Ordered lumpia, siopao, pancit canton, pork sisig, garlic rice, atsara, and smoked adobo wings. Lumpia - classic pork shanghai. Filling was good, but kind of on the sparse side. Still - wrapper stayed crispy during travel in plastic container. Served with sweet chili sauce. Siopao - Ordered one pork to split. It was one of the larger ones and perfect for splitting. Would skip. Barely any filling. 1/3 of the bread/pastry was very hard. Likely microwaved to steam and was in for too long. Pass. Panict canton - Classic preparation. Nothing bad but also nothing stand-out. I think it comes down to whether or not you like canton or bihon style. Pork sisig - YUM!!! Perfect mix of onion, spices, pork bits, and vinegar. Served over rice! Only thing I wished is that there was an option for just sisig and not an "over rice" meal. Garlic rice - Only jasmine on the menu as a side. Requested garlic. Fried garlic topped over jasmine in over containers. Kind of surprised true garlic rice isn't an option, HOWEVER, I so appreciated them reading my note and adding the garlic. Attention to detail was great! Atsara - "Pickled" veggie condiment. AMAZING. Well-balanced! Sell by the jar please! Smoked adobo wings - Kind of pricey per wing, but the flavor profile is spot on. Really really good. I wish we took pictures of everything but we just kind of dug in because we were so hungry! On another note, I added that we had a shellfish allergy and between the bagoong and other sauces used in cooking, one person in our family had ZERO allergic reaction, so I believe this was taken very seriously. Kudos to everyone there for that! Would absolutely return to repeat some dishes and try new ones.

This is our first time dining in here and I must say the food was amazing! The service was exceptional and the restaurant itself had a nice touch of Filipino culture. We ordered the pork on a stick, fried chicken and bangus fish all were delicious and the flavors were amazing! I also order the halo halo smoothie and that was out of this world! Thank you for now making it tooo sweet. The sweetest was just right for me! For sure, we will be coming back here again❤️👏 I didn’t get the chance to take a photo of the chicken & the halo halo.

I forget exactly what we ordered, but the pictures can speak for themselves! Part of me wishes the portion sizes were larger, though I also have a rather large appetite.

One of the best Filipino meals I've had in a long time. My friends and I ordered the sisig, kare kare, sinigang, and lumpia. We also all had the kalimansi cooler and halo halo. Everything was amazing. Excellent execution, bold flavors, and big portions -- what more could you ask for?! The service was also excellent. The woman behind the cashier was very friendly and kind. 😊

**Ate on September 20, 2024** Food & Drinks - We got the Lumpiang Shanghai as a sharable appetizer between four people. While the taste was delicious and the texture was crispy, there was definitely more to be desired in terms of the size. Each lumpia could be finished in two bites (or less) and for $8.50, it didn't seem too worth it unfortunately. - This was my first time trying calamansi juice! The flavor was reminiscent of a mandarin orange but more aromatic and fragrant. The sweetness of the drink helped to cut through the richness of the food and served as a great palette cleanser. - It was also my first time trying Ginataang Gulay, a hearty vegetable stew cooked in coconut milk with a generous amount of crispy pork belly on top. This was cooked to order as it took around ~20 minutes but it was totally worth it. The pork belly was crispy and cooked to perfection and complimented the creamy vegetable stew. Service - The guy taking our order was friendly and promptly brought the food out to us. All of the food is made to order, so it may take a while (for us, it took about ~15-20 minutes), but it was worth it as the dishes came out fresh and hot! Ambiance - Plenty of seating and self-service for getting water, utensils, and putting away your dirty dishes. There's a small cozy alcove with board games as well as a small marketplace with snacks and desserts! As someone who has tried a small subset of popular Filipino dishes, I was really excited to try more Filipino cuisine in the area. Overall, I loved all the dishes that I tried and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to try unique dishes!

We checked this out because I was looking for Filipino food. This took about 15 min to get our food. It's kinda quiet in there. It's get to go there with family We got Lumpia, sisig, adobe wing, Kare kare, pineapple cooler. I love the lumpia and adobe wings. Those were my favorite thing. It's like a snack you eat after work. The sisig and Kare kare was not my favorite with the peanut and his greasy it is with the fat. I love how refreshing and sweet the pineapple cooler is.

I saw it on social media, looks appealing, they even have isaw?! Yum!! I'm sold!! Let's go!!!! So we went, but Boy Oh Boy! The isaw was on their menu but it's not available. What a bumber!!!! Well, we still ordered food, so we ordered Halo Halo Smoothie, Pancit Canton, Lumpia, and Pork Bbq. Maaan the only item that stands out was the halo halo smoothie and to my surprise it's from Aunteaboba! The pancit canton wasn't your typical canton that we know, it tasted like they own an oyster sauce shop... that much and it's overwhelming tbh. Their lumpia - ehh it was okay. The pork bbq - guess it was okay too. Nonetheless, it was mediocre and very expensive VERY EXPENSIVE food. I was disappointed overall. Let's move on with all these social media hype! Not worth it IMO.

Suuuuper yummy! We got the turon with ube ice cream. The plantain's are so crispy and the ube ice cream pairs really well with it! The service was so friendly and quick. The atmosphere of the place seems really nice and chill as well. Will definitely be coming back to try their other foods!

This best has the best lechon kawali in NOVA. Staff are super friendly and their halo halo is super unique and delicious. The pancit was a meh for me but I return for their lechon kawali. Weekday or weekend, seems like this business is always busy so that's pretty telling about their food.

They have actual Filipinos working there and running the operation but I just can't say I was very satisfied with my meal or the menu selection. In all fairness to them, I didn't try any of the fruity deserts which was what everyone was eating and seemed to enjoy. If I were to ever go back I would try a fruit based dish. As for ambiance, they were in a strip mall and with many young people inside, which isn't a bad thing. I'm just trying to describe the ambiance. Lastly, it would have been nice to have a San Miguel but they don't sell any alcohol.

50 YEARS OLD -- FIRST TIME EVER REQUESTED A REFUND AT A RESTAURANT. My wife & I shared an entre. We *both*, *separately*, *each* found a hair in our food. The color, length, and style did not match us -- is was clearly from someone with shorter/"male"-length hair who had black/dark brown curly hair. When we saw the cook, it matched his hair. He was not wearing a hairnet. A fly also landed on my food. In the waiting area, there was an unplugged bug zapper. It's like they know they have a bug problem, but can't be bothered to plug in the bug zapper. They also couldn't be bothered to set their television to a channel. Places that put TVs up on the walls do this so people can be entertained, not so we can look at the Roku TV menu. The cashier talked loudly on her cell phone so that basically, we went to a restaurant to hear loud cell phone conversations while pulling hairs out of our food that a fly landed on. At one point I commented to my wife, "I know when I go to a restaurant, it's to listen to people talking super loud on their cell phone." The cashier would disappear so we'd have to wait minutes at the front desk for extra napkins (4 napkins isn't really enough, and they don't trust us to take our own napkins i guess). In my 25 yrs of living in Annandale, this is only the 2nd time I won't be returning to a place. The other time was 20 years ago, I found a claw inside a cheeseburger in a now-shut-down local burger joint which later became a Starbucks. So yeah. This is one of my 2 worst local eating experiences in 25 years, and in 50 years the first time I've walked out of a restaurant. also: the cole slaw or whatever it was was just carrots in vinegar. It was the most vinegary awful slaw ever. The cucumber & tomato "side-salad" was just a cup of vinegar with cucumbers in tomatoes in it. They are my favorite vegetables and I couldn't even get through it because it was like drinking a bottle of vinegar, what the heck. The eggrolls were delicious, but tiny. Like 1/4th the size of normal eggrolls. Not what you get when you typically go to a restaurant. They are what you get when you buy "mini-eggrolls" on amazon. Maybe the slaw/salad/eggrolls were Filipino-authentic, but if this is the way they prepare those items over there.... I'm going to avoid Filipino cuisine. Which would be the first cuisine I ever avoid. I have a feeling, though, that the culprit is this individual restaurant, not an entire culture.

Casual and super delicious Filipino food in Annandale, the place has very homey and chill vibes. As with a lot of Filipino places, they specialize in their delicious meat dishes! For appetizers, we got: The Lumpiang Shangai (Crispy Pork Egg Rolls, they're rolled thin so you get a plentiful amount), and the Filipino Street BBQ Skewers (Grilled Pork Belly glazed with sweet savory soy sauce, suuuuper tender and delicious!), which were my favorite! For the mains we got: The Smoked Longganisa (Sweet Pork Sausage, sweet savory & juicy!), the Smoked Tapa (Soy-garlic marinated Beef, savory with bold flavors), both came with rice and a fried egg, akin to the way it's traditionally served in Filipino breakfasts. Sari's definitely is one of the more well-known Filipino places and NoVA, and they deserve the recognition for sure!

The interior is very cute and has a more casual vibe. I got the beef stew, which I wasn't a huge fan of, but my friends pork belly dishes were really good! The lumpia was crispy and tasty as well. I think I'll go back again and try their other dishes.

This is located in the shopping center with Giant, so there is plenty of lot parking. They used to share a space with a bbq place, so one of the signs still reflect it. However, the main sign you can see from the street is actually for the restaurant. You get to choose your own table and order at the counter. It's single stall bathrooms, but they are pretty spacious and relatively clean. My friend and I ordered the Lumpiang Shanghai, Sisig, and Pan De Ube (6 rolls). The Lumpiang Shanghai are crispy pork egg rolls served with sweet chili sauce. It was pretty good and fried well. The Sisig is crispy pork hash with garlic, onion & chili. It was a filling portion and tasted good. Soy sauce is provided on the side of you want to mix it in. The only thing I felt it lacked as an entree was the low amount of vegetables although I don't think it usually comes with a lot. The Pan De Ube is stored in the fridge beside the counter, so you can grab it after you pay. The bag of 6 was heavy, mainly due to the filling which I'm happy to say there was a lot of. The filling was more thick than creamy and the roll tasted like a Hawaiian roll. As a result, it was a bit on the sweeter side but not extremely sweet. It tasted pretty good. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back to try more of their dishes.

Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The service was extremely quick, everyone was so nice. The food was some of the best Filipino food I've ever had. I want to come every week but it's a drive for me. Everyone do yourself the biggest favor and eat here!! The bbq pork belly skewers are caramelized to perfection. The sinigang with brisket was tangy, rich, and smoky due to the meet. The brisket was excellent and they load it with meat. The Singang soup can also be ordered vegetarian ( I came back And did this- woohoo!) Lechon Kawali was so clean and fresh tasting. And the lumpia were delish . Easily one of my new favorite spots !!

The food was made quickly and good all around. Just a minor qualm, I didn't get any atchara with any of the 3 bowls I ordered so was a bit disappointed when I got home...

This place was okay. I like the pancit, but it was a little on the salty side. The lechon was great, crispy, and perfect all around paired with the Mang Tomas **chefs kiss. Now the lumpia seemed a little store bought not much flavor in them but still good. Compared to my inlaws, fillipino food and others I've had, this place was good. Does the job for the fillipino cravings we had.

Thank you to Chef Paolo and the team for making my husband's birthday extra special! With a large family, deciding what to bring to potlucks or where to celebrate special occasions can be overwhelming. Thankfully, my worries were solved when I discovered the Sari Fiesta Tray. It comes with lumpia shanghai, pork BBQ skewers, lechon kawali, lechon manok, brisket, bangus, smoked tapa, smoked tocino, smoked longganisa, and cucumber tomato salad, all conveniently packaged in a box for an authentic boodle fight at home! The tray claims to feed 6-8 people, but it actually serves 6-8 people with leftovers for three days. At $150, this was a great deal. I ordered a box online, and even picked some banana leaves from my parents' backyard (we're THAT Filipino, y'all) to set up a feast on our dining room table. The box was devoured by my family, with the brisket and tapa being our favorites. The presentation was fantastic, and even my picky parents were impressed. My only suggestion to the restaurant is to package the cucumber tomato salad separately to prevent the rice from getting soggy. This reminded me of the innovative Filipino BBQ restaurants I visited in California. I'm thrilled to have something similar closer to home.

I was excited to try this new Filipino restaurant in the Northern Virginia area. I went for lunch recently for the first time. Unlike other Filipino restaurants in the area, the food is made to order, which is amazing. We ordered Brisket Kare-Kare, Sisig, and Pineapple Cooler on the counter. The food was delicious and the servings were quite generous. I was expecting the food to be served on dine-in containers, but we were given eco-friendly containers, which I think isn't ideal for saucy dishes like the Kare-Kare. Overall, the concept is great - the food and service are excellent, but I wish I had a better experience with dining in.

Top notch customer service, clean facility, and great food = future repeat customer! They treated our family like their own. We ordered the Sari Fiesta Tray. The lumpia shanghai was crispy, pork bbq skewers, lechon kawali, lechon manok, brisket, bangus, smoked tapa, smoked tocino and smoked longganisa all flavorful. The cucumber tomato salad evened out the richness. This will be "go to" when needing a break from cooking at home.

Sari is a relatively new fast causal Filipino cuisine in Annandale. We called the day before to order the sari fiesta tray for a big family gathering ($150), which is the ultimate sampler platter. It comes with the lumpia Shanghai, pork bbq skewers, lechon kawali, lechon manok, brisket, bangus, smoked tapa, smoked toncino, smoked longganisa on a bed of rice and a side of cucumber tomato salad. There was a lot of food, and I think it can serve at least 8 people easily. Everything was delicious! My favorite was the lechon kawali. Would love to go back and dine in next time!

Came here with a bigger group for lunch this past Sunday and there were lots of mixed reviews about the food. Also, some of my friends who ordered earlier did not get their food until many minutes later (yes, later than the friends who ordered later and the same entrees, too). So, it seems pretty inconsistent? The great thing about Sari is that they are able to accommodate big groups with their cafeteria style tables (you also order and pay at the front and they will bring you food). Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I wasn't super pleased with what I got. ADOBONG MANOK - 16 Yes, I wanted to be basic so I got the chicken adobo. The chicken portion was big and it also came with lots of rice on the side. The chicken was smothered in sauce with lots of garnishes (garlic and green onions). Looks and smell wise, it was amazing. Taste wise? It was just OK. Parts of the chicken were really dry and the sauce wasn't my favorite. I prefer a more savory sauce, but this one was more on the vinegar/sour side. Overall, I enjoyed the simplicity of the chicken, but the sauce can definitely get overwhelming (and again, the chicken is legitimately drenched in the sauce). I wouldn't get this again. A few of my friends got the SISIG, which I heard mixed reviews about. 2 of 4 of the friends who got that enjoyed it, but the others did not. My friend who got the KARE KARE with brisket did not really like his entree as he felt like the brisket was too dry. The sauce was very "peanut-y" with a lot of smoked and BBQ flavor and strong after taste, but we didn't enjoy that combination. My friend who got the SMOKED TOCINO thought it was just OK as the sweet marinate was good, but the pork was extremely dry. However, my friends who got the SMOKED LONGGANISA really enjoyed their entrees and thought the pork sausage was tasty and super tender. Maybe that is the move for next time. The desserts looked promising (lots of ube flavored items like ice cream and cakes). If I come back, I'll definitely get one of their desserts. But unfortunately, our first time experience was more of a letdown.

Sari was highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. It's a casual spot, where you order and pickup at the counter. Staff is friendly. There are plenty of tables (though the chairs are quite uncomfortable) and it's cute inside. It was busy when we went but our order was ready quickly. We ordered the lumpiang Shanghai, lechon kawali, and pancit Canton. Everything was good. The lechon was super crisp and I loved that it was served with rice and salad. Lumpiang was tasty. Pancit was delicious with plenty of vegetables. I also appreciated the atchara. I wish the sauces were a bit bigger. I'm looking forward to returning to try the adobo chicken and an ube dessert.

Food is delicious! It's not 100% Filipino but it's pretty good for USA Filipino food. Portions are good, it's like $15-$20 a dish, which I guess is expensive but due to Covid I think it's unavoidable. Even chipotle & McDonald are $15+ now a days It's kind of like a take out, order and grab your own food kind of place so there isn't much service. The staff there is nice but it's not a service/waiter brings your food kind of place. Decor is cute, nothing Instagram worthy (like walls of flower or cute neon lights) but for the price, portion, food quality, definitely worth a try. I would definitely go again! Personally, I love halo halo. The halo halo smoothie isn't the same as a halo halo. The bubbles in the smoothie aren't the beans, jelly, etc you get in halo halo. Its just smoothie bubbles you get at any bubble tea place. This was kind of a disappointment but again, it's because I was expecting halo halo from the Philippines or even like the one you get at Manila oriental market in Springfield or from Filipino global supermarket in falls church.

Before I dive into this review, I'd like to add a caveat that I'll try my best to not compare this to my mother's dishes. Because we all know how that could go! Okay, let's get into it. Ordered the food to go online using their website, not UberEATS because UE's prices are much more expensive. Got a receipt and a time to go pick it up. I walked into the restaurant and there was plenty of seating for some casual dining. Some tables were for small parties, others for larger. The restaurant had, what I assumed to be, pictures of the owners and some Filipino decor all throughout. Lovely place! By the time I got there, they had just finished packing my order. Took it home and took all the photos you see below. My wife ordered the Kare Kare and veggie Lumpia. For the cross-section, I had no choice but to take a bite. What was I supposed to do?! It was yummy. Momma would be proud. Next up, feeding the boy. I made up a plate for him with rice and longanisa. He did ask to try some Pancit Canton. The pancit was topped with chicharon, which ended up getting soggy (and chewy) from the heat and moisture. I think it would've been better fresh with the chicharon giving a nice contrast of texture. It was good, but I'd probably pass on it in favor of other choices on their menu. Back to the longanisa, it came with rice and a fried egg (rightfully so). It tastes like Sunday breakfast, can't ever go wrong with that combo. It came with 4 links in total, topped with cucumber and tomatoes, and again the fried egg. Great job on the longanisa dish! The lechon kawali also came with rice and cucumber/tomato. On the side came sarsa de lechon and vinegar. Only thing that would've made this dish better was if the kawali was fresh off the cutting board. 8/10! Lastly, the kare kare. On paper, this sounds like a home run. The smokiness of the brisket doesn't play well with the bagoong or the kare kare itself in my opinion. The sauce/stew was also thicker than I had expected. Not sure if that's a byproduct of the fattiness from the brisket or if it just needed more water. Overall, I think this is a great little restaurant, but there are some dishes that are too different from my expectations that I could recommend given what I'm comparing it too. Keep up the great work!

We have wanted to go here for soooo long, and I'm excited we finally got the chance. The food is very good! We ordered a ton - the smoked adobo wings, sinigang with pork belly, kare kare with brisket, bangus with liang, and sisig - and everything was delicious. The flavors pack a punch and are not watered down for American tastes, and that made me super happy. The sinigang was intense! The highlights for me were the super soft brisket and the coconut kale in the bangus. Overall, really great good!

It's the last weekend of Filipino American History Month, so I'm supporting one more Filipino business. Lechon Kawali Kare-Kare from Sari Filipino Kusina in Annandale combines two of my favorites. This dish was loaded with savory deliciousness! The only thing I didn't like was they gave me paper plates and plastic utensils. Kare-Kare really should be eaten on real plates and with real utensils. Enjoyed the food, though, and I'm looking forward to trying other items of their menu.

I'm sari that I went here... We came here during dinner time. The setting of the restaurant felt homey and was a good representation of the Philippines culture, which I really appreciate. The customer service wasn't great tho.. I didn't feel welcomed from them, not for sure if it was a bad day but already to a rocky start... We ordered the Smoked Adobo wings, Filipino Street BBQ Skewers, Sinigang, and (something else. I did not recognize the name and the order is no longer showing in the menu online. sorry guys!) The Adobo wings did not taste like Adobo at all. Might as well take out Adobo and just put Smoked wings. DO NOT choose brisket for Sinigang. The two did NOT go well together. I'm not for sure if we ordered the wrong things? But, I think this is a poor representation of Filipino food. Please enlighten me what the best dishes are to order here. But, I don't think I would come here again.

On the way back home from DC, we stopped here based on a friend's recommendation. They didn't disappoint. Great place! Wish we had one in Raleigh! At first glance, we could tell this was a family owned restaurant. They keep it very clean. Good customer service. The menu is simple, but the food is pretty good. The fried chicken and adobo wings are on the well done side, but the flavor is good. The pancit palibok is good. Full of meat and flavor. The lumpia Shanghai is nothing special, but solid. The lechon kawali is outstanding! Very flavorful! The bbq skewers are amazing! Best thing on the menu! Order lots! We ordered just right with no leftovers. Then we got dessert. The halo halo smoothie is the best halo halo I've ever had. It was a perfect combination. It's like a taro smoothie with all the goodies of halo halo. Then, the turon with Ube ice cream I was told is amazing! Unfortunately, my family ate it all before I got to try. We'll visit again, next time we pass through!

Very disappointed with the food. Sisig is not too passable, adobo wings were too sour and unbalanced, and NO GARLIC RICE? my Filipino friends were confused. Will say lumpia were crispy and solid and halo halo milkshake was yummy. Otherwise, give Kamayan fiesta in falls church a shot. Cheaper prices and better food.

Excited to try this place out so we drove 20 mins to a strip mall in Annandale. It's mostly self service. Food was served in disposable wares not a fan. Pricey considering the quantity of food. We paid $87 for sinigang, sisig, laing and lechon kawali. Nothing stood out for me.

I came across Sari in an article and as someone who's had a good amount of Filipino food, I know I had to try it. All orders go through the counter and is prepared for you (instead of being a turo turo). You can also place your order online so we opted for that since we were just passing through the area. We got the Lumpiang Shanghai, Smoked Tocino Ribs, and their Filipino Spaghetti. Food only took 20 minutes and was ready right when we got inside. The inside is about medium sized, maybe 10-15 tables. Smelled great inside. The bag of food was pretty heavy and was hot so we were excited to try it. Unfortunately it was so hot everything was steaming in the bag and the lumpia wasn't as crispy as we were expecting but still solid, not very big and also expensive for 8 pieces ($8.50). The spaghetti was not better than the homemade Filipino spaghetti I've had but not bad. The tocino ribs were pretty good. Not super meaty but you could definitely taste the smoke and was mostly tender. Came with a good amount of java rice but some of it was mushy. The items are pretty expensive compared to most other Filipino restaurants though which can be a turn off. I do like the chef and it's a little early to make a final call about this place and since they have so much on the menu, I'd like to try their other stuff first. I will probably come back a few months down the line to give it another shot.

FINALLY made my way here and I was super glad about it because I've only had this recommendation sent to me at least 5 times on IG. Boyfriend and I treated ourselves to take out with the smoked brisket sinigang, lechon, adobo wings, halo halo smoothie, & lumpia of course. My notes on the experience: * We really liked the sinigang but realized that this is not your traditional sinigang. This was boyfriend's favorite * Lechon was delicious and everything you'd expect *Adobo wings were my personal favorite since I don't usually like wings but they absolutely had the flavor you would want * My boyfriend realized 8 lumpias would probably not be enough so he ordered 4 orders of it (which I was not complaining about because this lumpia was BOMB and there IS such a thing as bad lumpia) * I think my least favorite thing was the halo-halo smoothie though because the fixins weren't as generous as I would hope, but I heard the turon ice cream is the better choice so I'll be trying that next All of it together totaled a little over $100, which obviously ain't cheap, but I had no regrets. It got my moms vote when we shared too! Happy to have a nice filipino restaurant in the area that I don't have to drive all the way to DC for and it's nice to support my fellow filipinos in the area :-)

We ordered sisig, sinigang pork belly, rib bistek, and pork isaw. The sisig was barely touched. There was little to no flavor. Sinigang pork belly was mostly fat (as shown in the pic). Rib bistek was bomb tho. Very flavorful and the rib was tender. Pork isaw was good but very very pricey. All in all there's a lot of room for improvement. The restaurant has filipino packaged goods as well such as chips and candies. We were so excited to try this place but it fell short for us.

New restaurant - came on their second day after opening. Replaced the Filipino BBQ restaurant in the shopping center. Big space with lots of seating. The menu seems to have a lot of the main Filipino staples. You order up front and then they bring the food to you in to go containers. Normally when I try a new Filipino restaurant I always get the Lumpia Shanghai to gauge whether or not the restaurant is going to be good but they ran out sadly at 2pm on a Sunday. Ended up getting the Filipino pork skewers and the sisig, along with Calamansi juice. The skewers were good- on the fatty end. They were grilled pork belly - normally for pork skewers it's pork tenderloin so this was definitely different and slightly more fatty. The sisig was good. Not the best I've had but still tasty. It was well seasoned with a good mix of garnish. It was switched over yellow rice, which I'm not used to. Normally Filipino rice is more of a garlic fried rice, which would've tasted good here. Lastly normally sisig I get in the past has been sizzling with an egg over it. This was not like that. Overall I had a good experience. Service and wait was fast and friendly. The prices were okay, a little on the pricey end. I paid $32 for everything without dessert. I'll make sure to come back for that.

Great Filipino food for the price! I really enjoyed the Lechon kawali the most. Overall I t's not necessarily traditional; however, the food was still very delicious. I'm sure non-Filipinos would like and appreciate the food. Def recommend going here

Very spacy restaurant. We came there early as they are open. The cashier brought the food out to us but wasn't as friendly when we place our order. The food is great and each bowl the food filled all the way up to the top. Everything was seasoned perfectly. A lot of people just came in to pick food to go rather than staying in and eat!

Sadly did not exceed my expectations, got baited with instagram foodies. Bangus with laing was just okay honestly. Comes with little amount of rice, not enough for the bangus laing. Chicken isaw with the sauce was good though but for the price? Service was meh, it was dead inside it was just me & my partner and another two people; could've had better service. I don't think I would come back here for filipino dish.

Highly recommend the skewers! We ordered the sisig, which was pretty good but also not something I'd order again. The calamansi juice was so refreshing, also highly recommend. My friend ordered the lemongrass chicken. It looked like a lot of work to eat because it was bone in, but definitely tasted delicious. The service is basically self serve where you order at the front and pick up your food when they call your name.

First we were looking for a Filipino restaurant that was close by to where we were and this came up so Let's try! Which was a good idea ! When we got there the atmosphere was very nice and we ordered ! Food and when it came the young man I totally forgot his name but he told me that he was the assistant chief!!! Very polite host and he did take care of us with much respect! And the food was very good ! The lumpia was very good ! Along with the rest of our order, and our halo-halo was very good also I like the concept the way they prepared it ! I will definitely recommend this restaurant for all who want Filipino cuisine!!!!

Bright and clean and new-feeling inside the restaurant. Order at the counter and they bring you trays with your food. BBQ meat comes with dipping sauce and an XL serving of white rice. French fries are skippable. Pineapple juice had a weird tang/fizziness to it that I wasn't expecting.

So...I was going stop in and give this place a second chance. I arrived at 8:40PM tonight and I got to the counter for the staff member to look at me, not greet me and then go into the kitchen. The place was already a ghost town and then my first experience nor the recent reviews good. I definitely won't be returning.

As a fellow filipino, I grew up always saying, my mom can make Filipino food better so I won't spend money going to a Filipino place..but I'm glad I got to try Sari! Sometimes mom is not always around and if you're craving filipino food, this is the place to be. Their sinigang hits home. Love their take on it, with the crispy pork belly. Would love to try more of their food! It's easy to be thrown off by the prices, but we have to remember this is a small business and we gotta give them the chance. Everyone there is also friendly and welcoming. Will be coming back here!

I mean SARAP!!! Went there because the lines at the Fairfax Filipino street festival were too long. Looked up Filipino street food and they popped up. Ordered the pork belly barbecue, Pancit canton, and lumpia. All were perfectly prepared and delicious. The inside is very nice for a strip mall eatery and they had a nice crowd for mid afternoon. Would definitely recommend and we will order or dine there again.

First time trying Sari, and it was definitely worth it. The entire menu seemed very authentic with much to choose from. The inside is very clean with comforting vibes. I paid close to 30$ for an appetizer and entree with a soda, which was well worth it as the portions were pretty big. The appetizer came out nicely cooked with a nice charr and 4 big skewers of glazed porkbelly. The main dish was beef with a fried egg over a very helpful serving of rice and a side vinegar based salad. Both dishes were delicious, and the service was on point thanks to Beatrice.

Sari Filipino Kusina is an eatery and a mart, all in one. We came here to check them out for lunch; their menu offers appetizers, entrees, side dishes, and desserts/drinks. We tried: +the Veggie Lumpia - filled with mixed veggies, fried, and served with a sweet chili sauce; were soggy and could have been more soggy +Smoked Adobo Wings - smoked wings, glazed with soy sauce, vinegar, and bay leaf; came with 6 wings; were undercooked +Adobong Manok - chicken braised in soy sauce, vinegar, and bay leaf; served with jasmine rice and a cucumber tomato salad; you can substitute for garlic rice for a slight upcharge; more on the bland side; it wasn't the savory-ness we expected it to be to enjoy with the rice +SARI Spaghetti - sweet spaghetti sauce with red hot dogs and cheese; was way too sweet, and the sliced hot dogs tasted off +Pineapple Cooler and a Halo Halo Smoothie One of my biggest pet peeves is when an Asian eatery doesn't know how to properly cook or prepare rice - the garlic rice was undercooked, as the rice was hard. We felt that the price points didn't match the quality and the portion of the items that were being served. Service was fine. +inappropriately prepared rice +undercooked wings

The food here was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for good Filipino food. The Sinigang was different than what I'm used to but it was still good. Everything else that I had there was superb. Each entrée came with a sufficient amount of rice. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu. I know I will not be sorry. Pun intended.

Good experience at Sari, overall food was solid but not perfect. It's a casual counter service spot, everything is served in takeout containers and you grab a seat. They also sell some dry goods too. Lechon was crispy, lacked a bit of flavor but overall good with the rice, atchara and mang tomas. Pork belly skewers are pure fat, but were my favorite item we tried. Fries are seasoned and tasty. Mac and cheese I would not order again. Lumpia (they were out of meat) was crispy and nice with sweet chili sauce. Halo Halo smoothie was delicious. The wings were ok - the flavors clash between the bbq smoke and the adobo glaze. And same for the kare kare - overall decent, tastes like they add bagoong in the sauce already (also served on the side), but again the flavor of the smoked brisket I felt took away from the peanut sauce. Maybe I'm biased but of course always prefer homecooked kare kare vs any I've tried out.

This was my 5th time coming to this restaurant. Usually food was on point. I ordered the sisig 2 weeks ago and it was good but tonight Wed 31 Jul. I ordered my favorite again, the sisig, kare kare with pork belly. However, It was not edible,the sisig was like scraps from bad stir fry with no flavor, and the kare kare had hints of burnt peanut butter and lacked the usual kare kare flavor. I was so PO'd because I talked this place up, and it was my daughters first time. I left disgusted and upset. I will be reluctant to come back.

I was really excited to check this place out since it's bringing more attention to filipino food, however I think this place falls flat in doing a good job at it. The food looks good on those popular food tiktoker accounts, but the flavors, price, and execution in real life didn't live up to the hype. My friends and I ordered the veggie lumpia, bangus with laing, pancit canton, sisig, kare-kare, calamansi and pineapple coolers, and the turon with ube ice cream. The calamansi cooler was the highlight of the meal, it was light and refreshing without being too tart. The sisig was pretty standard and delicious with lots of good texture in the dish. The turon was also good, but I still would prefer my mom's. The lumpia was crispy and delicious, but pretty small. I didn't get a review from my friend on the pancit, but my friend who had the bangus with laing said the laing was good but the bangus was mediocre. The most disappointing part of the meal though was the kare kare that I ordered. I love kare kare, and was excited to see how they'd make it here, unfortunately I was served a broken emulsion of peanut butter and oil. The flavor was pure peanut butter with no complexity or depth. The vegetables in the dish were cooked nicely, but the kare kare overall was entirely unsatisfying and a little off putting. The bagoong should enhance the dish, not carry it like it did in this case. The interior has a little lounge, and nostalgic posters hung around. You can even shop from their small sari store and grab some banana ketchup like I saw another customer do. I wanted to like this place so badly, and I tried to give it a fair chance. However, the price point does not justify the quality of dish you're served. You can get more quality and authentic dishes down the street at Manila Oriental for a fraction of the price (and their kare kare is more than just peanut butter).
