"This place is beautiful; so beautiful that it has got to be run by extra classy Europeans with great taste living in Miami. Their view, dock and surroundings are that nice, plus the food is delicious. It’s pricey, but definitely a place to go for a special occasion." - Hernan Bas & Pete Rozek
"There are two clubstaurants on the Miami River right next to each other, Seaspice and Kiki on the River. Choose Seaspice. It’s got better food (the menu is mostly seafood) and a slightly less insufferable crowd. You 1,000% need to make a reservation for the outdoor seating, or else risk getting seated inside the hideous dining room, which feels like a Red Lobster that took ecstasy. And even if you do sit outside, know that there’s a chance your waterfront view will be partially blocked by one of the many passing yachts that park here for a round of lobster and champagne. Maybe if you’re nice, they’ll invite you onboard." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino
"An iconic Miami dinner spot set on a dock with options for bottle service and sunset hours."
"Two‑Michelin‑star chef Giuseppe Iannotti presents an interactive five‑course Alba White Truffle Dinner that pairs artistic presentation with modern Italian techniques; each dish showcases the chef’s contemporary interpretation of Italian cuisine. Dates: Dec. 5–6 with reservations from 8:30 p.m.; reservations required." - Olee Fowler
"No one is really paying attention to the food at Seaspice, an expensive mix of pasta and seafood that's actually not as bad as you expect from a clubstaurant. Still, people here are more focused on the yachts blaring awful pop music that pull up and dock next to the outdoor tables. It's more a place to drink, maybe take a very small bite of a dish with the word "truffle" in it, and pretend you're alongside a charming canal somewhere in Italy (even though you're mere feet away from one of the most polluted rivers in Miami)." - ryan pfeffer
