This restaurant is very very bad!
Everyone should be careful!
They gave the rice is raw and not cooked at all! They were very hard to chew and stuck in my teeth.
The cashier had a very bad attitude. He had earbuds in the whole time and didn’t take my order correctly, and refused to give a refund or correct the order. He overcharged me! Horrible service!

Good shawarma, one of the bests in downtown Toronto. The mixture of fresh veggies in the wraps adds another level of taste. So far, this has been my favorite spot in the downtown area. Plus, if you’re a student, you’ll get a 15% discount. The quality has remained consistent over the years. One downside is their method of preparing the shawarma wraps. They assemble the wraps directly on a white stone surface and drag the bread on it. It would be much safer and healthier if they used a tray instead. Overall, I like it and would definitely visit more often

Pros: Very good shawarma restaurant. Excellent taste. Priced slightly higher than other stores in the market, ok value for money. Flavour is nice and zesty, rice is excellent, vegetables salad is very Fresh. I got the plate and was very happy with my choice!
An 8/10 restaurant.
Cons: I had my dinner inside, for 10 min, and when I left My clothing smelled strong food smell, even next day clothing still smell, hence i am updating my review the hood exhaust fan and ventilation is Not working well.

CASHLESS. I've been to the North York location and was looking for food after a night out. They are opened really late which is convenient (6am on weekends and 4am on weekdays). I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap which came up to $13 tax included. Portions were quite small as they measured 1 cup of chicken. Similar to my past experience, the wrap wasn't too flavourful.
I probably would not go back and nothing crazy to recommend.

Large filling portions but slightly pricey.
Tried both the beef and chicken platters. Compared with the food truck options at UofT, the sauces and meat are a lot better, but definitely more expensive for how filling they are. Veggies were decent and Baklava was not bad.
Overall its a decent late night option, but there’s better value elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience at Shawarma Max. First, the place looked far from clean, which was a real turn-off, especially since hygiene is so important when it comes to food. The quality of the meat was also noticeably poor—tough and lacking in flavor, nothing like the fresh, flavorful shawarma I expected.
What’s even worse is how they seem to treat their staff. I overheard one of the managers, Mustafa, speaking rudely to the employees. It’s upsetting to see workers being disrespected, and I've even heard they’re paid less than minimum wage. This kind of environment definitely doesn’t make me want to support this business. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Personally I am big fan of shawarma. Here, Shawarma wrap is not that much delicious. Though it is expensive in compair to other shawarma places. Open space, good location but parking issues. Paid parking available at little walking distance. Not crowded at all. Staff are friendly. One time try is okay.

Possibly some of the best shawarma I’ve had in my entire life. Every bite was sending me closer and closer to heaven but not in a death way more like an ascending to greatness way.
The seating itself is spacious and clean, no complaints on our parts. The atmosphere is relaxed and a great place to grab a quick bite!
