Once this ended, I immediately went to Royal Crown Bakery — which is my favorite place to eat on Staten Island. I grew up in Morris Park, an Italian enclave in the Bronx, so naturally, it’s my favorite food. I get an egg-and-cheese sandwich on their house bread and pick up cannoli for the road."
