San Pedro Holiday Hotel

Fantastic hotel right in the heart of town, staff were amazing and helped with anything we needed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant served great food, and the bar staff were great

Friendly people, right on the beach within walking distance of the best dive shop on the island. Good food it right next door and the view from the rooms is delightful. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location nd beautiful view, that's why the 3 stars. The room is relatively clean. The sink had zero water pressure so we had to use shower for washing hands etc. The water pressure isn't great in the shower either, but it comes out. You get 1 bath towel per person and one hand towel. If you want more you can rent a towel. When checking out they reprimanded me, as one towel had make up on it.||They have two wicker lounge chairs and the cushions were never out, even when I asked for them. Nice picnic tables at beach tho.||I've stayed at Holiday 6-7 times and that will be my last. Not expensive, but expected more for the price.||The restaurant is fair and convenient

I was so grossed out the only night I stay here. The fan is full of tick layer of dust dirt. The plugs don’t work. One of the mattress was broke in half The “ocean view” is full of junk and construction materials The fridge was dirty and old things were inside. I was gonna try to make it work until we found 2 small roaches. There was not a single good experience

One of the worst hotel and equipments that I have ever seen in my entire life. I am not even talking about the lack of comfort (super noisy especially at night with the music from the bar downstairs), the fact that there was no hot water or the lack of the equipments announced on the website (e.g. refrigerator). I am talking about cockroaches! Insalubrity, bugs and insane dirt everywhere! I even got stuck in the toilet because the door handle was broken ! DO NOT BOOK HERE !

La Sanpedrana restaurant review. We had a great breakfast here, right next to the beach, and the staff were lovely. The vegetarian and meat options were both delicious, the waitress was pleasant, and the coffee was nice. Great location right next to the beach.

I recently had a night booked at the San Pedro holiday hotel but as things go sometimes in travel, I found myself with a canceled flight and wasnt able to make it. The Expedia website stated non refundable at booking so I emailed the hotel to let them know I wouldn't be showing up, but that was all. The person who responded to my email asked if I was able to get a refund and I explained that I was not but it's okay. They offered to do the paperwork on their end to get me the refund without my asking, and I just received it today. I wanted to write this review as a thank you for rectifying an issue that they were not obligated to. My delay was extended by two days so that money has helped me a lot and I am grateful. Definitely recommend this hotel just for the heart alone.

Excellent location walkable to the ferry and the airport. Great little beach area with awesome dive / snorkel shop located right out front. You’ll be in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of San Pedro out front (and walkable to lots of great restaurants), with a small but functional beach area out back. Felt safe here, but the room was rough. (Another review mentioned to bring a doorstop, I second that!) We stayed on the 2nd floor and the room did not look like the updated picts you see here! (It seems that most of the first floor rooms were updated). Our room did have a brand new mini split that cranked out the a/c but overall the room was pretty dark, and the floors, walls, and finishes need updating. Bed was comfy and clean. The water pressure was poor, but the room overall was clean. If you’re looking for a pretty bare minimum, gonna-only-sleep-here kind of set up this place will work for those needs. You won’t want to spend any time in this room. It is bare minimum. Walls are thin, and you will hear other guests and the music from the neighboring bars/restaurants. Restaurant downstairs had excellent food and friendly staff. The entire team at the hotel was kind, friendly, and helpful. As per most of Belize, everything was slow going, so if you’re in a hurry I’d suggest you double the amount of time you will think you need to get through a meal, or get somewhere. Overall would stay here again with tempered expectations - but request an updated room vs the dank older ones.
