TLDR: Pretty good food with some exceptions! Fairly pricey. Bad for noise sensitivity if you go at peak dinner hours. --- All you can eat, and we've eaten here many times! It is expensive though, be warned! Definitely go earlier than your regular dinner time, as it gets pretty busy quickly and once it does, sometimes some of your orders will be missed. Given that it's all you can eat, though, that's not a huge deal. What is to me, though, is that it gets quite noisy in such a small space! I would avoid the "assorted tempura" option here- i find that they're always kind of lukewarm. The singular ones though have been good! There's no "ice cream tempura" on the all you can eat menu as I'm seeing on my Google review page, just so you know! Staff isn't overly friendly but still provides good service over all so I don't mind :) All in all an enjoyable experience, we'll continue going here for sure!

This used to be our favourite sushi restaurant until it started downgrading.😕The eat-in is not bad, and the service isn’t too slow, but the take out is horrendous. We ate-in and asked when we were ordering we asked for certain rolls to be to go. We ate our food and it was quite delicious. We then realized that 2 of our rolls hadn’t come yet, and since we needed to go, we asked for them to go. When we got in the car we decided to continue eating. I had ordered a Philadelphia roll, with salmon, avocado, and cream cheese. The roll tasted like they had taken everything that had gone bad in the kitchen and thrown it together. The salmon was expired, the avocado brown, and I don’t even want to know how old the cream cheese was.

Usually all you can eat is very mediocre which was not the case at all here. Awesome food. Also usually the inside of these places is kind of gross, which again wasn’t the case at all. A gem and great surprise at the quality all around. Only thing we didn’t like was the tempura batter was too thick

Went here for my 16th birthday and it was absolutely lovely. Our server was super nice and got a special drink for me, even though they didnt have any birthday specials. The sushi was delicious, definitely my all time favourite. Loved it so much.

Absolutely love Sakana Hoise! There are two locations in Barrie. We have ordered their Fall & Summer Bento boxes and are astonished by the freshness & quality of their food! It's eat first talk later. The salmon sashimi pieces were thick & juicy and melt in your mouth. The miso soup was rich and warm and so filling. The sesame salad dressing was so yummy that I drank the rest up when my salad was done. Salmon Teriyaki was perfectly grilled with light coat of teriyaki & the shrimp & veggie tempura were delicious with tempura sauce. So much food that I have 2 meals in one! $18.99 for Fall Bento! What a deal for this excellent quality of food. They have AYCE as well for $38.99 but we were on our way home so we didn't have much to experience this. Next time for sure as we really enjoyed everything' Come eat here you will love it!

Ordered the $49.99 dinner for 4 for delivery. Outstanding! Everything was top notch. The Lemon chicken which is one of my favorites was excellent! Real lemony flavor, not just the standard lemon sauce you get most places. Kung Po Beef with peanuts was great with a nice peppery flavor. Good chunks of meat and vegetables that were perfectly cooked. Good portions as well. Service was great...giving 5 stars for atmosphere based on the delivery driver. Big smile and very friendly. I had been referred here by a co-worker and was not disappointed. I will definitely dine in one day as he had and told me they had a great experience. Will certainly try some other things off the menu but for me the dinner for 4 was perfect!:)

Ordered delivery, worst spicy salmon rolls ive ever seen. CANNED SALMON with spicy sauce on side 🤮 Also, worst general tsao chicken I've ever had. Tastes nothing like it's suppose to and very soggy . For the price this was the worst sushi experience ever will never recommend or order again.

First time having meal at the restaurant not long ago. Friendly and excellent service. It is always nice to have someone asking about the food allergies while ordering. Ordered two Bento box Fall,deep-fried cheese wonton and deep-fried soft Carbs, get some substitutions in the Bento box. Food are tasty and the portion are great. Cannot remember the name for the drink. LoL. Will be back soon.
