"This small Ktown restaurant is great for group dinners that call for controlled party vibes and K-Pop bangers. Nights at Dae Sung Ro feel like drinking beer in a cooler version of your friend's backyard shed (with glowing neon signs and the smell of barbecued fatty brisket rather than old fertilizer). The beef combo is a good deal for the amount of food you'll get, and includes a light soybean soup, wagyu brisket that melts like a snowflake, and sweet-marinated short ribs with the marbling of Italian granite. Plan on ordering the kimchi fried rice and cool, salty naengmyeon with young radish, both a la carte. They're ultimately what you'll be thinking about on the car ride home. "Nights at Dae Sung Ro feel like drinking beer in a cooler version of your friend’s backyard shed (with glowing neon signs and the smell of barbecued fatty brisket rather than old fertilizer). If you’re coming to this small KBBQ spot in Koreatown with a group of three or more, get the beef combo. The set's banchan selection is pretty limited, but you'll likely be too distracted by hearty chadol doenjang and four cuts of meat—including sweet-marinated short ribs with the marbling of Italian granite—to mind. At $82, Dae Sung Ro's combo is a good deal for the amount of food you'll get. Round out your meal with a la carte sides like kimchi fried rice and cool, salty naengmyeon with young radish. That's what you'll ultimately be thinking about on the car ride home." - Sylvio Martins

Amazing experience! The quality was great, the variety of banchans were tasty, the air was well ventilated, not smoky, and the vibes were super cool! I did wish they had a combo option where none of the meat is marinated. Still, I would definitely come again :)

A Retro Vibe and Top-Quality Meat! This place has an amazing retro atmosphere, and the quality of the meat is outstanding at a reasonable price. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, which made the whole dining experience even better. From a variety of meat ordered I tried pork skin dipped in sweet soybean powder for the first time — and it was a total game-changer. Highly recommended! From the flavor to the service and ambiance, everything was perfect. Definitely planning to come back!

Overall had a great experience here. Its definitely fusion, but the meats and banchan everything is done well. Everything here was good, but nothing that was outstanding. I'm going to add this place to the rotation as it offers a great vibe and a unique offering compared to other kbbq places around.

Absolutely BECAME MY FAVORITE INSTANTLY Omg great service, the vibe itself feels like Korean Style Bar, but their main is meat. Now the best part starts here, their quality of the meat is AMAZING. Stew is like something I never had anywhere. Their sauce is on point!!! Please do me a favor and try their hot sauce. I am in LOVE with it. They even cook the meat for you, and also try their fried rice. It is a ONE OF A KIND. There's nothing bad to point out. Their parking is with Valet. Love the vibe of this place also. I wonder why this place was not known already. I am definitely coming back here. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE KNOWN!!!! Thank you guys so much for an amazing place!!!!

This is my favorite spot for Korean barbecue. Both the pork and beef combos are so good and they come with enough meat for 3 people. The side dishes are really good (cucumber kimchi is particularly good in my opinion). The combos also come with stew and both options are really good. I go pretty often and it’s always amazing.

We got the beef combo for 3 of us ($35 something after tax and tip pp). It was a decent amount of food for 3 of us, but I did eat a lot of salad and we are all girls so do with that information as you will. The price/quality/service is really good! There were a lot of older Korean men and people which is a very good sign. Good price and good meat, I will come back. The dipping sauces are kinda interesting tho…

I can’t wait to eat here again. Vibe, food, service - all good. They have combo meals (seems like a good deal!) or you can order individual entrees. Each entree portion is good for about one person. If you have an healthy appetite, you probably need to order more than one dish. I wish they had a pork and beef combo though. Parking is kind of tough in the area and they have a (really) small lot for valet. I think it was $3.
