What an amazing, relaxing experience! From arrival right to the departure every encounter has been lovely We booked the honeymoon suite, which is a loft with the most beautiful little detail - well thought of and simple. The staff deserves a 10 star rating. They are by far the difference between good and superb! They are authentically friendly, nothing is too much to ask. They are on every detail and available anytime you need. The service has been so refreshing and other hotels etc. can learn a thing or 20 from The Small Robertson Hotel. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful surrounded with nature the property is well managed and looked after the most care. You should open up more small hotels ;) Well done!

Our stay here was exceptional! The staff are fantastic and the hotel itself is like an oasis. We never wanted to leave! From the moment we checked in to when we left, everything was idyllic. We ate dinner at the restaurant where Tarryn, our server, hosted us and provided excellent recommendations and conversation. We will definitely be back and are eager to try the other Living Journey Boutique hotels!

Absolutely perfect for a relaxed getaway. The rooms are really cozy and beautiful and the staff is super nice and welcoming. Would highly recommend for a short or long term stay if you feel like having a few days to just calm down. Food at the restaurant is also really good so no need to leave the hotel if you don’t feel like going somewhere

It was the 4th time that we stayed at this little paradise, for obvious reasons. Walter the friendly and competent manager greets you with a smile on his face. The fully equipped and lovely decorated rooms, the swimmingpool and restaurant were fantastic. The service by the friendly and attentive staff was impeccable. What I experienced the first time ever to be greeted by a staff member by saying good morningmorning, I'm Chante, I'm a trainee and appreciate to serve you today. I believe Chante, after some more experience will be a first class service ambassador for the benefit of the ROBERTSON SMALL HOTEL. I have two recommendations and that is to please replenish the wine bottles more regularly and to have different dinner menus from one day to the next.

Excellent place to base self for Robertson and food really excels, it’s my 4th visit and I think food is best it’s been. The Moroni g carrot cake muffin was sublime . Food is truely excellent. Tasty, imaginative and well presented plus the delightful young lady - Chante i think - who was a trainee, made our meal experience

The BEST! Everything was perfect. I loved the attention to detail, from the decor, bedding, design, to how the staff treated us, as royalty! My favorite part was definitely walking into the swimming pool from my room patio. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs. highly recommend and will definitely be back.

What a beautiful Boutique Hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in a amazing room, clean, comfy the bathroom are a dream with open showers and underfloor heating. The staff are welcoming and always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and you definitely need to have dinner at the restaurant, food and wine was excellent. The garden is stunning, everything clean and you feel relaxed. Well done, we had a fantastic time.

Room was tidy and clean but not worth the amount of money per night. Dining at the restaurant NOT recommended, we paid R170 for a 2-slice ciabatta chicken and mayo sandwich, no garnish, chips or side salad. Why must we as locals pay tourist rates?
