's throw away from the Ethiopian National Theatre and the National Museum of Ethiopia, offering convenient access to these cultural gems. Our room was simply furnished yet incredibly cozy, equipped with modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and a well-stocked minibar. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Club-floor room with its exclusive lounge access and complimentary cocktails, adding an extra touch of luxury to our experience. The dining options here are exceptional, catering to every palate with a diverse range of cuisines. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Italian restaurant and the Indian eatery, both offering a culinary delight. The chic spa with its sauna and whirlpool tub provided a perfect relaxation spot after a day of exploration. The outdoor pool was a refreshing retreat, and the service throughout our stay was impeccable. Special kudos to the staff for their attentiveness and warm hospitality. Did not stay here, only went for the day to use the pool with the kids. Food tasted great, service was a bit slow. They did forget our drinks and when we asked they tried to make us double pay. Thankfully I took a photo on my phone incase any issues raised to show them. Otherwise there are towels and robes for pool use. Nice lounge areas. Music under the water while swimming. Nice cocktails, nice food, very animating. Will return again.

I had an amazing experience during my stay, from the receptionist to the housekeeping staff. Everyone was fantastic! Zelalem, who booked my reservation, was exceptional and very professional. As a Marriott Platinum member, I felt treated like royalty, especially with access to the lounge where I could relax and enjoy snacks while waiting for my room to be ready.||||The housekeeping staff was also outstanding. They often brought me fresh fruit each morning and regularly checked in to ensure I had everything I needed. ||||The breakfast included in my rate was excellent, with a great variety of food options. The team was attentive and always available to take orders or check on me, making sure I had everything I wanted without hesitation.||||The security guards and elevator staff treated me with respect and made me feel valued throughout my stay. Whenever I visit Addis, Sheraton Addis is always my #1 choice. I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10, especially for maintaining my loyalty points and rewarding me accordingly.

Addis can be a crazy city at times and the Sheraton is an oasis of calm luxury. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The staff make you feel right at home from the minute you walk in the door. If you want to stay "on grounds" there is plenty to keep one busy from the wonderful pool to the different bars, musicians, shops and other amenities on site. I worked with the concierge making arrangements before we arrived from the US. He was helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. He connected us to a great private driver during our stay there. We had a very brief stop over and his recommendations for places to see and things to do was perfect for our itinerary. If you are ever in need of a hotel in Addis Ababa, certainly check out the Sheraton, you will not be disappointed.

The Sheraton Addis was once considered one of the top hotels, but it doesn't hold up as well today. The atmosphere feels quite bland, and during my visit, the water area was out of service. I also had lunch at the buffet, and the cost didn't reflect the quality of the food. The variety was disappointing for a buffet. I've found better hotels in Addis that offer superior food and service. While the Sheraton Addis is still a good place to mingle with affluent professionals like diplomats and business owners, its long-standing reputation no longer makes it the best hotel in Addis.

This is the best place to stay in Addis Ababa. Definitely a luxury place. It’s absolutely beautiful and its own wonderful compound that we loved our walk on the jogging track! Two women traveling in Ethiopia and we safely can walk on their jogging track! This was a plus for us.|We checked in and the fabulous Selamawit checked us in. The room was very nice. Beds were very comfortable and we slept wonderfully. The buffet breakfast was fantastic! My cappuccino was good. They had an egg bar so I had my eggs ordered to perfection. I loved how they had so much Ethiopian food Inc. in the buffet along with all other things. It was wonderful being able to try different cuisines of Ethiopia every morning. With a wonderful pastry And vegetable choice|We stayed two nights at first, then we flew to Labelle to see the rock carved churches! I highly recommend you do this. It was amazing. We stayed at sorrows Lodge. It was fantastic with an amazing view there. We came back to the Sheridan for our last couple nights - Bethel checked us in and she was fantastic also. In fact, everyone here at this hotel was so kind, generous and helpful. Their English was very good. We never had a language barrier. |The spa was fabulous very Etruscan with mosaics, etc. With a wet and dry sauna, and Jacuzzi that you can use for free as a hotel guest. I splurged and had the most amazing reflexology, body scrub, and deep tissue massage with the amazing Addis. She did such a fantastic job working out all of my kinks from all the trekking through the jungles and up volcanoes for the last 21 days. I highly recommend her and the spa. It was also a great price.|They have a wonderful executive lounge and the happy food was amazing. Wondwosen and Sefiw were fantastic servers in the lounge so kind and at our service.

This is not a luxury hotel, it may have been several decades ago, but not today. Rooms and furnishings are completely worn out and outdated (there were ants and stains in my Classic King room). Food and drinks are completely overpriced and underwhelming. The only good part about this hotel were the staff.
