The hotel has a beautiful decor throughout. It is located right across from Xintiandi & right next to several very good malls with great food outlets & shops. Mr Johnny, Mr Stephen, Mr Andy give us excellent service & welcome us so graciously during our 10 day stay. Mr. Hardy & Mr James & Ms Tina & all the staffs at the Langham Club lounge are so hardworking & welcoming. Chef Lucky at the Club is so gracious & nice & prepares delicious food for us each evening. We really feel at home here at the hotel. We will stay here for sure if we come to Shanghai in the future.

We spent 8 nights at this hotel and it was absolute perfection in every possible sense of the word. ||The location is in Xintandi surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants and the subway (line 1 and line 14) is practically next door. ||Our room was a superior room on the 11th floor and we were able to check in early at 11:30am. The room was a great size and had everything we needed for our stay, the shower was incredible, as was the view and the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. ||We used the pool once, it’s really high spec and even plays music underwater. We didn’t use the restaurants or room service so can’t comment on that.||I’ve read a few reviews saying rooms are dated and completely disagree. Yes the fittings aren’t brand new, but everything is in excellent condition and clearly very well looked after.

My partner and I had a brief stay in Shanghai, in anticipation of our train trip to Lhasa. While we were there, we had the luxury of staying at the Langham Xintiandi. Our stay, while short, was fantastic. My Mandarin is below basic, at best, and the front desk shifted flawlessly into English. We arrived too early to check in, but we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel while we explored the city for a bit. When we did check in, our room was wonderfully appointed with a city view. The bed was super comfortable with firm mattress and fluffy pillows. The room felt spacious, particularly with a large bathroom, complete with standing shower that was large enough to contain a soaking tub. Counter space by the sink was ample. Staff was always polite and friendly. The concierge was able to help handle some items we needed delivered prior to our stay and recommended a fantastic restaurant to us for dinner. The lounge downstairs was comfortable whenever we had to wait there. And the front desk also was able to let us take a shower after we checked out but before we boarded our 2 day train to Lhasa. Special thanks to Fernando, at the front desk when we checked in, helping us navigate setting up our WeChat accounts, on and off the hotel WiFi, and recommendations for local restaurants for lunch.

We spent four nights at the Langham in a club room, which was perfect. The location in the Xintiandi area was ideal, with easy access to restaurants, the metro, and other amenities. The heated pool was a welcome respite during the winter months. The staff in the Club Room, particularly Zoe and Hardy, provided exceptional service and were lovely to interact with. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Club Lounge was prefect and atmosphere of Christmas in Hotel is very fantastic to me and my Children. I also very enjoy the afternoon tea buffet food such as sandwiches, cream tart and scone with orange jam. At last, thank the service staff James, Alice and Tina. They give us wonderful services experience.

Great welcome by the concierge that helped with my luggage. When I got to the reception, a young lady named Chancy Li helped me to arrange a nice room which I asked for and was very friendly. The room was comfortable and cleanliness was perfect. I like the coffee and tea selection in the room. Also the Christmas tree and decoration in the lobby is beautiful. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

Super convenient location right in the heart of Xintiandi. Front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger conrner room so that we would be more comfortable as we needed an extra bed. Special thanks to concierge Seven who helped us book our transport to the airport. He contacted me to make sure everything was ok, even though he was on leave that day. Amazing service, we will definitely come back to stay again.
