Nice area, a lot of japanese restaurants, bars, izakayas. Same time a lot of massage salons and too many hostes which are trying to get you in.

Interesting place, but it's mostly a few bars, a few restaurants, and A LOT of hostess clubs, girl bars, and massage parlours. Prices are high compared to regular areas.

Very stylish place, not for its architecture style, its boutiques, or souvenir stores. There are a lot of pretty young ladies in exquisite makeup and nice blouses. They will ask you to visit their parlor to have massage. The place is like a labyrinth. When you walk alone you’ll probably get lost.

I visited in the afternoon Just massage spa and bar, come back at night, to find maybe more interesting, but no more different options,first I thought this town is about Japanese culture, unique products and brands and Japanese style, but what I found were numerous spa, especially adults one

A grid of narrow passageways with "snack bars" and karaoke bars in the rear; and delicious restaurants, a few massage parlors and a lot of touts in the front. Go in the day to see it best, though most of the truly great Japanese restaurants only open in the late afternoon. At night you will be harassed as you push through the gauntlet of tight alleyways.

During the day, this place is mostly lackluster - although the "front" of the alleys are filled with respectable Japanese restaurants. At night, this place is very lively and a fun visual. However, you will be constantly harassed by "massage" girls and bar girls. If you want solid Japanese food and an average environment, go during the day. If you want "massage" and grossly over inflated drinks with a HIGH chance of being scammed, go at night. NEVER use a credit card here.

I love the little alley ways in Japan Town, lots of restaurants and massage parlours places to explore and about 10,000 bikes parked everywhere. The place comes alive at night and is super quiet during the day.
