La Terrazza Rooftop Bar

Much smaller than the photos make it out to be, and very very expensive! We took a chance without a booking and stayed for 1 drink. €22 per cocktail... it was delicious but by far the most expensive drink of my holiday. View was lovely but not sure it would be worth returning too, there are better rooftop bars in Florence in my opinion. View from the toilet was a bonus!

An unforgettable Florentine moment at Divina Terrazza! Perched above the rooftops of Florence, the Divina Terrazza is quite literally a slice of heaven. As the sun dipped behind the majestic dome of the Duomo, we sipped on masterfully crafted cocktails and spritz, each one a symphony of flavor and finesse. But what truly made this evening divine was the warm, radiant welcome of Mohammed Ali, the heart and soul of the experience. With elegance, charm, and perfect French, he orchestrated our evening with such grace that we felt like royalty. A true maestro of hospitality! The view, the drinks, the light, the laughter — it all blended into a golden Tuscan dream. Great view, but the bar clearly shows disparate treatment toward non-Caucasian customers. We were a party of three. When we arrived, several tables had just been vacated. The bar manager claimed they were all reserved and directed us to sit at the countertop instead. However, multiple parties arrived after us—without reservations—and were seated at those same tables. When I confronted the bar supervisor, he said the tables could only accommodate two people. As shown in the photo below, most parties of two were sitting on the same side with an empty chair, making it clear that these tables could easily fit three. His explanation was completely unfounded. After 30 minutes and several confrontations, we were finally seated—at a table identical to the ones given to the other parties. The waitress was nice and the only highlight. I would avoid this bar at all costs.

I visited your venue this afternoon for a quick drink but unfortunately decided to leave shortly after arriving. The staff member at the ground floor was lovely and welcoming. However, the gentleman upstairs was quite dismissive and unaccommodating, which left a negative impression. Despite the venue being nearly empty (only two tables were occupied, with one just about to leave), I was asked if I had a reservation and was made to wait unnecessarily. I politely requested to sit at a shaded table, but was told it was reserved, in two hours’ time. I explained that I was only staying for one drink and would happily move if a larger group arrived, but my request was refused. When I pushed back, he reluctantly agreed but did so with visible attitude and an eye-roll, which I found unprofessional and unnecessary. I ultimately chose to leave. It’s disappointing to experience such poor hospitality, especially when the venue was far from busy. I hope this feedback is taken on board to help improve future customer experiences.

Was a bit hesitant about this place as I thought it might be a huge tourist trap and very over priced, but was pleasantly surprised!!! My bf and I got signature cocktails which were 22 euros each but SO good and came with lots of chips and nuts to snack on. View was AMAZING and sunset over the river was perfect. Definitely recommend even for one drink.

Wonderful spot for coffee or cocktails. A great choice for a quick stop where you can enjoy the view and runaway from the craziness on the busy streets.

Boyfriend & I went here pre-dinner for a drink and did not make a reservation given the 35 euro per person deposit it requires. We were seated right away but were told we could only stay for half an hour. Other reviews have it right, drinks are overpriced, but the ambiance & view are definitely nice. Place met our expectations, but is a small space and, in my opinion, overhyped. All in all, we chose to not return the next day, although this was across the street from our hotel

I visited on a Sunday night looking for a pre-dinner cocktail with a view. This place delivered. The rooftop was at capacity when I arrived but the hostess was very polite and the wait was under 10mins. They made an excellent Negroni classico (although overpriced at €18) and the sunset was unreal. I can't recommend this spot enough for the view alone. Highly recommend 5/5.

Easily one of the best rooftop experiences in Florence. You'll find the entrance at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio just roll into the front door of the Continental hotel, the elevator is straight ahead take it to the roof. The space is small so the pro tip is to go right when it opens... mid afternoon... or after dinner... otherwise you could experience a wait. Once in, the place has some chill house music rolling, a small menu of beer and wine along with a full bar... and some of the best views Florence has to offer. It's small but classy comfortable and a great place to start or end your day at. There is no food, but they do bring you chips, nuts, etc. when you order your drinks.

The atmosphere is fabulous - rooftop view of Florence gives you new perspective, as the cobblestone streets fade away, and the beautiful rolling hills around the city are easily seen. Good music and vibe. Pretty people of all ages definitely like this place. Service was good. Cocktails good. Nothing truly stands out, so don't come for the drinks. Come for the cool vibe, and for feeling rather fabulous and cosmopolitan. If you are staying at one of the sister hotels, you can also get 10% off. It's not a lot, but it always helps.

The ambience is great and the decor was really well thought out. The prices were VERY inflated and the service was terrible! I think the server actually forgot about us. It took close to 20 minutes for a glass of wine and one cocktail. The cocktail was $19 euro and the glass of wine was $15 euro. We pay these prices back home for rooftop views and ambience, but always have quick and friendly servers.

This is a fun bar. It's trendy. It's cool. The drinks are great. The views are incomparable as well. Dress trendy, it's one of those lounges. If that's your scene then by all means, drop on by. I do have to say this though. You will wait for your drink. Only 1 bartender and the orders stack up. Even for a small place, the service is slow. But, if you just relax, enjoy the scenery, do a little people watching, there's no problem at all. None whatsoever.
