Food is unbelievably good. Like really good. Chicken Pesto Sando delish, fries delish. Place is lovely, will come back for sure.

This is a gem on river road with outdoor seating, great service and wonderful food. I had the buffalo and blue sandwich with onion rings and macaroni salad. The sandwich was served on a brioche bun which was delightful on is own. The onion rings were crispy outside and soft inside, I only ordered a half order and couldn't finish it, so be aware. The macaroni salad was a special that day. It was different than what I'm used to, however, delicious. The flavor really complimented the sandwich and I'm glad I tried it. I've been here before and had their dessert which is naive and unbelievably good. Didn't have room this time but look forward to sharing it with family next time we are in the area.

We love coming here and have been coming for years. It continues to be great now that we have a toddler because there’s a great outdoor space for him to run around. Love that they have local beers and wine. The wings are delicious, and we always love the burger and tri tip sandwiches. Their soups are also delicious (clam chowder and beef stew were standouts!). If you have room, the brownie sundae was massive. They do have a smaller kitchen so you might have to wait a little if you go during the busiest times of the day, but the team there will give you an estimate and in our experience it’s always faster than they say. Plus you can enjoy a drink while you wait! Love the pub and will be back soon!

We stopped at the Russian River Pub on our way to the Armstrong Redwoods and couldn't have been more thrilled by our experience! The Killer Prime Rib melt was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. We can't wait to return next time we are back in town!

Sat at the bar to get a quick bite to eat after an afternoon of wine tasting. We did build your own burgers with a beef burger and beyond burger. Both burgers came out delicious. Bartenders and staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday afternoon. They had a slight rush as we got in, but were still quick to take our order and get the food out. All the food was delicious, and I would recommend the Tri Tip Sandwhich. The horseradish is a tad on the spicy side, but worked great with the Bleu cheese. If you're in the area, I'd 100% recommend stopping in. As a side note, we had thought our keys got locked in the car while dining and the staff were all amazing and kind while we sorted everything out offering us water and a table as well as a phone if we needed it.

As you enter the front door, it is a bit odd to see restroom sign first thing😄. Plenty of shaded parking too!

Was very busy, so it was a bit of a wait, but we had great accommodating service. Food was very tasty, everyone was happy. We ate inside as it was a hot day and the temp was perfect. Not too loud. Crab cake sandwich 5/5 Waffle fries 4/5 Dr. Pepper was great Corn dog 5/5 Pulled pork sandwich 5/5 Chili 5/5

This is a really nice place with a friendly staff. A great place to grab a sandwich or burger. I'm sure they have many other things on the menu, but I can't stop ordering the burgers or the French dip. Both are excellent. They have a nice assortment of local beers on tap. All of the tap beers are really good and cold. The outside patio is really nice and has umbrellas on every table, keeping the sun off you you. The view to the road is blocked by some really nice vines and gives you a comfortable feeling while eating. By the way, there is no reason I don't give it 5 stars, but it does deserve 5. Again, great staff. And, forgot to mention there is a small indoor dining room as well as a front dining area outdoors by the entrance. The french fries and onion rings are excellent and also have a pretty good selection of wine, not a lot, but good enough.

Decent food, very poor service, cool space. They can forget you are alive for a long time. If you poke them a lot you are sure to be fed and have a nice time,

After a few hours of tubing down the Russian River, my girlfriend, a few friends, and I decided to stop by here for a late lunch as it was close by and had been featured previously on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. We arrived around 2:30 PM. There was plenty of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating available. We opted for indoor seating as it was a scorcher today in Forestville. Once we were seated, our orders were promptly taken. My girlfriend and I shared an order of Mozzarella Styx and Waffle Fries. For our entrees, I got the French dip, and my girlfriend got a build-your-own burger. While I didn't have any alcoholic drinks with my meal, the beer menu looked very solid, and I definitely would have had one if I hadn't been dehydrated from tubing in the sun earlier. The food took about 20 minutes to come out, which was perfectly reasonable. We overheard one of the staff members mention that the kitchen is on the smaller side, so food may take some time. The waffle fries were solid - they had a crispy exterior and were seasoned relatively well. The Mozzarella Styx felt more like prepackaged/frozen ones, but I wasn't complaining (I was hungry). My favorite item from the meal was my entree - the French dip sandwich. The meat was shaved super thin, tender, and seasoned really well. The jus on the side was also perfect. The only thing I wish I knew is that you can modify sandwiches - I would have added some cheese (provolone or mozzarella) and some hot peppers. My girlfriend's burger also looked really good. It was loaded with toppings and made exactly to her liking. To wrap up, this is a great place to wind down and grab a bite after a day of drifting down the river and I'd definitely stop by here again (and grab a beer next time too).

This place is great for outdoor drinking and eating so delish food! Service was great and quick but not pushy at all. Id love if they had some music outside, something low to enjoy while having some drinks but regardless this place is great! Bring cash if possible, they obviously add a fee if a card is used since they get charged a fee as well.

I am just going to give this place a five star rating, from start to finish my wife and I very much enjoyed our time. This is my first time here, which is crazy seeing how close we are. We came here for lunch and the place was hopping, we were able to get a quick seat, but were advised there would be a 30 minute wait for the kitchen, which was fine by us as we ordered a couple beers. I believe I got a seismic and my wife a lager, both were delicious, we chose outdoor, so review is confined to that searing, ambiance outdoors was perfect, they also have picnic grounds that allow for corn hole and horseshoes. Now the food, we ordered a chicken (grilled) chicken sandwich, a hamburger and some fries. We like ranch so had that added as well, for a little up charge. My chicken burger was superb and was served on a brioche bun, the fries were great along with the home made ranch. They do tack on an extra 3.5% I believe it was for using a credit card, but they do offer an atm on the premises. I didn't get a chance to check out the inside of the place, or the restrooms, but the outdoors was great... also pet friendly. Will definitely return.

Come for the wings and stay for the relaxed vibes. I always bring my dog to the Russian River and this place is so dog friendly and has some yard games so you can stay a while! Service is beyond friendly, just a great relaxed environment! I only took pics of the brownie sundae which wow that was a great decision.

Wonderful little laid-back pub along the Russian river, local vibe, and dog friendly. they have indoor and outdoor seating with a nice patio and a grassy area for cornhole.

Enjoyed an early dinner the other day here and sat outside. It's a nice outdoor spot with bocci ball amd just to relaxed with a drink. They have a full bar and a pretty big menu. Portions were large, prices were good and overall we were all satisfied. Chicken wings were the favorite at our table, as well as a house salad, waffle fries and super yummy ranch dressing. Least favorite was the crab cake Looking forward to our next visit.

After a day tubing on Russian river we stopped at Russian river pub for an early dinner I got clam chowder cup and 2 crab cakes $6 each..also a root beer float..other ppl got wings and beer waffle fries etc Nice atmosphere at the river

As a fellow chicken wing lover - this place was amazing!! My favorite was the buffalo sauced wings ~ they were cooked perfectly crisp with the perfect ratio of sauce. I loved the outdoor dinning areas :)

This is a pretty awesome place to kick back and relax when you are in this out-of-the-way area! We stopped by around 1 PM after tasting at Korbel a minute up the road. It was busy, but there were still plenty of tables and space. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food, but we were warned about that in advance so we could make an informed choice (appreciate that!). While we waited, we enjoyed the mild weather outside, some games of horseshoes and corn hole. Lots of space and shade, tons of dogs, and friendly service. I enjoyed my burger, kid enjoyed her chicken tenders, and they had some good local taps. Pub food for sure--nothing fancy--but tasty and filling. I would definitely come here again.

Slow service on a holiday weekend, but good food and drinks nonetheless. All of their menu prices are cash. They add 3.75 percent to charges on your card. Super slow service on the day we went, but they may have been understaffed? Who knows. My spicy smoked chicken sandwich was great! Good flavor and just a bit of heat. Everyone left happy. I'd return when in the area.

Simply delicious. This place is home to what some call the "best wings" in Sonoma County... so as a wing connoisseur, I had to weigh in. Pretty delicious, I'll say. They come crispy with sauces on the side. Meaty and fresh, the wings were top notch. I finished off with a pesto bacon pepperjack burger on a brioche bun. Phenomenal after 18 holes of golf at Northwood. Our service was also great, with many televisions to watch college football as we ate. Great local spot out on the river!!

I came to this place because the location was right next to a campground that I stayed at Riverbend and I saw it on diners drive-ins and dives so I had to try it. I ended up getting the prime rib with the Fixins or the special prime rib sandwich, and I have to say that this was very mediocre to me, I went back the next day and ordered wings and I must say that these are the best wings that I've ever had. I mixed the barbecue sauce with the buffalo sauce and it was excellent. The wings were well cooked and prepared excellently. I would go back just for the wings, I would tread very lightly on ordering anything else at this point

Love this place on a sunny day, it's still pretty good if it's raining. I had the Stoked by Henhouse to drink and the crabcake sandwich. I liked the sandwich but it was a bit oily. Whoever makes their bread is pretty amazing. Servers were very attentive and the patio is awesome

This review was removed stating incorrect location. I am reviewing Russian River Pub in Guernville: First, the staff are awesome, attentive, & friendly! I won't have a bad word said about them! The food was underwhelming. I had the 10 wings for $19 and a Diet Coke for $3.50. They advertised the wings as seen on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. The wings were small, overcooked, & sad. Just straight Frank's Hot Sauce, too. There's no excuse these days to serve anemic wings like that. And definitely not for $19. I was going to order a burger but had enough disappointment. I paid my $32 and rode on. Your staff deserves better.

We had a party of 22 going down the Russian River, so I called Wendy to arrange for a large party. She put together several appetizing prix fixe choices and we opted for the BBQ buffet (ribs, chicken, slaw, baked beans, corn bread). When we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Pitchers of Pliny were ordered and showed up immediately. The food was cooked to perfection and was absolutely mouth-watering. Throughout the meal, Wendy and Heidi were very attentive. I give Wendy and the Russian River Pub the highest recommendation possible. We love this place and especially the people!

Disappointing what COVID has done to this place. This is an $18 garden salad. WTF I used to come for their chicken tenders, which still are amazing, but they give you two tenders instead of three now, and raised their prices. Booooooo

Great service... and then the food was delicious!! Pleasantly surprised after a day of tubing that we could eat so well with a wonderful selection of the best local beers!!

The food was fabulous! The pulled pork... OMG!...Out of this world! I would drive 20 miles just for this! A nice selection of chilled beverages as well as plenty of iced pup water! Staff was very attentive and 200% on point! Hard to control things: It was hot, not much air flow, air coolers were located on the road side patio; misters seemed to be located on the lawn area where there was no seating, so not sure what that was for actually. Ugh... how to fix these hot weather things???

VERY dog friendlly - lots of pups, they bring water, have a lovely grassy area fo pups to explore and even special items on the menu for our pups - love this about them. Service was so-so but we really didn't care. 2 peeps had burgers and I had a patty melt and we shared some very yummy fries. Excellent offering of local fun beers. Worth a visit for sure.

This place rocks! Excellent selection of locally made beers, from pilsners to double ipas and everything in between. Nice indoor restaurant sitting area, but if the weather is nice kick back outside in the huge patio area. It is dog friendly and they bring out a water bowl for Fido, so that's awesome (and they even have a cheap chopped hamburger dog meal on menu. The non canine menu is excellent, we had the spicy chicken wings and the Au jus prime rib sandwich and both were amazing. They also have a full bar w all cocktails wine etc. this place was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive Ins and Dives (on his pilot) and you can view the episode on YouTube for free. Cheers!

Visited this place with some friends from out of town and had a good time. They had outdoor seating that was dog friendly which is great! Food was good and they had a large menu to select from. Service was good but we had about 4 different waiters visit our table to take orders, check up on us, etc. overall good visit!

My four friends and I decided to have dinner at Russian River Pub on August 3, 2024. I have eaten there several times before, and the pulled pork sandwich is absolutely awesome. We checked in with the hostess in the patio area and were told it would be about a 15 minute wait. After about 5 minutes waiting in the dirty parking lot, I told the guys that I wanted to see the garden area and rest of the property. They followed me into the patio area and we were immediately yelled at by the bartender, "What! You think you can just walk in here?" I tried to explain that we had already checked in with the hostess and just wanted to see the property. The hostess turned to the bartender and confirmed that we were waiting on a table. The bartender NEVER apologized or recognized her error. We IMMEDIATELY left for another restaurant in Guerneville!

4 members of our party entered the pub and before we got in good the person serving drinks gave us a look and said how many while shaking her head no. We said 9 and she said no we don't have enough room. There were 7 open seats at the bar at the time. Didn't ask us to wait a minute just scowled shaking her head no. Didn't say I'm sorry or express any interest in accommodating our group. HOW RUDE!!!!

Cool fun pub. I guess one of the first on Diners, drive ins, and drives. Know for their wings. They were good. Tri tip sandwich was great! Service was excellent. I asked to buy a shirt (xl) was told they were sold out. but the time we were leaving they had found me an XL shirt! Great outdoor seating. Cool and funky inside.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere outside on the patio, and my daughter and husband played horseshoes while we waited for our food. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was pretty good. My son didn't care for the chicken on his Caesar salad and said it didn't seem cooked enough. My husband had a steak sandwich that he said was good but not great. I did enjoy my Russian River Pale Ale, and would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

What a great little place, added a big outdoor area since CovId too. It looks way too hot to sit outside so we enjoyed the air-conditioning at the bar. I have been to this bar many many times. I just never reviewed it. They definitely renovated. It looks very nice. the bartenders were very cool and interesting. We ordered the wings because that's what they're known for. They were cooked perfectly a nice crispy outside and nice and juicy inside. We only ordered the barbecue, but next time will try the original buffalo prices are reasonable.

Great place to grab a burger and a beer! Ask for Laura, she's the BEST - always takes great care of us!! Favorite new river spot!

What a gem on River Rd. We sat outside in the lovely outdoor area, and watch the kids play horseshoes. My sister had a cheeseburger and I had the French dip, we split a half order of fries. The service was on point and we had a fun time.

Food was amazing!!! Stopped here on the way back from the redwoods and I'm so glad we did. We tried the wings, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Super cute outside seating available with a yard for dogs and people to lounge around while playing. Staff was helpful as well and really awesome people.

This place is awesome! My friend and I stopped here kinda randomly and were both impressed. We were greeted by friendly staff and even invited to bring our dog along since they have outdoor seating with plenty of room and atmosphere. I saw an area for corn hole as well. It seems like a great place for large groups. The food was tasty and the beer was so good! I'm excited to come back here next time I'm in town. Shout out to our waiter who was so nice and accommodating! Thank you!

Russian River Pub did surpass my expectations. I was going into it, thinking that this was going to have typical bar food. But the place had a large variety of foods, and the pasta salad and clam chowder were delicious. They also had tri tips and other types of meats available that were delicious. The party I came with was large (9 people), but we were seated immediately, so there were plenty of tables available. Highly recommend trying this place if you're in the area!

Best wings in NorCal, hands down. Crispy not fatty. Perfectly cooked. Served with REAL homemade blue cheese dressing and crunchy fresh celery sticks. I've occasionally deviated to other menu items, but these wings are slap-your-mama good, as they say in the South, so I just keep coming back. Pair with their North Coast Brewing Old No. 38 Stout served on draft, and now you got yerself a righteous wingding. Say hi to one of the patio pooches as they stare thru you in that way only a canine can. Smile back, knowing they know what you did, and will tell all the others. And when you see the enormous black 4WD "A-Team" rig come rollin in, certain Mr. T is gonna come bounding out of that thing, don't act surprised when the hardest working restauranteur steps out instead. No, that's not Linda Carter. It's Wendy, and you're just as likely to see her emptying trash cans as greeting customers or policing her kitchen. #RRPUB #RRGRUB

Love it here! The food and drinks are great. When we camp in the area, we enjoy plenty of drinks and food here.

We stopped at this place after hearing it was on DDD! Great outdoor patio and yard that overlooks the river basin. We ordered the clam chowder to start which was AMAZING. The steak sandwiches are all pretty good as well. Ask for the horseradish sauce if it doesn't already have it! The meal was pretty heavy so we all left feeling groggy but otherwise happy.

Excellent food service and dog friendly we had a great time here. A full bar also with plenty of room. French fries and onion rings to die for along with great chicken wings and french au ju. Sandwiches. Overall a fun and friendly place.

Hands does the best and only place to go for buffalo wings along the Russian River. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, just the right amount of kick, homemade ranch dressing and sooooo yummy! Service is as friendly as can be, too! :)

Dog friendly on the patio which is nice. Ticket times (to get food) were an hour long. Everything showed up to the table cold, which is not ideal, especially for fried food. Service was lackluster, bill was $130 for two, server was rude. Could have been a better experience :(

This review is looong overdue. I used to live 10 min away from RRP & so it was one our go to stops, especially over the summer. This place is chill & has good vibes. In the past, there was indoor & outdoor seating (not sure if it's just outdoor seating now). They have Russian River Brewing Beer available (yay!) & tons of great food. Check out their Facebook page for what's on their menu. In the summer, they'd have BBQ chicken platters & it was sooo good. I live in the City now & would go back for their BBQ & cornbread. It's very close to the river, so if you're headed in or out of Guerneville be sure to check them out. Tons of parking & dog friendly.

Eating out with an active toddler while on vacation can be tough on you, the restaurant, and other patrons. Not only does the Russian River Pub have a large yard for kids to run about, the food is also great and thoroughly unfussy (i recommend their wings) . On top of that, the abject terror the average parent faces while chasing a toddler away from their attempts at self-immolation, and other harm is softened considerably by a moderate amount of self medication via the solid beer list. The staff was also super kind and understanding. The best! It's also really close to a swim beach (sunset beach river park). 10/10. Highly recommend.

Great food; they were absolutely slammed on Sunday but everyone maintained a smile. We will stop back in on another drive through to the coast! Oh- and they also have a doggie menu so our pup was super pleased! Loved his burger

Pre-covid this restaurant was fantastic. Great good, good service and dog friendly. After Covid the restaurant has seen a decline. The prices have increased, the service has slowed, and I think the kitchen staff has changed. The food is not nearly as good as it was pre-2020. That being said, if you do go I would recommend the Tri Tip sandwich with the blue cheese and horseradish aioli sauce, onion rings and a cider. The beer and the views of the mountains are still worth stopping in for, especially if you are already in the area. This restaurant is conveniently located near Armstrong Woods.

We saw this place as highly rated online, then found out that it's been on DDD a bunch of times and one of Guy Fieri's favorites! The inside area is pretty small, but they have a huge outdoor space with a bunch of big tables and some grassy areas with horseshoes and cornhole. The NorCal beer selection was pretty good and the food was all excellent! The ribs had a super sweet raspberry BBQ sauce, though the ribs were a bit low on meat. The tri tip sandwich was excellent on a big fluffy bun with a nice creamy (spicy, but not too spicy) horseradish sauce. The prime rib dip was similar with a nice au jus dip. The pulled pork was lean and tasty and had a great sweet & smoky housemade BBQ sauce on it. But the star of the show were the wings. We got 20 in the buffalo sauce with ranch and blue cheese dressings and they were gigantic wings with a ton of juicy meat on them and a lot of drippy sauce (just the way I like it!). And both dressings were excellent on the side (the ranch was super herby and the blue cheese had a ton of crumbly chunky blue cheese in it).
