This place is amazing. 8CHF to enter and swim. Lovely deck area and hot showers etc. Such a great vibe with a coffee shop at the bottom. Plenty of seats. Bring your own towel and soap etc. feels very private and safe and secure to leave belongings on the deck. Enjoy swimming in lake Zurich!

Great place to sunbathe and take a swim at lake. Towels are available for rent, I paid for the rental plus a deposit that was returned to me after turning back. I also purchased a lock to leave my belongings in the changing area. You can buy food onsite. They have floating platforms. It’s really nice. Their website indicates water temperature and occupancy. It was a great time visiting during the summer.

It was extremely busy when we visited but it is a beautiful location to swim in Lake Zurich.

Utoquai is a peaceful and charming lakeside bath, offering direct access to Lake Zurich (no grass or stones). It's a quiet escape within the city. I love it! Ideal for "informal" lunches. Not recommended for families, although it has 2 springboards. And you can rent stand-up paddling boards.

The place is clean, the water is mostly as well. Simple container-style floater without much atmosphere but a good deck to sunbath. 3 stars as the staff, especially an older woman, was very unfriendly to everyone and showed her dislike of customers and disrespect of the same.

This place is a nightmare for both locals and tourists. It’s extremely crowded, making it difficult to enjoy your time there. On top of that, the behavior from the employees is downright unacceptable and impolite. Their attitude is atrocious, talking down to guests for asking simple questions, like how to use the jumping board (which, by the way, is inexplicably located only in the men’s. The staff act like you’d be inconveniencing them during their free time, making the entire experience unfriendly and unprofessional. The only saving grace is the gastro, which is decent—but it’s hardly worth the hassle. Overall, it’s a spot to avoid at all costs. Nust the most horrible experience I had ever in 15 years living in Zürich.

When you arrive at the ticket booth look for a monitor display posting the number of guests using the facility--we were there on weekday and weekend afternoons when guest count hovered around 750 people. Several hundred guests limit sunbathing space except out on the three floats out on the lake, which is where we stayed. There are lockers and you can pay a deposit for a lock, but we brought only towels (also available for a price) stuffed inside one of those free Condor Airlines duffel bags and nobody gave our stuff a glance. The staff was great and warned us at the ticket booth when things were super crowded and how unlikely it would be to find anywhere to spread out a towel. Signs are in German, so if you don't speak it well just remember that there are specific areas for genders. Most people wear swimwear, but clothing is optional.
