"Whimsical Coffeeshop off the Stroget The rainy or cold weather can make walking down the famous Strøget in Copenhagen , Denmark in the off-season a little tiring. There's a little bit of magic just off the main walking street in the form of the Royal Cafe. The high pink walls and large windows let in a lot of light, which reflects off the artfully placed mirrors and display glasses. Rest on funky-patterned seats at small or large community tables and order a coffee or a custom smørrebrød known as a "Smushie" to warm up."

Outstanding cuisine, perfect blend between Asia and South-America. Texture, taste, presentation, spices, incredibly delicious. On top is the atmosphere of the restaurant, the Danes know how to do it. Pricing is a bit on the upper end, but given the quality still reasonable. The only downside was the wine. We had the eight-course-menue, and the wine probably only matched one or two. We do recommend corresponding wines to celebrate the food even more. The ceviche was unreal as most other courses. Fully recommended, we will go there next time when we are back in Copenhagen.

We went to Cafe Royal while visiting the Radisson Hotel and was not dissapointed. We ordered the two charcuterie dishes for starters and both ordered a cheeseburger for main course. It was all very delicious but way too much food for us - though we were quite hungry. The service was over the top and we felt well taken care of. Will definitely come back!

A pleasent place to enjoy breakfast/brunch, lunch or dinner! Having in mind that this is the restaurant of a hotel, the prices are pretty steep. However, this apply more to the dinner than breakfast, where both champagne and a la carte brunch weighs up for the price. Definitely go here if you stay at the hotel. Go here for brunch if you’re not staying!

A great fusion cuisine! This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I must say it is definitely a must. From the warm welcome of all the staff, to the carefully curated menu and delicious themed cocktails by Giorgi at the bar. We loved the chef's concept of "Japanese recipes with Peruvian ingredients", and the set menu is definitely worth value for money - best I've tried so far in the area. Pedro was a great host explaining step by step the curated dishes, were the carefully selected flavors take all the credit. My only suggestion would be adding an option of wine pairing to the Chef's set menu. Definitely recommend, I will visit again. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

We went to Café Royal for a post-dinner drink and we were positivest surprise. The bar area is cool and sofisticated but cozy at the same time. The drinks card was plentyful without one getting lost. Furthermore the drinks were of high quality and reasonably priced for Copenhagen. Now if you like classic Danish design the I recommend that you go up one floor (you can always use the retro furnished restroom as an excuse) and enjoy the various lamps, chairs and other furniture.

Had a lovely evening with my family, we tried some dishes from the Japanese and Peruvian fusion menu with a wonderful bottle of wine. Accompanied with the helpful, informative and entertaining service from Pedro!

Amazing place, afternoon tea (you get unlimited supply of tea) and the snacks (sandwiches, pastry etc.) tasted amazing and filled us so much, we had to take a walk afterwards 😅

Good place for a breakfast even if you don't stay in the hotel.
