Sanremo Bakery

Sanremo is the neighbourhood store you see Vice documentaries about. It's the bustling, chaotic, passionate Italian deli of my dreams. A store which rises the real estate value of its surroundings by its sole existence. You can feel the sincerity and quality behind every product. The goal is clear; to serve us, the customers, something beautifully yummy and honest. No gimmicks nor tricks. A single visit and it has become my favorite store in Toronto. The only tragedy is I will never be able to taste everything they sell.

Walked in on a whim and walked out with over 100 bucks worth of pizza, sandwiches, and assorted bakery delights. Got home and took this picture of what was left before I got to it. What can I say that others haven't- The lineup is terrible, and the traffic around the bakery gives Manhattan chaos vibes, but the food absolutely slaps your mommas pants off!!

The food is to die for. I mean their cold cut focaccia is insane. I will be back. I think this might be the meal I enjoyed the most in Toronto. I came in because of how good the pastries are but the sandwich , 🥪, yeah A+

This bakery blew my mind! From the moment you step into their perfectly organized chaos, you’re completely taken over by their unbelievable selection of quite literally any mouth watering baked good that you can think of. I just stood there for a few minutes taking it all in. It must have been a lunch rush when we showed up because it was so busy. But it was so well managed. No lack of staff able to help you, that’s for sure. I love how every single area has its own section. Coffee station here, bakery there, hot food over here, deli in the next room. It was so functional! I was also so shocked with the prices too. Local bakery’s in our area are very expensive! So being able to pick up an entire lemon meringue pie for $8 or a box of treats for $14 was SO delightful! We definitely felt a bit intimidated trying to navigate the ordering process for all the stations so we just grabbed a few sweet treats before heading out. But we will absolutely be back and staying for lunch & a coffee next time!

I have always tried the pastries when other people bring them to parties and get together. I finally made it down myself to see this Amazing bake shop for myself. Today was about the cakes! I tried the Oreo cake, red, velvet cake, and a slice of Nutella cake! OMG! To die for! They were all out of donuts and I found out that you have to come earlier in the day if you want to get to taste those. They sell out fast! The service was fantastic, fast and friendly! I felt as though I was at a family get together the way they work together and treat their customers. Can’t wait to go back and try those donuts! See you guys soon

One of the best bakeries in Toronto is on the East end. Family owned and operated has been delivering amazing breads, pastries and hot table for decades . There's virtually nothing that I wouldn't eat here. It's a good thing I don't live too close to it as I would be here on a daily basis and it would show. The service here is always first class. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's a bit of everything inside between a coffee shop bakery hot table + more. If you haven't been to this place, you need to get out to Etobicoke and try SanRemo.

Everything is super-duper delicious !! Best ever Backery so far by Lakeshore area. loved basic sunny side up pizza, simple but delicious.! Parking availability issue as shop is on busy road and there is no dedicated parking.

I finally came here to try their food TT. Everything was great as they look. There are so many options to choose from between savory and sweet. One time visit wasn’t enough for me to taste everything😰 All the food were looking delicious. I really liked the pizza and pasta. They are changing the menus everyday so check out their instagram for update! It’s a bit far from the downtown area but it’s definitely worth it to have a little trip. I’m coming back for more donuts🤤
