"Sunset in Sanur Sanur is a beautiful and quaint part of Bali with hotels along the boardwalk that lines the beach. The boardwalk really makes Sanur special, as walking in Bali can be treacherous in most of the towns with narrow streets and tiny sidewalks, but this paved path in Sanur is great for biking and long walks along the beach. Walk to the south end of the boardwalk for a great view of the sunset and find a nice little cafe to have a Bintang (beer) or a Bali kopi (coffee)."

If you want somewhere to stay that isn't your usual loud, high tourist/traffic, then definitely try Sanur. We stayed close to the beach, and the walks were beautiful. Such pride is taken on the gardens and walkways. There are plenty of local stalls and markets. The new Icon Shopping Centre was within walking distance. I recommend staying within walking distance to the beach. We will definitely stay again.

Sanur has nice sandy beach but the water is very shallow. There are many hotels on the beach front, so that you can combine swimming pools and beach. Long walking path is good for walking, running or cycling.

What a lovely less chaotic part of Bali. Definitely will be back here should I visit Bali again. Nice boutique shops with very good quality goods and prices. Less traffic and beach is great. Quite a different vibe from west coast. Stayed at swatiska bungalows and recommend it. Lovely setting and staff very friendly.

Laidback and quiet, but with enough interesting things to do. Some absolutely beautiful spots if you go exploring. At Night the cleverly placed lights around the parks and hotels look amazing.

My Airbnb is in close proximity with Sanur beach - just about a kilometer away. A trip to the beach is very possible whenever I want. Sanur beach is a good retreat if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. It's so lovely and serene. It has a laid-back vibe. The long stretch of the coast is lined with restaurants offering local and international cuisines, hotels, and other small businesses selling goods and services. It is also pedestrian and bicycle friendly. I had fun sipping my coffee while sitting on the sand, watching the waves under the shade of a tree. I will be back this week to watch the sunset!

A nice break from the usual Bali rat race. Quieter and less expensive. Highly recommend if you are sick of the hustle and bustle of the more popular towns.
