Season Marais

My wife had listed the best breakfast places for our European vacation and we went to all of them. They were all really nice, but none of them were like a Turkish breakfast.

Service was good. People were nice. Food was mid to low. I wouldn't come back. I had the season bowl and a pancake. The pancake was cold. The season bowl had no flavor at all. No salt, no acid (like a lemon or vinegar), no sauce (like a salad dressing or oil). I think I paid 22€ The food looks pretty but it doesn't taste like anything.

For sure the best brunch we had in Paris. The best Benedict eggs I’ve haver had. The iced latte was also spot on! And even after having our stomach full we couldn’t stop eating those incredible tasty caramel pancakes.

This place was awful and terribly expensive for the quality. The food was completely flavorless. My poached egg was hard boiled. The gluten free bread is actually an untoasted oil hamburger bun? Why? There’s plenty of gluten free bread in Paris they could source. But there was literally no flavor on my food at all. As for cleanliness of the place, terrible. Water glasses were dirty, and the staff seemed to all be sick. Guy making coffee was coughing all over the coffee bar and into his hands, then proceeding to touch everything and make/serve coffee. Other wait staff were blowing their nose into used napkins with bare hands, replacing them into their pockets and then proceeding to touch silverware, set tables, and serve food. I actually regret eating here and spending money (€50 for two veryyyyy poorly cooked and unseasoned meals). I didn’t even finish my food that’s how bad I wanted to get out of there.

Heard many reviews of this place mainly positive. However, upon tasting the food I have to say that it’s just a bit overwhelming. The menu of course has many features and options that look tasty and healthy , but in reality food lacked a bit flavour. Service was super slow, it was only 9 tables at the time for 3 waiters to work. I understand, August is vacation period in Paris and people are relaxed - but still we came in at 10:30 and left 1 - solely because we had to wait for everything to arrive.

Fantastic place to take brunch in Paris, one of the best for sure! Amazing food with decent variety, quality service and generous portions. An example to follow! Will definitely come back for more! The only downside is that it is so good that it tends to be a bit crowded, but guess that's part of the charm, can't have it all.

honestly, i don't get why this place is so popular. the food is very mediocre and the staff's behaviour isn't exceptional. one of my friends found a spider in her salad and the waitress did not apologise! she did give her a refund but the lack of apology was shocking to us all. i was kind of embarrassed that i suggested this place. i thought it was going to be a nice one, since i always saw a large crowd inside but it wasn't.
