SEFTON Off-Price

WARNING: This shop has some nice things in it, but amazingly they have a no returns policy, which is unheard of in this day and age. Please be careful when buying anything from here because they will not warn you (like proper shops like Liberty etc do if you’re buying earrings/underwear). The manager is also extremely rude and self righteous, with no respect for his customers or his staff (who I found to be predominantly quite pleasant). I’m so disappointed because I’ve spent so much money in this shop and now I never want to come back. A truly awful, even somewhat traumatic experience fighting for my basic consumer rights.

I walked into the shop with my headphones in to see some t-shirts that were on sale. As I walked out, the owner shouted BYE BYE, which I barely recognised as being directed at me. As I continued to walk out, by this point I had one foot out the door, I heard him shout BYE, I'M TALKING TO YOU BYE. At this point, I turned to see if he was going to chase me up the street 😂 funny experience and wishing him the best I guess he was having a bad day 🤪

I really hate to write negatively about a local business but I had a bad experience. I bought an expensive coat as a present for my partner. Unfortunately, they wanted another colour so I went back to the shop to exchange. Because it had been just over a month, they refused to exchange the coat for another colour! I need to emphasise the coat was completely unworn with tags in brand new condition, and they refused to allow me to exchange it for the exact same coat in another colour. I honestly left shocked. This was not a small purchase for me and now I'm left with this super expensive (to me, anyway) coat that I now need to try and sell on. It's just unnecessary stress and terrible customer service.

Beware! They only offer exchange or store credit that expires in 12 months. Seems a bit greasy for a store that sells clothing. Not to mention, that many of the “off price” items are available at similar or lower prices online with a reasonable return policy.

Friendly staff. Good variety of premium quality stock but limited sizes available. Prices discounted from original RRP. Worth popping in for a browse at least, there's always a few items that will catch your attention.

Nice selection of brands, but items from previous collections sold at marked up prices. Incredibly rude staff — would rather physically walk into you instead of saying hi or just generally acknowledging your presence / offering any help. Won’t be going back.

Bought the goad Danish coat for 225 pounds (with original price 450) and owner was very pushy saying that it was a great deal. I have just checked price on official website and it is only 100 euro. Almost double difference, ALWAYS CHECK THE PRICE!!!

My wife and I came to your shop last Saturday. I walked in and immediately said "Well, we're not buying anything here as the prices are so high!" Amazingly we ended up buying an £80 pair of gloves! This was solely down to the sales skills of one of your staff - Ben. He had the perfect balance of offering help while not being pushy and we really felt he knew his products. Big respect We'll be back...because of Ben!

What a great stor! A good mix of brands, including the own brand Sefton range. Found my fiancé a great mac! Staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for me! Will defiantly be coming back.

I want to live here. I want to curl up amongst the squirrel T shirts and Alice in Wonderland dresses and nap for a while. I would then wake, bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to face the world again. I should have never have popped my head in here. They sell a variety of designers that make drool form in my mouth and trickle down my chinny chin chin. One of these is Eley Kishimoto, swoon. Seriously, I actually had to be dragged out the shop. Even with my zero budget I almost fooled myself that I needed something from here. Just a bag, a tiny bag. My bank would not even notice... would it?! I want all my Chanuka pressies from here. Just saying, in case you were thinking of buying me something. Get. It. From. Here.

Somehow the window displays of this shop always make it look a bit crap and unappealing. This is unfair because it actually stocks a really nice range of pieces from cool, mid-range/expensive designers and has friendly, helpful and attentive if often terminally bored staff. Clothes and accessories are well chosen from Paul and Joe Sister, Prairies de Paris, and McQ as well as the Sefton signature range which includes some great, classic leather bags. A great shop if you've got a bit of spare cash to spend on something lasting but fashionable. Also a good place for office wear.

This is a shop for boys and only boys. From streetwear to classic clothes. Quite expensive to very expensive but it's Fashion. Even if there are brands very famous like Sonia Rykiel , the models are not those you can find in malls. If there is a birthday in the air and you are a group of friends, go there and you won't regret it. The staff is really nice and very cool, if you need something or if you have a doubt , feel free to ask them as they make you feel very comfortable.

From the minimalist window Sefton has a real clinical feel but inside there are some great clothes. The clothes are are not High Street prices but this is no High Street store- the rails are full of cool designers including Paul and Joe's diffusion line Sister, Costume National and Vivienne Westwood. The fairly new label Twenty8Twelve (Sienna and Savannah Miller's label) also makes an appearance. A great place for window shopping but even better if you take someone with you so you can can show them your birthday wish list.

The selection of clothing at Sefton is eclectic. A.P.C., Acne, their own Sefton and some small numbers of other brands (Adidas, Commes des Garçons Play) form a range of clothing to chose from, which suits me quite well. Will come back. For sure.
