Şehzade Cağ Kebap

Juicy tasty affordable kebab. Very simple menu, either kebab in plate or wrap. Both are really nice. I went there two days in a row. Saw some locals there, they said this is the place he would come from new town just for the nice meat.

Hands down one of the best spots we ate at during our recent trip to Istanbul! The kebabs were so delicious that we ended up having 12 portions between two people. I’ll be dreaming about this place for a long time. The service was excellent as well.

Liked this place and the food. The service is very dreadful though so 3* overall. If you don’t care about the service, you should definitely try their menu which is quite small and it’s basically kebab, salad and soup. Next I’d try to get a delivery instead of talking to their staff.

Absolutely over hyped kebab place. Portions ridiculous - two thin and short slices of meat for 380TL 😅 = 11€… in Turkey where average minimum wage is 400€.. i read in other reviews it was 320TL few weeks ago, did hyper inflation hit Turkey? Wow I did not know 🙄🙄🙄 it’s targeted for tourists, locals can’t afford it. Since they got influencers on the bandwagon, they reduced the length of the meat apparently while increasing prices 🤡 ➕The meat does taste good. The ayran too. But the portions... Even a child would be hungry after that. ‼️What made me give * review is that they force you to take the salad plates, but they ARE NOT FREE! Please beware! I saw many customers getting angry when receiving the bill. Unpleasant experience. I was so hungry after my “‘meal”, ate another full dinner after that. If you want to feel scammed, left hungry 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is one of the most popular restaurants in Istanbul. I had it on my wish list for two years because I missed it during my last trip to Turkey in 2022. This time, I visited with 10 friends. They serve a traditional Çag kebab (Chagh Kebab), a famous dish from Erzurum, Turkey. The taste is amazing, authentic and fresh! The place is often crowded, so you might need to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The staff are professional, and they accept all types of cards. The prices are reasonable, especially for a tourist spot! The best part is that the restaurant is ♿accessible for people with disabilities.

Disappointing. A few bits of lamb on my first skewer tasted nice as slightly charred. The rest was just not up to par. Staff appeared disinterested in tourists but attentive to the locals, although they had to shout a lot to get attention.

I‘ve never had better & quicker service, I had a lentil soup and we shared a salad and the tomato dip was spicy, but very very good. All of the food was vegan and I really liked it. I paid a little more than 120 lira :)

unfortunately, didn't like your Cağ Kebap. Although I have been craving yours for a long time. I don't know how to describe it but felt like it was coated with old cooking oil. I have ate other Cağ Kebaps and yours come in 3rd Place in my personal rank. I was totally surprised because I heard you were the best in Istanbul.
