Room Mate Giulia

This was our first time in Milan. We stayed for New Year’s Eve near the Duomo. No fireworks there, but they were at the castle. The hotel is close to everything we wanted to see we had such a great time.|The room (jr suite)was large, very clean and had a nice Romeo and Juliet balcony where we could open the doors and just watch people walk down the street. ||There’s also a restaurant (Pino) literally next-door so we ate there a couple times as it was convenient. Shopping and the Duomo Are less than two minute walk. We like the hotel so much we’d go back and have drinks there or in our room and relax for a little while before going back out. Super modern Fun design for the rooms.||The staff was phenomenal. The service was top-notch, Especially the awesome lady and food and beverage with the short gray hair she was so wonderful. We just didn’t catch her name. Breakfast service is €18 a day and well worth it. Just a great place all together.|Rahman always had a big smile, Andrea provided us with suggestions and help and Marco and Fabio were just awesome.||We will definitely stay here on our next trip

This is a classy, modern hotel that’s been thoughtfully designed and decorated throughout. ||It’s well staffed and customer focused. Everyone we encountered was polite, happy to help and spoke good English.||Room 512 was stylishly and logically laid out, with plenty of storage. The spacious bathroom has a great shower and quirky toiletries, and a makeup/shaving mirror (I wish more hotels had these!) The bed was large & comfy.||Breakfast was beautifully presented and had lots of choice. Staff promptly cleared away used plates (which stood out for us because this hasn’t happened at prior hotels on this trip).||The location is a bonus, with the stunning facade of the Duomo cathedral only metres away. The Metro station is also close by. The area is often crowded however, which can get frustrating and tiring at times, but it was great to pass through the square a few times a day, taking in the lively atmosphere.||The restaurants close by are quite touristy. We found the nearby Brera district a better dining option.||We enjoyed this hotel, and Milan was a fantastic city to visit.

Hotel was beyond our expectations. So much nicer than the big chains. Great decor and design. A perfect location with excellent staff. Pietro, Sara, and Fabio, the reception staff were excellent to deal with. Jeffrey the luggage porter was also very earnest and took great care. Would highly recommend this property.

Really enjoyed this property. The hotel is modern and hip. Service was great. Rooms were a good size and the bathroom was huge. The room and bathroom was super clean. The hotel is steps from the Galleria and Duomo. Would definitely stay at this property again. ||I did not realize I had breakfast included with my rate, so did not eat the hotel, but it looked like a good offering.

My wife and I visited Milano for four nights leading up to Christmas as part of a month long visit to Italy. Room Mate Giulia is situated perfectly for several days of civilized life. Mere steps from The Duomo, the Leonardo3 Museum, incredible restaurants, and world class shopping, we had a magnificent time. We walked for hours, and the sidewalks always seemed to naturally end up circling back to the hotel.||The entire staff are fantastic. There was a small problem with the room, but they handled it deftly, not hesitating to move us to a different one painlessly. They made us feel at home, addressing every need we had with style and grace. ||The Italian breakfast was delicious, with a considerable array of fruit, cereals, cakes, and some hot items.||It was a terrific experience, in an amazing city, and we'll look for an excuse to come back one day.

My first time in Milan and i was looking for a hotel close to Duomo. I came across the Room Mate Giulia hotel and booked two rooms for my family.||Upon arrival at the hotel, i was warmly greeted by all the staff members. The rooms were very clean and well appointed, and i especially loved the design of the rooms and bathrooms.||The location is simply incredible as the hotel is situated in the centre of Milan, close to the Duomo Cathedral and the main shopping areas.||The breakfast was served in a small cosy section on the ground floor and provided all the basics. The only criticism i would offer the hotel is being charged €10 for two fried eggs. I’ve never been charged for eggs at any hotel i’ve stayed in when breakfast was included, which i found quite peculiar.||However, apart from the additional breakfast surcharges, i would highly recommend the Room Mate Giulia hotel for a visit to Milan.

This hotel is amazing. From the staff to the rooms to the location, everything was 5-stars. Marco and Fabio at the reception desk always had smiles on their faces and were eager to please guests. The beds were wonderfully soft, the rooms clean, lots of hot water and the climate control worked admirably. Breakfast had a large selection of items to accommodate different cultural palates. The location is second to none and is within a short walking distance to the Galleria, the Duomo and a multitude of shops and restaurants. This was my second time to stay at this hotel and I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Milano.

This hotel is awesome! Efficient, friendly and professional staff. Everyone has a smile on their face. The location can’t be beat for shopping, site seeing and dining. Within walking distance of the major shops, the Duomo is right around the corner. It was my daughter’s birthday and when we returned to the room after a day of shopping, we were delighted to find a lovely note wishing her a happy birthday along with a chilled bottle of champagne. So thoughtful! Breakfast had an abundance of foods from which to select. Two beds in the room were each double sized and so wonderfully comfortable! I just can’t say enough about Marco at the front desk and the amazing staff. This is my second stay at the hotel and I will definitely stay here again when visiting Milan.

There are a lot of GREAT things about this hotel as well as one very annoying thing which is the only reason for the rating of 4 stars instead of 5. I'll start with the great things: the location is probably the best part. It is literally right next to the duomo and its square which means it is also right next to galleria vittoria emanuele. When our driver from the airport dropped us off at like 1:30am he was losing his shit like "how much did this place cost? it's right next to the duomo!!!!" When I say right next to, I mean like...half of block. The concierge are wonderful and very friendly. The space is beautiful. The decor gives me moody but modern vibes. The aesthetic was wonderful and the amenities (towel warmer in the bathroom, unless that's a common thing in Europe) were a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and the shower was incredible. The linens and towels were soft. We were offered a welcome glass of prosecco. We actually used one of the beverages in the mini bar, a ginger ale, and it was a REASONABLE PRICE. I could go on and on. What really pissed me off, however, was that it seemed like staff entered our room multiple times every day. One night it was very hot in our room which made it hard to sleep and it took forever to get the room cooler. The following day, prior to leaving for dinner, I turned down the thermostat to prevent what happened the night before. When we returned from dinner, the thermostat had been changed back to where it was. What the fuck? I can't set my own thermostat? Nothing else was different about the room so it's not like they came in to turn down the room. I don't know how else our thermostat could have been changed unless someone came into our room. One day of our stay, we came to the hotel to drop something off and our room had been made up. I think it's reasonable to assume no one would return to our room after that because what would be the purpose? We left again and when we returned later, there were literally staff IN OUR ROOM. They said "we were just checking the room". For what?! It seems so fucking bizarre and feels like an invasion of privacy. If you don't mind the above the hotel is great but I found it very irritating and invasive.

You'll love the location. Very convenient to all the attractions. Rooms are very quiet and the black out blinds work very well. Not sure what some people are complaining about the noise. We stayed for five nights and didn't hear a peep at night. Modern room. You'll be very happy u booked here.

This is the coolest and most comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in. So well decorated, super comfy beds, great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.

By far our nicest stay in Europe with a great central location. We came to shop and being close to the fashion district made it easy to walk everywhere . Gotta check out Navigli and Brera when you're here as well. Modern hotel and functional decor. Super quiet and wonderful staff. Clean and good amenities - won't need a thing!! I'll be back for sure !!! Sara also gave us super customer service and helped guide us around the area.

This hotel is fabulous! The location can't be beat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are really clean, nice and trendy. I can write highly recommend staying here and I'm pretty picky about my hotels.

We loved our stay at Room Mate Giulia. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional as we made our room reservation and had questions about getting an adjoining room for our children. The hotel offers a fun, fresh, modern decor without being too overbearing or tiring. Our showers were spacious and never ran out of hot water. The wifi worked readily and was reasonably fast. The room temperature was comfortable and easily adjustable; they must have radiant heat because we never felt forced air heat that tends to dry your skin out. The beds are firm and comfortable. The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It's a block away from the Duomo, La Scala, and in the heart of the Galleria. It is across the street from the Park Hyatt at a fraction of the cost. You are literally in the heart of everything and yet, the street that the hotel is on is very quiet. We would gladly stay here again the next time we are in Milan!

Excellent hotel in the center Milan Cathedral area of Milan. Room Mate Giulia puts your right where you want to be with the Cathedral, the oldest grand mall , plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. Hotel staff is amazing with clean rooms that are comfortable as well as showing some design flair.
