We enjoyed our lunch here in the sunshine. The food was delicious and the chef had a very light touch. We tried the sardines, calamari and one of the pasta dishes with tuna. Unfortunately, some of the dishes weren’t available that we fancied from our first choices bit the ones we had didn’t disappoint. The desserts were good but didn’t excite as much as the previous courses. We also had the Prosecco which was lovely. The service was fantastic, first class, and really attentive without being overbearing.

What a delightful spot! The food was absolutely delicious, and the place has a charming, upscale vibe that makes it feel special. While the rooftop was closed on the day I visited, the views of Burano’s bright, colorful houses were still stunning from the restaurant. Perfect for a relaxed meal with a beautiful backdrop. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting this vibrant island!

Best carbonara I have ever tasted! Service was excellent as well. Very reasonable prices for an amazing experience. The meringue for dessert was perfect too.

We had an amazing time. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and let us know about the specials of the day not listed on the menu. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious and creative! We were taught a little bit of Italian by another waiter! Overall this resteraunt was a 5/5!

We came in here as soon as we arrived in Burano as we were hungry. Pros: good location, really lovely decor, and friendly service. And the go risotto was very nice and different, though subtle. Cons: service was a little on the intense side and we felt a bit rushed to order. And while the taste was good, my friend's scallop gnocchi dish was shockingly small in portion size. Overall, good enough, but you don't feel fully satisfied that you've got your money's worth, even adjusting for the fact that you're in an expensive part of the world.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide. The service was outstanding. Our server recommended a great bottle of wine and was very helpful when we were deciding on what to order. The food was probably the best we had in the 10 days we were in Italy. The risotto di "go" was delicious as was the special appetizer of artichokes and scallops. Highly recommend.

This place has my heart, since I was a child. They always answer the phone, they are so accommodating about time and date changes for the reservation. I was with three friends - some foreigners. We arrived early with two dogs and they kept our suitcases safe whilst we visited Burano. Impeccable service for both humans and puppies. The staff were smiley, kind, absolutely welcoming. They know how to translate every kind of fish species in English so you know exactly what you are going to eat. If I could, I would give them 6 stars. And I am waiting for the private terrace to open again because it is an experience you cannot forget ever. Plus a great wine list - short but good quality. No need to say anything else no? Just go!!!!

Yelp
Highly recommend when you visit Burano!! Great views, the seafood here is so fresh, and service was amazing. It's a nice people watching spot and I love that the portions were a perfect size. Delicious!

Yelp
I would warn other visitors to the island not to eat at this restaurant as it will make you very disappointed. To show other customers the ingredients, this dish is the state when I haven't eaten it yet, just a salad leaf and a small piece of eggplant. And a very, very small piece of fish. How much is this dish? Tell you it's 27 euros, plus a service charge of 3.5 euros. With such a small number of dishes and such a high price, not only this one dish, but almost all the dishes are of the same level. I don't understand why this restaurant is Michelin. Also the service is so bad that you can hardly get a waiter. I wanted to add more dishes to fill my stomach, but the waiter was unable to bring me the menu, which made me very disappointed.

Yelp
Say what?!! A view and a delicious meal? This was the best spaghetti and clam we've had on this trip and we are all weekend. I'd also said it was the best pasta we had. Perfectly al dente and butter and salt it to glorious profession. We sat outside and had the most beautiful view. The wait staff is really professional and takes great care of you.

Yelp
The rat I seen behind the bar said it all. The rat might have been friendlier than the management, pure arrogance. I know it is hard to get good hospitality staff but this is Burano, surely the owner is being stingy by paying low salaries. Stinks of greed. Stay away for the sake of hospitality wages...

Naomi J.

Yelp
We ordered the vegetarian soup and asked them to add pasta (that was DELICIOUS). My partner got the cuttlefish ink pasta (just good). We were not impressed with their Aperol Spritz or Campari Spritz, and the prices seemed too high for how good the food was.

Yelp
Such a cute place for a light lunch when we arrived to Burano. They sat us inside since we entered from the other side. We didn't know until later there was an outdoor area. Definitely loved the view so we relocated outside. Didn't want something too heavy so we opted for the mussels linguine. I didn't know it was tomato based and I was a little disappointed at first but after taking a bite I was surprised at how good it was . Delicious! 5/5 The seafood platter was great as well since it came with a selection of Various seafood like scallops , shrimp , and an octopus. I really liked the scallops . I found it interesting how they the orange looking thing next to it was the scallop tongue. Very delicious , had the consistency of liver. Overall it was a great selection. 5/5 The only thing that was a miss was dessert. Ordered a molten "lava cake " and had no clue there was a lemon meringue underneath it. It was too overpowering. Not my Favorite . 1/5 Overall service was great the food was satisfying and the view was beautiful . Loved the little town of burano.

Yelp
fancy sit down dining in burano! the seafood here was so fresh and tasty. we got a tasting platter of a bunch of seafood like scallops, baccala, anchovies with onion, etc. everything was sooo yummy and well-balanced. we got the nero di seppia with polenta and the cuttlefish was SO fresh and soft i had to stop to think about it. it was a liiiittle salty but still so so delicious. the gnocchi with mushroom and scallops was comforting and good as well, but idk if i would get again bc it didn't blow me away. highly recommend stopping by for a meal if you're in burano!

Yelp
My family and I came here after a long day of touring around the islands. We had a reservation, although, in hindsight, it was likely unneeded. We were seated outside, which was lovely; however, I got a lot of mosquito bites due to such. Seafood tasting plate was amazing. The only miss I had with it was the baccalà mantecato on a biscuit; it tasted overly rich and not as light as other ones we have tried. Otherwise, the seafood was fresh and flavoured nicely. My brother ordered the gnocchi. It was amazing. I ordered a freshly caught sea bream. The fish was cooked perfectly; creamy, with crispy skin. The veggies on the side however were lukewarm, which didn't exactly bother me but wasn't extremely pleasant. For dessert, we had tiramisu which was highly enjoyable. Overall, I do think this restaurant is a bit overpriced comparing to other restaurants where we've had better for less, but I believe it is a good option to eat at in Burano and watch the sunset.

Aysha K.

Yelp
Risotto, burger, gnocchi were amazing. Gnocchi was pillowy soft. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Tiramisu was amazing. The food was SO GOOD. THEY WERE SO NICE THEY GAVE US ANOTHER TIRAMISU!!! I love this place.

Cecilia K.

Yelp
Visited Burano and noticed the Michelin award as we were walking by so decided to try it for lunch. We were not disappointed. We had the black ink pasta with seafood, which they were able to substitute gluten-free pasta for my husband's dish. The seafood was amazing and pasta perfectly cooked.

Stephen Y.

Yelp
What a quaint little restaurant! Wait staff are friendly, the spritz Campari are the best! Food is fresh and well made, tasty and perfectly portioned. Even my daughter likes it!

Ellie H.

Yelp
Their paccheri with tuna fish is a must-try, really really tasty. We've had quite a few great pastas along our way, but this one is definitely among our top list. We also ordered the fried mixed seafood with catch of the day, served with fried veggies, that one is also delicious. The prawns in particular are so fresh and you can taste the sweetness in them. The price is a little bit on the higher end but reasonable. This seafood experience is so much better than the restaurant we went to in Cinque Terre! The service is also great. We were originally seated inside and one of the servers offered us a table outside to have our main course once there was vacancy, and we really appreciated it.

Yelp
We stopped by for a quick lunch but wish we actually had more time to eat. Perfectly done pasta dishes. Tasty to say the least. Perfectly al dente pastas. If you happen to be near by, it is a must try restaurant. They do charge 3.5 Euros per person for cover charge, but then again you are in a touristy area...

Yin T.

Yelp
Great place for lunch if you enjoy outdoor breeze with a colorful backdrop. The inside is very quaint and charming and absolutely romantic. We had a refreshing Italian spritz and tried the cuttlefish ink pasta, and clams in tomato broth, both very good... the branzino was great, but to our surprise, a total rip off when the bill came. Lol, other than that, great restaurant!

Pam T.

Yelp
Amazingly good food, on a beautiful canal in the heart of Burano. Plenty of outdoor seating, though we always prefer to sit inside. Reservations a must. Excellent service and truly delicious food. Try the bacalao or the sarde in saor. Both, a wonderful way to start a meal. We always split the frito misto for our main. Takes us to our happy place.

Shannon G.

Yelp
This was absolutley my favorite meal in Italy. We showed up with no reservation and a party of 9, with 2 guests that had to be gluten free. They could not have been more wonderful and accommodating. The food was amazing from the catch of the day seabass to my husband's steak that he cut with a butter knife. Fantastic experience!!!

Cara A.

Yelp
Wonderful place for dinner or simple appetizer. The staff is warm and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Charles G.

Yelp
Ok this is is Italy. True True they don't speak very good English but your in Italy get over it. The menu is in English and that all that matters. Sea food is so fresh the pasta is made right on site. Truly a great place to go. BTW the portions are big enough for 2 so be hungry or you will be taking a lot home.

Polina R.

Yelp
We did like the place, the service and the food. Enjoyed our brunch there. The view is amazing. Calming place. Pasta with ink was delicious.

Taylor T.

Yelp
Good food, good wine and good view. The service is excellent. The squid ink pasta that we ordered is very tasty. What a way to finish your day at the beautiful Burano Island. Highly recommended!

Cale B.

Yelp
Food is a little bland but the service and atmosphere was great. The spaghetti sauce is black from the squid ink, which we hadn't seen before. Dip the cookies in the red wine for dessert!

Nicholas W.

Yelp
An exceptional restaurant with great atmosphere, exceptionally professional and courteous staff, and exquisite cuisine. Perhaps our best meal in Italy.

Tony D.

Yelp
Went there today, has a great location and superior waiters. They are very professional and accommodating . The only reason why I gave them 3 stars otherwise it would have just two. The food is why you go to any restaurant and the food here is way over cooked and extremely salty. Their chef needs to taste his food first and foremost and if he does the prices they charge for his work are extremely out of scale. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place did not sit well with me.

Carrie V.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch today based on the reviews and the fact that the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on Mondays. The atmosphere was quaint indoors where we sat. Outdoors was full u less you had a reservation but that was fine. The service was very good, which makes this review a 3 star instead of a 2. The spaghetti with clams was so salty we couldn't really eat it and we like flavor but it was overwhelmingly salty. The chef needs to taste his food. No one asked us how our food was? Hmmmm, don't want to know? The bream fish was very small, over cooked, served whole with lots of bones. It was also 3 euro more than the price on the printed menu. The wine was nice and the service good, but ultimately you come for the food and it was way below average.

Yelp
One of the managers at one glass factory in Murano suggested we take the trip to Burano for lunch. Glad we followed his advice and went to Riva Rosa. Great food and service from start to finish...

Sherwin C.

Yelp
This restaurant is a must go when visiting Murano. We came here for lunch by a friend's recommendations and had spaghetti (seppie) and risotto and they were delicious. The place does offer any house wine though if you are looking for one of these.

Keith K.

Yelp
Great restaurant. It's located right at the entrance to "downtown" Burano, so at first I was skeptical that it was a tourist trap. After eating there, I can say quite the contrary. The quality of the food matches the price. Wait staff is friendly, and speak English well.

T B.

Yelp
Wow, our meal here was outstanding and definitely our best in "Venice". On a very foggy day, we made it to Burano by lunch time after visiting Murano, and we were starving. As we were entering the town we found this little gem of a restaurant right by the canal with a great view of all the colorful boats and buildings. When you enter the restaurant it looks fancy and expensive... and it is. Our server spoke english and they had english menus as well. We had two glasses of the house white wine each and decided to order the seafood risotto which they prepare for a minimum of two people. It was fantastic! Not too soupy and not too undercooked, which are my two main peeves with risotto. The seafood flavor was definitely there and there was a fair amount of fish and seafood. We also ordered some type of apple crisp dessert on top of a chocolate graham cookie and that was soooo good that we ordered a second one. Loved, loved, loved this restaurant!

Norman W.

Yelp
Needing a bite to eat after wandering around the quaint island of Burano, we came across this wonderful restaurant. Delicious, mouthwatering gnocchi, with just enough crab meat to give it that WOW factor. Great service, friendly staff and reasonably priced taking into account the quality of the food.

Victoria S.

Yelp
I'm from Napa so maybe I'm spoiled however, while the location and staff were nice the food was ok. If you enjoy paying 6 euro for a cup of tea and 19 euro for a plate of tomatoes and mozzarella then this is the place for you. The food was very expensive and nothing to write home about. There are probably better restaurants on the island, I would keep walking unless you don't mind paying high prices for so-so food oh and a cover charge of 3.5 euro per person for nothing, no music or water or for any apparent reason except that you are a tourist and you must pay for the privelage of sitting at their table.

David C.

Yelp
my girlfriend wanted to try this place out due to the ratings. We were seated outside which had a pretty cool view. the main dish we ordered was alright however the cod fish for starters was very blend..

Lisa S.

Yelp
Charming restaurant with a view of a canal and those adorably painted houses that Burano is known for. Good food (the fritti de calamari was excellent), wine, service. A delightful spot to stop and have lunch.
