One of the long standing restaurants in the Yonge-Finch area, they were originally located as a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant under a condo complex and now as a standalone restaurant closer to Yonge and Finch. They are best known for their fried baos (soup dumplings), which are made fresh to order throughout the day along with other street food style items all for a decent price as most items are under $15. Their baos come in orders of four per plate and are fried with the top side down, which helps to keep all the soup in under a thin, crispy dumpling wrapper. One order of baos can be filling even as a snack or as a light meal given their size. The other popular item is their Scallion Oil Noodles, which is a dry noodle dish that comes with noodles mixed in scallion oil, topped with peanuts and marinated scallions from the oil. The noodles were very flavourful and come with a strong taste of garlic. Overall, it is a popular spot in the area due to the food being great value for the area. As the restaurant tends to be fairly busy during peak times, expect to be a waiting list or be prepared to do takeout. Also, the restaurant is cash/debit only but paying cash provides a small discount on your order.

Holy bao.. Finally a day back at the office, which means lunch with coworkers. Went to @sangjibaotoronto for a lunch tease. Tried the curry flavored beef. Not bad at all. Super flavourful but yet not overwhelming to a point where it covers the taste of the bao. Still like the original flavor more if you ask me. Cravings satisfied.

Google
One of the best Bao places I've been to hands down. Exceeded my expectation as I was expecting a budget, medium quality style but that was not the case. The original and truffle fries Bao was crispy on the outside, and filled with umami flavored soup on the inside. It was so flavorful I can't begin to describe the complex flavors in the little baos. The Shanghainese schnitzel was pretty good, but it's mainly the sauce that did a lot of the work. It was sweet and savory which boosted the flavor. The wonton soup was really good as well and so were the egg-wrapped Chinese fried dough. Would definitely come back again and highly recommended to others.

Google
The Bao (Pork Soup Dumpling) at Sang-Ji Fried Bao (North York) was freshly made and awesome. The Original Pork Sang Ji Bao (pork soup dumpling) was awesome. The pork filling and the soup inside the Bao were generous and savoury. The Bao wrapping was soft on top and crunchy on the bottom where they fried it. Would definitely recommend. The Shrimp Sang Ji Bao was good. The shrimp portion was generous. Of the two Baos, the Original Pork Sang Ji Bao was our favourite. Would also recommend reading how to eat the Bao (see picture) so that you can enjoy sipping the soup inside the Bao first then eating the pork filling and Bao wrapping afterwards. The Dry Noodle with Scallion Oil & Peanuts was awesome. The dry noodles had great texture and soaked up the good scallion flavour. It was a good noodle dish. The Bite-size Wonton Soup (Pork Flavour) was good. The wontons were delicious and soup was savoury.

Google
Soup in the bao was delicious and the wrapping was good but the cost really wasn’t worth what it was. Spent over 20$ for 4 bao and dry noodle scallion oil peanuts but really wasn’t very cost effective for how much food there was. Really expected there to be more noodles for the cost. Wouldn’t come here again as there’s just cheaper options in the area with arguably better portions for the cost.

Google
Delicious pan fried bao, crispy outside and juicy inside. Dry noodles with scallions oil is my favorite as well. Just the restaurant is kind of small and not much space between tables. Service was fast and good!

Google
The original pork sang-ji is the best item in the shop. It came with crispy bottom and juicy inside. It still tasted good even to-go. I was a little bit disappointed with the savory fritter roll since the roll was stale.

Google
Came here twice a year apart and the pan fried baos were still jaw droppingly good. Crispy bottom without being burnt, meat and soup filling has a deep flavour that is sweet and fragrant aroma and not overly salty! Duck vermicelli is very light flavour but hearty enough.

Yelp
Best pan fried buns! This is a great spot for a cheap meal. Each bun is filled with juice and every bite is so satisfying. This spot never disappoints. I tried the curry bao recently and it was a great twist

Jason M.

Yelp
My God, if these aren't the most GOATed sang jin baos in Toronto. I've been here SOO many times I've lost count. The baos are great as a snack or as a meal. I'll be walking up and down Yonge St at night or during the day and all of a sudden feel the random urge to grab some baos just passing by. The outside dough is thin and crispy. They're absolutely packed with tons of soup. And the meat is so plump. They recently added the truffle pork bao as a new flavour and it's instantly become my favourite (my gf still prefers the original pork baos)! This location is always packed and chances are you'll have to leave your name and number down for when a table opens up if you visit during peak times. I wish they had more seating or opened up a bigger location in Richmond Hill or Markham. Geez I'd prolly ask for a VIP card at that point LOL. Service is quick, efficient and polite. You walk up to the register to pay. The menu is written on the wall and every night, usually by closing time, all the baos will be sold out. They even post a sign on the outside of the entrance telling ppl they've run out. I don't think I've ever felt tempted to try any of the other items on the menu outside of the baos.

Yelp
I've been meaning to visit Sang-ji for awhile now and finally got a chance to go. There was a bit of a wait even for a Sunday afternoon (non lunch time). Wait was fairly quick since service and turnover is quite fast. Still got called back quickly even with a party of 5. The space isn't the biggest but still has a good amount of seating. You can watch the baos being made, which is a nice bonus to the experience. Ended up sharing an order of the Sang-ji bao and the dry noodles with scallion oil and peanuts. The Sang-ji bao was fried perfectly with a perfect amount of soup inside. the dry noodles were done well, with good sauce distribution and flavour. Overall great experience.

JJ L.

Yelp
The restaurant is super cozy but can fit a good amount of people inside. Our food came really fast after ordering. The dumplings were perfectly cooked and was just what we needed during a cold day

Yelp
Sang-Ji Fried Bao in Yonge and Finch have always been my favorite. Even though the quality of their other snacks is mediocre, the fried bao alone are incredibly enticing and worth going back for. I haven't had such delicious fried bao even when I was in Hong Kong. The fried bao are filled with a generous amount of juicy meat, and the skin is not too thick. I highly recommend everyone to give them a try, as they are definitely worth tasting again and again.

Yelp
Small restaurant, limit seats but fast service. 10% off if you pay by cash. Fresh and delicious food.

Yelp
As a first-time visitor, I was immediately impressed by the warm and authentic ambiance of the restaurant. The Original Pork Bao and Truffle Pork Bao were simply mouthwatering. The buns were crispy at the bottom, and the fillings were bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delicious combination of savory goodness and delightful textures. The Savory Soy Cream Soup was rich, creamy, and had a unique depth of flavour. Despite the restaurant being quite popular, our wait time was only around 15 minutes, which was well worth it once we tasted the food. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and happily answered all our questions. I was also pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. Sang Ji Bao offers great value for the quality and taste they deliver. It's no wonder this place is popular among locals and visitors alike.

Michael L.

Yelp
Great place for fried buns. It's full of soup and if you don't follow the instructions on how to eat it, you might end up with burning soup all over your face. They added a truffle flavour in addition to their regular and curry options, and it's also very good. Place is always packed during peak lunch and dinner time. They'll take your name and number down and call you when a table opens up.

Matt C.

Yelp
My partner really wanted to try this place. I was prepared to be disappointed since so many places in Toronto are over-hyped but the dumplings here were really good. We tried all three types of dumplings and also got the schnitzel. The dumplings were hot and the broth inside was really flavourful. The schnitzel was good with a really crispy fry on the outside and the pork was just right. The restaurant is not that big, but we were able to get a seat right away just before noon. Would I wait in line to eat here? Probably not, but I can understand why others would. Definitely worth a try.

Annie X.

Yelp
I LOVE their baos so crispy and filled with juice can eat so many of these! Their noodle was also super flavourful

John Y.

Yelp
Be prepared to wait unless the stars are aligned for you. Extremely loud atmosphere, many people also waiting by cashier for their take out order Ordered bite size wonton soup w/spinach. Broth with pickled vegs had great Unami flavor profile, small wontons firm and dense Fried noodles with scallion oil . Noodles firm and chewy. Oil sinks to the bottom of the bowl so passionately mix noodles in bowl to get the full flavorful scallion essence. Star of the show were the Sangjian baos. Crispy skin with meat/soup filling. Extremely hot, watch out for squirting hot liquid if you bite incorrectly. Great value for your money, good variety of palate pleasing flavors.

Yelp
Location/Service This place is located a little north of where the old (now closed) location used to be - just a little north. Street parking is available and probably around the block, just note sometimes paid parking is required. The place is now a restaurant setup - with much more seating available. Interior decor is pretty standard - I do feel it lost the wooden olden touch it used to have. Staff were quick with their orders as usual and generally nice. Food Food wise it's pretty much the same choices. They did add 1-2 extra items, but I stuck with the basics as I was curious to see if it was still as good. And indeed it was! The sang ji bao was perfect - with a crisp, slightly burnt bottom and a soft soupy bun. So flavourful and hearty. Their dry noodle with scallion oil and peanut was also as consistent - good sharable size and quantity. Glad to know the have expanded the space to make more dine in accommodations. They still do the staple takeout setup, so it's perfect for people swinging by.

Yelp
A quick pit stop for dinner wonton soup, dry noodles, bao, Chinese donut and spare ribs. Very satisfying.

Brandyn T.

Yelp
This is a really quaint, tightly packed, fast paced restaurant great for quick meals reminiscent of Asian street food/night life. We were super excited to try the food as it always looked packed from the outside. We ordered the regular Pork Sang Ji Bao, Wonton Soup, and Scallion Oil Dry Noodle. The Pork Sang Ji is amazing; crispy bottom, slightly chewy skin, juicy meat filling, and succulent soup filling. The worst part about the dish is that it only comes in a plate of 4. There are even small graphics around the restaurant detailing tips on how to consume. The Wonton Soup comes with more wontons than we had expected and were also really delicious. The broth was light and was a great palate cleanser. The Scallion Oil Noodles had a nice texture and a subtle flavour. I think the dish could benefit with a bit of some kind of protein, but still tasty nonetheless. They also offer a 10% cash discount. The standout dish for us was in the restaurant's namesake; the Sang Ji Bao. Shortly after we ordered (on a Sunday at 7pm) the Sang Ji Baos were sold out, attesting to it's popularity. Highly recommend trying this spot out and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Juice, Juice and Juice!!!! A lot of Juice! I have been to Sang-ji several times before at the older locations, and this is the first time to visit their new location. The new location has several eat-in tables. I visited there after lunch hour (2:40 pm) but the place was almost full! I asked for takeout (Original pan-fried pork buns, Sheng Jian baos) and the they came out in a few minutes. Super quick service! The baos were as good as the older location. The crisp skin, meaty meat, and full of soup. You need a skill (?) to enjoy this bao. Follow the restaurant's instructions so you don't miss the best of the soup, the texture of the crispy bao wrappers, and the hot meatballs. Many Chinese restaurants have Sheng Jian Bao on the menu, and most of them have doughy soft bao but this place has thin, crisp wrapping. The soup is a bit sweeter to my liking but has depth, and is tasty for sure. Winter is coming - so I will come back again here for this hot comfort food! Congrats on the success of this new location :) 10% off for cash purchases :) !

Yelp
Note: This place only takes cash, debit & etransfer. NO CREDIT CARDS. Food here is delicious & cheap. The menu isn't very large. But what they do, they do it well. My friend & I got the pork bao, dry noodles & wonton soup (bite size spinach & shiitake). We split the bill 50-50 & paid $17 each. We couldn't even finish all the food. So my friend took some of it home to her husband. The dining area isn't very big. I think the whole place only seats 30 people. But the food gets served quickly & since they don't have dessert people don't usually linger over their meals. Decor-wise it's pretty basic with white walls & floors. Tables & chairs are wood tone. Plates & bowls are white. Chopsticks are black plastic. Waitstaff are no frills but they are friendly enough & very efficient. I like that there's a glass wall where you can watch the cook staff making the wontons & bao around a big table. At the back left of the restaurant is where you go pay for your meal. Beside the cashier there's a blackboard with the menu. But there is also a QR code on the table where you can scan the menu. I've been here twice & food has been consistently good each time. Note with the pork bao there is a hot broth inside it. So don't just pop it into your mouth & chew you're likely to burn your tongue! Let the bao cool for a bit then poke a hole in the top to sip the broth & chew the rest of the bao.

Michelle K.

Yelp
Menu is forward and simple! The service was really nice and fast :) The ambiance is casual and all the tables are close together, a bit of a small space. The baos were really delicious and I do reccomend their Dry Noodles as well. The curry baos and wonton soup was just ok.

Deb P.

Yelp
Always good. Consistent. Arrive when they open to secure a seat. High turnover of food. Fresh. Traditional Northern Chinese taste both from the wonton broth and meaty, soupy, crunchy bao. Get the curry baozis!

Cherrie T.

Yelp
Drove pass Sang-Ji Fried Bao the other day and realized it has moved to a NEW location (probably old news to many lol). It used to be this small little shop on Byng, and now it has flourished to a big shop on Yonge Street with ample seating! Since day one, their menu isn't crazy big to begin with. We are all so in loved with the Signature Sang-Ji Bao, which is their pan fried soup bun with a brown crispy bottom!! And now, they have added many NEW items on the menu, and they are all #sheepieapproved We have ordered takeout and really enjoyed: * Signature Sang-Ji Fried Bao * Bite size Wonton Soup * Fried Pork Short Ribs (very crispy) * Dry Noodle mixed w/ Scallion Oil & Peanuts * Duck Soup w/ Vermicelli * Sweet Soy Milk

Deborah H.

Yelp
Original sangji fried bao - 10/10 the dough is thin and crispy filling and juice is perfect. Curry sang ji fried bao - 7.5/10 same dough as original (delicious) curry flavour filling was meh, and for an additional $1.6 not worth it in my opinion

Claudine L.

Yelp
I love soup dumplings so I'm so glad Sang-Ji is nearby. They just opened a bigger store with tables for dine in. The curry baos are a new addition to their small menu (and I pretty much tried almost all their items). For this visit I tried the curry bao and got an order of the original bao. 1) Curry Bao I found the curry taste to be quite strong so if you're not used to it, brace yourself. I did find it a bit too strong in my opinion even though I like curry myself. The bao itself is still good but I don't think I'll come back for the curry. 2) Original Bao This is probably my fifth time getting original bao so yes, I do like it. Their menu is growing so I would definitely come back and try new dishes once they add more. I enjoyed the dry noodles that I had before as well!

Amy W.

Yelp
Sang-Ji Fried Bao moved from Byng Ave to this new Yonge location. Much more spacious and comfortable seatings. You can access the menu from the QR code or it is on the chalk board. There are new items such as the curry Sang-Ji Fried Bao, fried short ribs, and the duck with vermicelli. The curry Sang Ji fried bao is definitely a nice addition to the menu, light curry mixed with beef and pork, very flavourful. I am not a huge fan of tasting the pork taste and this curry just hit the spot and doesn't overpower it. The duck with vermicelli have shredded duck, some tofu puff and some pig blood curd. Overall, I liked the soup base and the shredded duck. Nice expanses menu and glad for the new move for them with more seatings! Will definitely come back.

Dan L.

Yelp
This is my second time coming to this restaurant and both times the food was very good. I like their dry noodles and duck vermicelli soup noodles but for sure the standout dish is the Sang-Ji Bao. This is such a great dish and is a great reason to eat here. The Sheng Jin Bao is really awesome and super juicy. The inside is very flavorful with lots of soup. And the bottom half is very crunchy. I actually like Sheng Jin Bao better than XLB now after eating here!

Bonnie C.

Yelp
Highly recommended the best Sang-Ji Bao in Toronto, glad to be happy they have store and we can dine in to enjoy fantastic Bao Pls be careful the hot juicy soup broth inside the bao it was amazing Definitely back to try Curry Sang-Ji

Rea H.

Yelp
This place was so affordable and good. We ordered 4 plates of food and it was 45$. We couldn't even finish it between two people because we got so full. The noodles and wonton soup were amazing. The food came out very fast, there was no wait at all when we entered and we didn't make a reservation. Overall a great place.

Christina F.

Yelp
NOTE: Bring cash, as they do not accept credit. Overall: Delicious, fresh, and authentic fried bao, dry noodles, and wonton soup! Do not expect a lot of service - this is common with asian restos and the food is worth it. We went up to the cash register to flag a waiter and to pay. Many positive reviews have already echo'd what I want to say. The bao are fresh and crispy on the outside, with tasty soup and meat on the inside. They have a little guide that teaches you how to eat the bao properly too. :) The dry noodles were also delicious. Loved the savoury oil and onion(?) toppings they used with it. Thought it would be a bit dry but it was a great pairing with the bao and wonton soup. The wonton soup was also delicious. Standard fare; tasty. I would definitely eat here again!

Mei Lan M.

Yelp
This was my second time eating here, but the first time at this new location. This small restaurant has a modern feeling to it and more seating so you can actually eat in and enjoy your baos while they're hot! I came here mid-afternoon and it was busy! We were lucky to get seats. Most of the tables were already full but we did manage to sit at the long table near the front of the restaurant. A neat feature is you can actually watch the baos being made through the plexiglass. Today, I ordered the curry sang ji bao which was $8.50 for four pieces. It was so yummy. There is a good amount of soup in that bao so you have to be careful when you eat it as it's really hot. Also, there is a good amount of meat in the bao, so you will feel pretty full after eating four of them. The curry baos are really yummy but I have to say that I do prefer the original ones. This place is great and I hope they open up a new location that is closer to my home.

Cheuk Wing Y.

Yelp
Everyweek must-have menu Original pork sang-ji bao ($7.59/4pc) Juicy and hot meatball inside the crump wrapper we can see the workers preparing for tbe bao seriously over the bar tables Duck soup with vermicelli ($11.99) Tasty soupI love the vermicellii which contains lots of the duck's flavour

Melissa L.

Yelp
First time here after my mother craved for sang-jian bao. It was a full house even on a weekday afternoon! We stood there for a good while before someone gave us attention and pointed us to a table. There weren't many selections to choose from, but really, if you are here for the fried bao, you don't need any other selections. We ordered their only options provided for their fried bao- original and curry beef. Both baos were served steamingly hot and juicy. It has instructions around to teach you the proper way of eating this yummy bao without getting burned. The size of each bao was large, therefore HIGHLY recommended following their guide on "how to eat" to avoid splattering all the juices everywhere. The meat in each bao was a little ity bit smaller than we imagined but all the juices were locked in that small little thing. The curry flavour really lived up to its name. However, we both preferred the original flavor. Overall, definitely worth the price, given the location of the restaurant- Yonge/ Finch area.

Andy L.

Yelp
Before even getting to order, I could already sense that the food at this place was going to be good, as all of the tables were filled and there were customers coming in and out for takeout orders. This place definitely did not disappoint! A cool thing about this place is that you can see the employees making the baos from scratch through the glass window on the other side. We had ordered the original and curry soup baos, along with dry noodles. The original soup baos were definitely the best out of our entire meal! I would highly recommend the original baos over the curry baos as the curry flavor can be a bit overpowering. Also, the dry noodles had an amazing and fragrant taste to them that reminded me of Mi Goreng! I would highly recommend checking out this place if you are into fried baos because it is one of the best in the area!

Shanen G.

Yelp
Looking for delicious fried baos? Sang Ji Fried Bao is the place to go!! I got their dry noodles with scallion oil + peanuts which is a simple yet yummy meal. Their fried baos are a must because they are made perfectly with a crispy bottom, soft and hot liquid interior. The soup is very hot so you have to be careful when eating this or you might burn your tongue! Simply bit a small hole and sip sip the soup :)

Charmaine L.

Yelp
My favourite sang-ji bao in Toronto. Very juicy inside and crunch skin. Tasty meat and super fresh. I also can't skip their spring onion oil noodle, just try it! Their menu is quite simple but all dishes will not let you down. Recommended!!

Yelp
love the fried pork bao. so crispy on the bottom and juicy inside. i order also the curry bao and is slightly more expensive but i don't taste too much of the difference. so i stick to the pork bao. yummy

Christy H.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Sang-Ji Fried Bao which was a very great experience. The noodles honestly exceeded my expectations as it was so tasty and tender! The baos were also delicious - super savoury, loved the soup. I found the baos to be a bit thick for my liking but this is also just my personal preference. I find that this is a great place to grab a quick bite. Will definitely be back!

Jacquelyn C.

Yelp
I have mainly only been to the original location which was a lot smaller and honestly a bit more shabby looking (but that's what makes it feel authentic haha). However, this still becomes my go to place for soup dumplings (for now). This new location though, a lot cleaner looking and they even have spots for people to sit in (which they didn't have before). They also seem to have more things on their menu than before. So there are two things that I have mainly tried here (will update when I do try their other things): Original Pork Sang ji Bao: Go to thing that I will get here. If I come here, I will 100% be getting some sang ji bao. This is what they are known for, and this is what has made me decide to come here as my go to place for soup dumplings. They are just so juicy and hot, they're also not that small compared to your typical soup dumplings, these will need at least two bites. If you try putting the whole thing in your mouth, you might choke (and burn from how hot this thing is). A huge plus is that it also sits well with my stomach, I don't seem to be getting some stomach aches that I sometimes get when I go eat at other soup dumpling places. Dry noodle w/scallion oil and peanuts: I did not seem to pay attention to the name when I got this, because when I ate it, the first thing that came to my mind was that this thing is incredibly dry. I thought the oil or something would have made the noodles at least a little less dry, but alas, it is quite dry to eat. Not necessarily a chore to eat, but I would probably not get these, you can most likely make them at home for a way cheaper price and in a way that you would prefer. Basically, there's nothing really special about these, and i would not get these again imo.

Susanna W.

Yelp
Every time I'm in the area I would stop by for their fried baos! The baos are crispy on the outside and bursting with juice on the inside. I've only had the original pork baos, but would definitely want to try the curry baos next time. They do take a while to make so if you're ordering takeout make sure to call in advance. Seating is pretty limited so if you're coming to dine in then make sure you come early.

Lawson L.

Yelp
The best place for pan-fried buns moved to a more spacious location just minutes away from where they were originally. Now you can dine in with comfort and try some of their new items like this curry Sang-Ji bao on their expanded menu. The wifey and both like the original Sang-Ji Bao better than the curry but both are still really good and filled with AMAZING soup. Make sure you poke a hole and sip the piping hot soup inside first! got too excited and made a mess

Tianle C.

Yelp
Authentic food with authentic atmosphere. Good prices and fast service. Highly recommended.

Donna S.

Yelp
I still enjoy the OG baos here the same as before but I recently got the beef curry flavour and I didn't enjoy it. It seems like they used a strong spice, like anise or something else and the curry tasted like traditional Chinese medicine. I wanted to update my review - still 4/5 starts but do not order the beef curry sang ji Bao.

Mabel L.

Yelp
This place is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! They make a dumpling that is well known in Shanghai and the taste is almost equivalent to Shanghai! I use to go to their old location and very happy to see they have expanded to a bigger restaurant. I now live in Calgary but so far have been back there twice during my trip to Toronto. I did order their noodle dishes...I have to admit, those are average. However, I would personally go out of my way for their Sang-Ji Bao because it's sooooo good!

Jeff C.

Yelp
This small restaurant is known for one dish, sang Ji, or Sheng Jian, which is the representative snack dish of Shanghai. (I grew up eating this). The key is to pan fry the buns from scratch and serve them almost from pan to plate within 5 minutes. IMHO, Sang-ji makes the best in greater Toronto. The secret is how they made the filling, it has to juicy, yet not oily.

Tp A.

Yelp
Adding a picture to my previous review. Went there again today, still great quality and pleasant services.

Yu X.

Yelp
Its a bit hard to find parking spot outside. This place only offers a couple of items on the menu such as fried bun, noodles etc. I tried their takeout noodles and fried bun. Both were decent. The fried bun had juicy soup inside and the size was decent. The noodles were quite flavourful. In general, it's a good place for snacks food or simple dinner.

Yelp
TLDR: the bao was juicy and it has a lot of meat. They bun itself is chewy and perfectly tucked. It's best to eat in a sit down restaurant compared to take out They moved from Byng Ave. to Yonge Street for a bigger location! This is really better location because it's more visible. It's just few steps from the original location We bought 2 baos. One serving has 4 pieces. And each piece has a generous amount of meat. The juice and the meat are carefully tucked inside the bun! Just a tip, in case you're doing a take out or order it through uber, make sure you heat them properly. And eat them warm :)

Yelp
One of my top favorite places to eat soup dumplings. Be aware there is long waiting times for seating and take out orders. So order in advance! They look overwhelmed with Uber/Door orders alone. Aside from that the soup dumplings are extremely yummy here. Also the wonton soup and dry noodles is good too. Basically everything from their mini menu is good. I always manage to get a seat on a weekday early evening around 3-4 pm is the best time anything after expect lines. The food here is GOOOOD!!!

Yelp
Usually very busy, quality is consistent and good. Cash is 10 % off. It is a bit pricey, but with inflation and such, kind of hard to find a place with cheap eats. This is a place you'd come for a quick bite and while being delicious. Food usually served within 10 mins. Be very careful with eating their signature san jo bao. It is extremely hot and quite easily can burn you. Price: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Overall 13/15

Yelp
Great food. Hometown taste. My wife loves it. Recommends eat in the restaurant. Soup in sang-ji bao is awesome.

Yelp
I love love love Sang-Ji Fried Bao! They recently moved to a slightly bigger location just around corner with more indoor seating. The baos are so delicious and juicy! I think they deep fried the bottom of the bun which gives it an extra crisp. Their menu is pretty small (focus is on the bao). I've also had the green onion noodles which was pretty good. But the star is definitely the fried bao!
