Sbigoli Terrecotte

A centuries old ceramics shop. Many beautiful and traditionally Tuscan pieces. Pleasant and helpful staff. They package everything very well. Worth a visit even just to look at the great work they do.

In Florence, a few steps from the Duomo, I discovered Sbigoli Terrecotte, which has been run by just two families since 1857. The designs here are more traditional and great value—all pieces are handmade in the back room. They produce beautiful works of art for your table and are happy to ship worldwide, my pieces arrived safely packaged in a timely fashion.

Besides having excellent pottery at reasonable prices, the packaging they do is very much worth it. Despite the severe damage done during shipping to the boxes, no damage was done. This group of pottery was our third purchase over the years. Great family also.

I will always recommend this shop. It's lovely, made with love and the family owners are adorable too. They made sure to pack do well everything I bought, it traveled safe and having few pieces from them warm the coldest winter ♥️

I loved visiting this store! There were so many beautiful ceramic pieces and you could see that in the back of the store that’s where everything was made. I bought an olive oil canister and a resting spoon and they were able to wrap them up safely in bubble wrap so I could get everything home safely.

My fiancé and myself stopped into this shop while strolling the streets of Florence - it caught our eye as a lovely little shop that makes hand-made terracotta, and it didn't disappoint. I bought a lovely wall decoration, and rather than carry it around Europe, I shipped it home myself through a local post office. Unfortunately, the piece was damaged during shipment, so I emailed the shop and asked if they could remake the piece and ship it themselves. They quickly responded and said they would be more than happy to do so. One week later, the piece was done being remade and shipped out. Less than a week after that, I had the piece, intact, at my home and am so happy. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for hand-made pieces!

We bought 4 large items from the shop in late August. We received them 10 days later in two very well protected boxes in excellent condition. We are very happy with each item and highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants quality handmade Italian ceramics at fair prices. We will be back again.

The best ceramic shop in Florence. Family-run artisans, very friendly, honest and professional. You can order personalised items or just choose among the beautiful in-shop rang. A must if you visit Florence or if you're just looking for a present.

I bought a plate here that was beautifully painted, and I'm very satisfied with purchase. There were many items here I wanted to buy, but didn't have the budget for. Will definitely revisit this place the next time I'm in Firenze.

We stopped by this lovely shop in 2012 and ordered all of our holiday gifts for the office from them (around 50 pieces). They were shipped to Philadelphia and arrived in time, were beautifully made and decorated. This is a wonderful place and we're delighted we found them!
