It’s an amazing place to re-set for the day or the week…the appointments help get me on track for conscious eating…or to detox in the ‘pods’ and/or get a quiet compression massage for solitude. Joseph & Darcy are so gracious and it’s a soul boost on the occasions I get to see Howie, the wonder dog! 🐶 Oh, and consider getting one of their packages…it helps me with scheduling. ✅👍🏼

I had the most amazing experience at Sauna Bar in Brentwood. I tried the lymphatic compression massage which felt like getting a massage from four massage therapist. It felt like a deep tissue massage working on pressure points. I love the fact they can adjust the pressure and personalize the treatment. I can’t believe how my pants felt looser after just one treatment. The magnus sphere was so relaxing, and I fell asleep within minutes. I look forward to seeing how I will sleep tonight. I will be back to try their infrared sauna pod, which I have heard so much about. I highly recommend this place.

The tension sometimes takes a tole on my shoulders, neck and jaw that even prescribed medication cannot solve. After I let them know what my intentions were of my visit (relax, de-clench if you will), it was recommended that I try the vibration machine (20 min) followed by an infrared sauna session (40 min). After my sessions, my body become so relaxed (jello state) that it even had my sinuses draining! Great place to de-stress and I cannot recommend this enough. Thank you SaunaBar!

If you have not experienced an inferred inferred-sauna before, Sauna Bar is the place to go. The staff is very attentive and insures every visitor has a great experience. I have tried several other Sauna places in the Los Angeles area but Sauna Bar consistently the best service and result. You will feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated after your visit.I highly recommend booking a secession for yourself and experience the feeling!! You will not regret it!

SaunaBar gave me the kickstart I needed for weight loss. I sought their services after I concluded that I needed help to lose weight after trying several times on my own and not succeeding. I lost 9 lbs after 4 weeks on the program, and Zone Healthy food services kept me on track with the diet. I didn't have a lot of weight to lose, so maybe that is why I didn't lose as much as others have. I did have stubborn belly fat after menopause that I wanted to get rid of, and it did substantially go down. The weight loss program wasn't "easy" but the vibration machine, lymphatic massage and infrared sauna were rewards that helped to counter the discipline needed in what I ate and how much water I drank. During the maintenance phase, I lost another 2 lbs, and I have been able to maintain that weight now for two weeks after completing the maintenance phase. Joseph and Darcy are the best and very supportive. I really enjoyed my experience at SaunaBar and I highly recommend their services!

I have found the relief I was looking for at Sauna Bar! I am menopausal and was searching for overall mental and physical well being. I have several symptoms and have been to many places... Sauna Bar, surprisingly, has been a ONE STOP SHOP for me because they have been able to help me with many of my menopausal symptoms. Joseph really listens to you, then offers suggestions, all you have to do is try... and let the treatments speak for themselves. I started with the Infrared Sauna, then tried The Lymphatic Massage, Vibration Machine, Magnesphere, and a few supplements. I have been going for 1 month and feel so much better! *PS parking is easy and they validate.

After trying so many different locations, finally I found SounaBar in my nieberhood and this location change my whole body and even more my emotion too. Trying this treatment helped me to tolerate my back pain and feeling more positive. The staff are professional and knowledgeable who explain all the details and answer questions in the simple word and understandable. Warm location with its of respect and passion. The business actually reached out to me and addressed my concerns. That is a win in my book. They are planning to offer a cup of water before and after the session which was more than what I hoped for. I think it's great that they actually care so much about what customers want. I will definitely be back to try their magnesphere! I'm not sure if I spelled it right but it's a pretty cool room where you meditate in a chair with magnets that emit subtle energy. 10/10 would recommend.

Definitely a unique and different experience than I've ever had! I'm typically not a fan of saunas due to the fact I have a bit of hyperhidrosis and I get light headed easily in intense heat. So, I was a bit hesitant at first to try the infrared sauna pod, but I ended up liking it! Stephani at the front was super helpful and definitely explained everything well and let me know about the process and how it works. Showed me what to do and that if I felt a bit overheated I could always open the pod to cool a bit. It was comfy and warm initially and about the 20min left mark was when I started sweating, it did get a bit uncomfortable to where I had to open the pod to get cool air a few times but in the end, I liked this much more than any other sauna I've been in. Was able to chat with Stephani after about the experience and it was all lovely! Super interested to try this again!

I came here having no idea what to expect. First things first I sign the waiver and am offered a glass of water. Ok I'm officially nervous. I am lead to the furthest room which has two suanapods inside and the people are so friendly and nice that I'm finally starting to feel excited. I have the whole room to myself which is nice. They spray this beautiful rose essential oil that I just can't get enough of. I change into comfy shorts and a comfy t shirt and In I go into my space suana-pod. It truly felt like I was taken to another planet. No cellphone or distraction just warmth radiating from the inside out, it was basically 40 minutes of forced meditation, which was sooooooo needed. I did leave feeling rejuvinated, relaxed, and ready for another session! They are great about answering all your questions and making the experience wonderful! Tip number 1- Don't forget to bring socks. It is mandatory to wear socks in the suanapod. Other clothes is optional. Tip number 2- valet park- it's only 2 dollars for an hour with validation

Wow this Place was amazing. I just tried their infrared sauna which essentially is a sauna pod that you lay in for about 45 minutesThe last 15 minutes is when you really sweat. You can feel it work with in the first session. The pods are very comfortable it's lined with jade, the place is extremely clean and a staff member, Stephanie, was very nice and knowledgeable. I'm told that tonight I should have a really good sleep, I'm really looking forward to that. Overall the experience was wonderful, will be coming back ! Next day update : Slept like a baby !!! Probably the deepest and most restful sleep I've had in years!

After having major liposuction, I desperately needed a lymphatic massage. I had been driving for 2hrs, my body felt like it was going to explode from the pressure of being swollen. I called SaunaBar, spoke with Joseph, he was so nice & understanding of my situation. I got in right away, the entire experience was AMAZING, from the ; 40min lymphatic compression followed by the 35min healing ultra Red Light Saunapod. Of course I left with an assortment of natural detox cleansers they sell. I feel great and I'm scheduling my next appointment! I cannot thank you enough SaunaBar! First time trying a lymph massage and sauna pod. I've had bad lower back pain for a month and its gone, totally didn't expect that. I tried every stretch, yoga, chiro, nothing worked. The lymph massage and sauna combo somehow did the trick!

Disclaimer: I came here as a part of Yelp's Elite week. The place is located on the second floor of Brentwood gardens behind the escalators. Upon walking in, the receptionists great you very familiar and ask you to fill out a waiver. They offered water while I waited. The waiting room is a little small with two chairs and a comfy bench but it didn't look like they needed more space. My appointment was for 130 and I came 10 minutes early as asked however all the pods were being used and I didn't get in until about 145. I asked for a bit of an explanation on what infared Sauna is and the receptionist did a pretty thorough job in explaining and went into further detail when we walked in the room. They were extremely nice and apologetic about me having to wait so no hard feelings there. Thankfully I didn't have an immediate appointment after so I wasn't late. The actual session was extremely soothing and relaxing. The process was explained very well and with science to back up the whole idea. I actually only sweat the last ten minutes or so so maybe a higher temperature would be better suited. After the session the I was offered water and explained what more services offered, there's quite a bit! For the infared sauna they tell you to bring clothes but you could wear as much or as little as you want. Just need to wear socks. The change of cothing is up to you based on if you want to wear sweaty clothing after or not. Overall, I had a great experience here and would definitely consider buying a package deal some point in the future. A great way to lose weight without the hard work! Parking: SaunaBar validates valet parking at Brentwood Gardens for $2 an hour after validation. (This is wonderful but maybe putting it in the appointment confirmation email would be helpful and prevent phone calls). Additionally you can also street park on San Vicente, Barrington, Montana Ave for free if you want a short walk.

I've been looking for infrared sauna services near me to help with stress and sleep. I found SaunaBar near me and decided to give it a try. I did both a 30min lymphatic drainage massage and a 30min infrared sauna. Here are some highlights of my time: Pros: - Reezah (sorry if I misspelled your name!) helped me throughout the entire experience and he was AWESOME! Easily the best part of my experience. He made sure I was ok with all the various settings and that I was feeling ok throughout my sessions. He both checked in on me and provided me space to relax. Shoutout to him and his attentiveness! - I liked how the lymphatic massage is only available for one person at a time so that you have the whole room to yourself - prices are very fair for the services ($70 per session, even lower if you buy a package of several) Cons: - there was one person before me and so I had to wait slightly pass my appointment time for my lymphatic massage. There are two beds in the room and I went in right after the person before me left. I'm not sure how they clean the devices since people are leaving and going in right after another. I noticed the person after me also went in right after me. I asked about their cleaning procedures and they assured me that everything was cleaned with industrial grade cleaners but I'm not sure when they have the time to do that. This whole process made it feel like a less personal experience for me since they have such high customer turnovers. - other than the services you paid for, they don't offer you anything else. You have to pay for your own water (this isn't provided for you for free), and towels aren't provided for your sauna service (Reezah was kind enough to provide one for my anyways when I asked, which I highly appreciated). If I had known towels weren't provided, I would have brought my own prior to the service. I've visited Luna, Body and Mind in Santa Monica prior to my visit at SaunaBar and I think it might have set some unrealistic expectations for me. Luna had set the bar high, and unfortunately, SaunaBar did not meet those expectations due to the Cons I've listed above. I get numerous towels, waters, and even cookies at Luna (maybe I've been too spoiled?). I MIGHT come back to SaunaBar due to the more competitive prices, but that's a MAYBE. ***Update: The manager, Darcy, was kind enough to give me a call upon reading my review and clarifying some of my points. They DO, in fact, provide extra towels when asked (even though I still think offering an extra towel already in the room just shows a next level care for the customer experience), and that they clean their lymphatic massage suits at the end of each day. You go into the massage suit fully clothed with socks on so that's why they only need to clean it at the end of the day. I myself found this point a little uncomfortable during COVID (and would personally preferred it wiped down after each customer regardless of being fully or not fully clothed), but the logic makes sense. They also used to provide water but don't now due to COVID.

I lost 20lbs working with the Sauna Bar. It is the only diet that has actually worked for me and I'm keeping the weight off. It was such a positive experience with the guidance of Joseph and his team. The lymphatic massage & sauna & the vibe really added to my well being. I'm now on the maintenance program with them & plan to do the diet 1 more time to shed the last 15 lbs. I'm beyond grateful to have found the Sauna Bar.

I recently went to SaunaBar for a Yelp Elite event and thought it was fantastic. I've never seen a place like this, honestly its just another reason why I love Los Angeles so much. There's always odd businesses around health and weight loss here and I am always game to try them. SaunaBar is a reinvented Brentwood location from its previous life in West Hollywood. Different name but same concept and technology. This is a spa like center that focuses on weight loss. Their Sauna pods are very high tech, imagine your head sticking out of a tanning bed looking pod but instead of tanning you, it makes you sweat and burn up to 400 calories in one session. The sauna pods are great for debloating, stress or if you're exhausted mentally. The technology is an infrared light therapy that detoxes your body from the inside out. Most traditional saunas make you detox from the outside only. Inside the pod, there are 440 activated jade crystals to align your energy and improve your healing. I would recommend buying a water or bringing your own when you go to do a session. You get very hot and you can't drink water during the session since your arms are inside the pod and the only thing outside of it is your head. I liked this - I think the two reasons why I wouldn't come here regularly is because its in Brentwood. I live in DTLA. And one session is $70. That's a lot of money on one sweat session. They have packages to buy but again, I live so far that it just doesn't make sense. If you live close and have the money to spend, I would probably try their 30 day program. The receptionist at the front told me she sees clients drop 15-30 pounds (that's over like 6 months though not one). Overall, thank you SaunaBar and Yelp for this experience! I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a new way to destress and feel better about themselves.

Got the luck to try this place through a yelp elite event- and THANK GOD. I went in feeling sore, tired and generally stressed (because let's face it, life is tough) and came out *sweaty* but happy, relaxed and feeling elongated and stretched. Chose to do a 40minute infrared sauna- which, for anyone who does not know, is a pod where your head is outside (important for me since I have claustrophobic tendencies) and infrared lights warm up your body slowly, you only sweat the last 10min). I recommend coming here! The staff was very welcoming, emails rapid to answer, and they could answer all my questions very technically which is a relief that they know their business. Coming back for the lymphatic massage! 4/5: I feel it could offer their clients water after the infrared sauna- came out slightly dehydrated.

Feels SO good to be in an infrared sauna again at Saunabar! I just love this place and my health has never been better! I do their infrared sauna as well as the lymphatic compression massage and I always see results. Some benefits include: detoxification, reducing inflammation, better circulation, weight loss, relaxation, and better skin. The staff is amazing and helpful and it's very clean and more than safe during Covid because you have your own room! Would love to give more than 5 stars if I could.

Listen up! I cannot say enough good things about Sauna Bar! I had been going for some time before covid and then it fell off my radar when I moved to the valley. Recently I woke up one morning and thought "I feel wrecked". Then I thought, "when was the last time I felt really good?" ....and that led me back to Sauna Bar. I loathe the term "self-care", I do. But ladies and gentlemen, we all know it, but I'm repeating now like a mantra "if we are not taking care of ourselves we are worthless to others". Lastly, I'll say this, there may be competitors, wanna-be's, you name it, but Sauna Bar is the original, it is it and the staff and proprietor are simply put THE BEST!

I found SaunaBar on Yelp, and I this was just an awesome start to my self care Saturday! Darci and Joseph (the founder) we're both at the front desk.... they are so lovely, and I intend to come back here at least once a month! I got a Lymphatic Drainage Massage and then used the Infrared saunapod (which is lined with jade crystals!!!) Laying down is sooooo much more relaxing than sitting upright in a sauna! Your head is sticking outside of the pod, & Darci used lavender essential oils on the towel near your face! So relaxing! I'm pretty sure I fell asleep I feel so refreshed!

This place has the most amazing infrared sauna pods. Your head is sticking out of the pod and you sweat out toxins as you are laying there, melting away stress and anxiety. Imagine burning fat by simply laying on your back. I'm also very claustrophobic and feared that I wouldn't be able to last 40 minutes in the sauna pod but I couldn't be more wrong. There is plenty of space to move around and you can lift the hood of the pod at any time. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep. I also love the lymphatic compression massage machine. It feels like two massage therapist working on me at the same time. I sleep much better since I started doing this service. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly, educated and helpful. I highly going to this place to reduce stress and anxiety.

Came here for a Yelp Elite event, and I'm so glad I was able to try it out. Sauna Bar is located in the heart of Brentwood, with validated valet right under their complex. The girl at the front desk was super warm and welcoming, as she explained the entire process to me. I felt relaxed during the duration of my 40 minute session, however the music was a little loud and I could hear bustling outside which awoke me from my calm state once in a while. Other than that I really felt the process released toxins from my body, being that I was very dehydrated post sauna pod. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it to the people in my life who need a breather, it's a nice calming experience away from the havoc of everyday life.

THERE IS PARKING AVAILABLE! There is a lot in the back parking lot solely for FBE clientele. It's off of Santa Monica and Westbourne Drive. And there are signs in the back for the mentally challenged to pretty much hold your hand and direct you to their space. It's AMAZING. You literally cannot get lost because the signs are bold and explain everything. Inside, the space is pretty clean and modern. The receptionist is beyond friendly. And her face is just so flawless. They have an alkaline filtration system, which is also available for sale. There is a room temperature spout too, which is NOT connected to a real sink, so please do not pour your water into it for there is NO drain. The pods are cool. I tried to meditate, but just passed out.. hehehe... It was a nice nap. There is a unisex locker room with pretty cool lockers that lock after you put in your own code. Overall, I had a good time, and would recommend it.

I thought I was going to feel uncomfortable and overheard in the pod, but it was sooooo good. It felt like a spiritual experience actually and I wanted to stay longer. Can't wait to go back. I forget to take care of myself like this, but I will not forget this feeling.

Came here as part of the Yelp's Elite Week. Sauna Bar located on the busy street of San Vicente, on the 2nd floor of a Brentwood shopping center. This is my first infrared sauna experience so I wasn't sure what to expect but sweat my behind off. I was welcomed by two wonderful ladies. I signed a waiver and was offered some water. I was then led to a room with sauna with a single pod. The pod had jade stones on the bed then she then proceeded to cover with two towels where I eventually laid. She explained how to get on and get off the pod, the cold control in case it gets too hot and the sections inside the pod that will be too hot to touch should I move my legs. Everything was simple and user friendly. I was given 42 minutes, 2 minutes to change clothes and 40 mins in the pod. I have to be honest, I passed out after 2 mins and woke up 5 mins before it was over. That's when I felt my upper body was dripping in sweat. I got up, wiped the sweat off and spoke to one of the ladies where she gave me their vitamin infused water. I did feel dehydrated and lightheaded after I got up and the water helped a lot. I felt relaxed on my way home. It's a great experience. I was advised to consume more water to help flush out toxins. I hope it does work. The Sauna Bar was clean, quite and very relaxing. The hostess' were wonderful as well.

I'm a loyal client for life! I've been coming to SaunaBar off and on for over a year, it's by far the best place for infrared or saunas in town. I went to another place called ShapeHouse that has infrared body bags; it was so gross and smelly at their facility and I got super sick while in their body wrap bags. It was too intense and Shapehouse smells like musty nag champa incense it was so overwhelming when you're super hot. Just more clarification on how superior SaunaBar is. What I love about SaunaBar is that the pods are safe and clean, it's not wrapping you in plastic and cooking you like the body bags (hot plastic is a known carcinogen), or a hot wooden room that absorbs everyone's sweat and can't be cleaned. The saunapods at SaunaBar are SO comfortable because your head is outside the pod, and you can tell the staff if you want your temp up or down so it's totally customizable. I also love that the pods are lined with jade crystals, so beautiful! Every time I'm there I end up napping the first 20-30 min, then start to wake up about 10 minutes before it's over. My stress levels are so low when I go frequently, I sleep great and wake up with good energy the next day. My happy number is 3 times a week. They have memberships and packages that make it super affordable for those that are serious about coming and WOW do I feel amazing when I do! They also have crazy space age machines like the magnesphere and lymphatic massage suits. I like that each therapy gives multiple benefits, so it's easy to take care of your body, detox, unwind, meditate, boost metabolism, and improve my skin all at once. I keep coming back because it's just the best! Staff are super friendly and know regulars by name, it's such a beautiful, chic, welcoming place. 10/10 stars across the board.

I started going to sauna bar because my Dr wanted me to detox my body. It has helped me more then I could have ever imagined. Not only does it help my body clean out, it has helped with my chronic back pain, my horrible headaches, and even my anxiety. Just got a chance to check out Sauna Bar for the first time! I was a little nervous to try it because I had never tried anything like it before but as soon as I got there, I was immediately relaxed. I got a chance to take a look through all of their services that they offer. I did the infrared pod and it was so relaxing and rejuvenating. Joseph is so helpful and soooo knowledgeable about all things holistic and healing! It was a great experience and the benefits of the treatments and services are great.

This place is a life-changer. As I get older, losing/maintaining my weight has gotten a lot tougher and I was getting down about it all. I spoke with Joseph and I got on the approximately three week program and I lost 14 pounds - it was strict but not that hard once I had committed mentally. I am now finishing the maintenance program (which is much less strict) and I have kept off the weight and feel great. I think the reason this works is 1) because you have the support of the team (Joseph, Darcy and Reza are just the best!!), 2) you check in regularly with them when you get your massage and sauna which keeps you on track, and 3) the massage and sauna feel great and must also help a lot with the weight loss. I look and feel soooo much better now that I have done the program and also feel great that I now know how to eat to stay at my ideal weight. This place is worth every penny and I am thrilled I found them! I can't say enough good things! I hope those of you on the fence will try this - you won't regret it. Thank you Joseph and team!

Had a great time using their sauna pod! It was a really relaxing experience. Had some headphones in and just listened to a bit of my audiobook with my eyes closed. The session lasts a little over 40 minutes. The gal told me I probably wouldn't start sweating until the last 10 to 15 minutes, and she was right. Make sure you drink water afterward.

My Lymphatic drainage massage today was not good. I've had them in the past and experienced wonderful results with one session. Sauna Bar's lymphatic machine is not the same quality as the Ballencer Pro machine used on my previous drainage massages. I didn't realize the machines are not the same quality untill today when no change occurred in my swelling, which is not normal! Totally disappointing and a complete waste of money!

This is by far the best sweat place I have ever been to! It was the most beneficial sweat ever they give you wireless headphones to connect to your phone everything is so clean ! I sweat so much felt so good and relaxed after Darcy is AMAZING !!! she explained everything so well made me feel so comfortable she made the experience GREAT I even booked another appointment thanks guys !

I've been going to SaunaBar for almost a year--I keep coming back because it is the best place for detox. I typically do the limph and follow that with the Saunapod. I'm so relaxed the entire time and it feels amazing! Darcy is usually the coordinator there, but I've also been helped by Joseph. Both are super friendly and professional and will answer any questions you may have . The facilities are always clean and tidy. I'd highly recommend checking this place out--if you want to detox or detach a little from everyday life. I like to meditate and release the stresses and negative energy from that week during my sessions.

Joseph and Darcy are amazing. I have lost over 10 lbs of stored fat in (3) weeks with a very doable program of diet and exercise. Joseph is amazingly knowledgable about healthy organic foods and services, including vitamins and skin products. Joseph has your back throughout the entire process and then some. Darcy is not only sweet but she is professional and takes excellent care of everyone. She coddles you from one treatment to the next. Saunabar is a clean and beautiful environment. Where to begin! I've tried almost every service at SaunaBar, and each one has been a unique, gratifying experience. Customer Service: 5 Stars You instantly feel welcomed by their lovely team at the front desk, who are knowledgeable about the services and great at giving you one-on-one attention. They were super patient when answering my dozens of questions about the science and benefit of each machine. Facility: 5 Stars It's an upscale, modern and chic boutique studio. It's clean, bright and white without feeling sterile. The pops of red roses are a really nice warm touch Lymphatic Massage + Infrared Combo: 5 Stars You start with the lymphatic massage compression suit which is a gentle rolling "squeeze and release" throughout the different regions of your body. This wakes up your lymphatic system and kickstarts the detoxification process before getting into the sauna. The lymph massage was 25 min, I was sprayed with aromatherapy and given an eye pillow to relax while they played spa music. Yum! I did not want this portion to end. The sauna afterwards was really cool because I was able to cleanse my body on a cellular level and still go about my day looking normal (you keep your head outside of the pod). You have 45 min in the machine so I recommend listening to a guided meditation (like the unplug app) or podcast. Magnesphere: 500 Stars I don't fully understand this technology, but my mind went into this DEEP relaxing state as if I meditated for hours. It left me in such a blissful and rejuvenated state. You have to try it for yourself and see what I mean :) Mineral Facial: 5 Stars My skin felt tighter and glowy after 1 session. I can't wait to try more and see the benefits after consistent use.

I have had the pleasure to work with Joseph for the past month. I am a weight loss skeptic but really needed the kickstart and was recommended by a friend. A lot of eye rolling was involved the first day, but I bought in and kept to the regimen. I exceeded my weight loss goal and currently am maintaining - the most important part. I found the instructions and the protocol Easy to follow, and Joseph's personal follow up with me to check on my progress was tops. I couldn't believe I was eating so little but feeling so satisfied. I (re) learned how to cook and to eat. This has gone on long enough to have become a habit, which is the cornerstone to success in weight loss - make life changes. Give this place a try!!! As a man from the south I'm always hesitant to try alternative ways of life. So when someone asked me to give an infrared sauna try, I was very hesitant. I immediately saw a difference from my skin, to my energy, to my sleep patterns all were vastly improved. Even getting personal, I noticed it easier for me to urinate indicating my prostate swelling to be reduced. I look healthier these days, feel happier and the red spots on my skin have been greatly reduced almost nothing. The staff at Sauna bar is so kind and caring. Joseph and Jourdan will always go above and beyond every time if you have a question about any of his products or just healthy living in general. I will always highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

The owner is incredibly rude. Rude on the phone when I called to make an appointment, he told me to go on his website instead of taking my appointment right there. Rude in person rushed me out of the room and knocked continuously.

I decided to get the lymphatic massage and was pretty perplexed by being put fully dressed into a body suit that did nothing more than expand and release like one of those blood pressure readers! I was very disappointed as I prefer a massage on a table by an actual person. I'm giving 3 stars because facility was inviting and room was relaxing with good scents and calming music but if you come here expecting a traditional massage you will be highly disappointed!

I really love this place. I have been taking classes with Jessica on Wed night and it has been really great for me. I honestly feel like I have less cellulite the next day. The class Jessica teaches is 30 mins floor work, and 30 mins on the vib machine. Then I usually do a 30 min infrared sauna after. I now love my Wednesday nights! I really should join as a full member to go more often. The staff is fantastic. Super nice and knowledgable. It is clean and pleasant to hang around. It makes working out less of a chore.

SaunaBar is my spa to go for holistic wellness and health. Thank you to the Founder - Joseph for bringing the state-of-the-art Infrared Saunas to Los Angeles! I needed this. I've had friends talk about being wrapped up like a mummy, but that seems suffocating to me. And I've tried dry saunas at the gym, but cannot tolerate breathing in the heat. I'll have every intention of sitting in a dry sauna for 30mins but end up walking out in 5. I googled "Sauna bed Los Angeles", and Sauna Bar is on the first page. I love their beautiful modern website. Easy to read, very informative and simple to cruise thru. I immediately booked the "One week unlimited Infrared Sauna for $199" deal. So easy to sign up w/ a click of the button, and easy to book appts online!!! Love this. I do not like when other offices call to confirm, or they ask me to call back, etc. I'd rather do everything online. Easy to manage my schedule. And they confirm thru email which is perfect. Joseph told me they have the SaunaBar App. (the average person looks at their phone 74x's/day). So this is a big plus. SaunaBar has a beautiful ambiance. Elegant design, serene and calm as soon as you enter the door. The staff is wonderful and always happy to help you have a relaxing experience. For the Infrared Sauna - I wore shorts, tank and socks required. Laid down into the pod w/ my head breathing fresh air. The bed is lined w/ 440 jade stones. They set the timer for you, and you can adjust the heat to your preference at anytime. 40mins of an awesome "clean sweat experience"! The first 10mins was amazing heat. I love heat! At the 20min mark I was sweating beads. Felt cleansed. My heart slowly increased, so you can tell I can really feel it working - burning 600kcals, ridding toxins, improving my circulation... everything. The 440 jade stones are a powerful healing component AND Infrared red light technology penetrates up to 10" into the exterior epidermis, recharging and rebuilding at the cellular level. I can't wait to try the Lymphatic Compression Massage and the Magnesphere. Had an amazing experience every single time I was here. Who doesn't love pampering themselves? I immediately booked the Glow Membership. It's perfect bc now I can go for the Infrared Sauna, and/or try out the Lymphatic Massage or Magnesphere. Now I'm a happy member of SaunaBar. My girlfriend Katrina and I did the HCG program along with the sauna pod, lymphatic message room and Vibe machine for 23 days - we followed the plan and Kat lose 28 lbs and I lost 12 lbs (results differ depending upon how much you have to loose!! We went on maintenance and lost a few more pounds - and have maintain our new weight for a month now. This program is completely doable - the lovely Joseph and Darcy are two of the most knowledgeable and supportive people you could work with on a new healthy program!! We have changed our eating habits, feel great, and most importantly (other than loosing the stored fat so quickly) but we did feel like we were sacrificing!! I purchased a groupon deal for FBE, for the infrared treatment. The center is very clean and is in a great location across from La Brea tar pitsJoseph there was very kind and showed up around. He let us try the vibration exercise machine for 7 minutes. The vibration machine was pretty interesting, you balance while a machine shakes you to lose weight. It made me cramp in the stomach while I was on it, which I took it as good focused exercise. I was a bit disappointed that I was not sore or tight in the stomach the next day.. Infrared clients: DON'T FORGET TO BRING 2 LARGE TOWELS! There was a note on the Groupon, but I didn't notice it and didn't get a reminder when I made the appointment. If you forget towels they charge you $10 to rent their towels. The Infrared treatment was in these cocoon like machines. Before going in I asked if my eczema would be a problem and they said that it should help. After the treatment I had these red rash areas and hive like bumps. I showed them my skin and they shrugged it off as if it was normal. It has been 3 days since treatments and I'm still covered in the tiny bumps. The place is pretty expensive month to month is $299 to use the facilities. One year commitment is $199 a month. They also have a chiropractor and acupuncturist which are $150 each or with membership $100. Plus there is street parking and they take spa finder gift certificates. Expensive for my budget and a bit of up-selling. The other reviews look highly suspect: no profile picture, no friends and one review each.

Sauna Bar and Joseph Harounian have helped me drop 20 +lbs and keep it off! I have never been so satisfied with the results of the HCG diet. My lifestyle and eating habits have changed dramatically, I have gained an enormous amount of confidence and the results have not worn away! I Did the 20 day HCG cleans in May and have never been so happy with the results, EVERY SINGLE PENNY I SPENT ON THIS DIET WAS WORTH IT!

This review is long overdue ! Kudos to Joseph the owner and his team for finally bringing wellness via a holistic spa approach to Brentwood. I originally had searched on Yelp for far infrared saunas in los angeles when I found this place. Sauna Bar has the best infrared sauna pods that I have found in LA. Their saunas utilize not only far infrared but also near-infrared which is even more healing and better for detoxing. I was pleasantly surprised that they also offer lymphatic compression massage and natural homeopathic HCG diet. I have not started there holistic weight loss program yet. I will be posting updates once I do. Their new location in Brentwood is beautiful and convenient. There is valet parking at Brentwood Gardens and it's only $1 an hour with validation. I have been getting excellent service at Sauna Bar. This holistic wellness and spa bar has been amazing for my health and wellbeing. Sauna Bar has state of the art technology for detoxing and reducing stress which I have not found at other places. The infrared sauna bed is simply amazing. It not only got rid of toxins in my body but I burn a few hundred calories in every session as well and it's so relaxing. Lastly this spa is classy and elegant with a feeling of calmness as soon as you walk in. It's such a soothing and relaxing environment you will never want to leave. Staff are gracious and very friendly. I look forward to get started on their weight loss program in January and will post updates here.

I went to Sauna Bar for the first time today, and I have to say, they have the most amazing staff! Everyone there is super friendly and helpful!! I have Psoriatic Arthritis, which is very painful, it causes me to be very stiff, and makes it difficult to walk. I walked in using my cane, in severe pain, and did my first sauna pod session, and I have to say (to my surprise) it helped my pain, and it really helped my stiffness! I was able to walk out a lot better than I walked in, and could've managed without my cane! I can't wait to go back and try the "magnesphere" which is apparently also made to treat lots of medical conditions, and is supposed to help with pain too! Highly recommended this place!! I will definitely be going back for another visit!
