Not great service, it was mediocre. Food was served in small plates, I ordered the roasted lamb with potatoes. The lamb pieces were small and mostly fatty. See photos for reference. Also, they served wine in a water glass? I’ve eaten more food and better priced food at a hole in wall restaurant the other night. Don’t come here if you’re on a budget, eat all the bread they bring out because they charge you without asking if you want the bread.

How I adore Rome! and the restaurant NiNo has always been the personification of delight. Always smiling staff, ready at any moment to fulfill any wish of the client. Alas... not today. Maybe tired or something, but not the same service, at all. Although the food is delicious! I highly recommend I forgot to say, 15 years ago:))) here were the most delicious profiteroles in all of Italy, now it's not the same

Rome’s Best in Class: NiNo's represents Tuscan traditions naturalised in Rome: the Tuscan specialties (steak, salted cod) blended typical Roman cuisine: artichokes, suckling lamb, fresh catch of the day, homemade pastas and great Chianti Classico -AND always my favorite dessert, cantucci’s dipped in sweet wine. Highly recommend this gem! Bit more fancy in terms of white tablecloth, quality service but absolutely worth the money here. Every single dish we had was great - artichoke, vegetable soup, ossobucco and zucchini flowers and tiramisu were fantastic. Duck ragu pasta I expected a bit more meaty with sauce but was more drier pasta with minced meat. Even the bread basket with the olive oil and house red was spectacular. At first when we got here around 8pm, it was hard to get service as they were super busy. However once things eased up, servers were so friendly and joked along with us, even gave us free biscuits and chocolate, gave me a serving spoon with my tiramisu as a joke, and gave us a "zero zero calorie" drink 😂. Would highly recommend!

Authentic Roman - Florentine cuisine. Lovely staff and atmosphere. You will only find high quality food made with exceptional ingredients. This place is old with more than 90 years of authenticity. The grilled lamb “Abbacchio” was outstanding. Milk fed baby lamb from Rome than never tasted the grass cooked to perfection with salt. Only! Discover their menu and enjoy. Rome has many good restaurants, I never go to the same restaurant twice in a single trip. But this time was an exception.

Nino is a special experience of a clasic Rome restaurant with tradition. We served sea bream and steak and the taste was amazing!

Nino is a must go to when you are in Rome. Delicious food and friendly service from a team that has been doing this for ages!! It is Italian food to perfection.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing and frustrating on every level. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was unpleasant—cold, unwelcoming, and lacking any charm you'd expect in Rome. The waitstaff barely paid attention to us, making it clear they'd rather we just leave as quickly as possible. They were uninterested in explaining the menu or recommending anything, which made us feel like an inconvenience. As for the food, it was a real letdown. We ordered several dishes, and aside from the seabream, which was decent, every other course was terrible. Bland flavors, poor presentation, and completely uninspired. For the high prices they charge, we expected far better quality. Compared to other fantastic meals we’ve had in Rome, this place simply doesn’t measure up. Overall, it’s overpriced and the atmosphere is awful.
