The department t store staff was very rude and judgmental about your look. So as I understand I need to wear all over brands so they’ll smile at least. Very disappointing. The rooftop host is a terrible and unfriendly . You can find better places to shop or drink coffee .

Sale time in Italy, found some nice quality olive wood spoons to give as gifts on sale for 5€, score! Home goods on 4th floor is tiny, we needed a duvet cover but they don’t sell, it is more of a gift section, even sold champagne! The sales are well marked throughout the store, higher end items so if a throw costs 600€ and is 30% off, well…

Rinascente is a designer store, that sells fashion, accessories and shoes and wine, All the designer labels you can think of - with curated ranges. They also have restaurants normally located on the top floor- in Florence the view is beautiful - food is reasonably priced considering you are paying for the view. I opted for a Chicken Caesar Salad €14 which was plentiful - service was very good, and the servers speak English. Freshly squeezed Orange juice was a bit pricey €7 but this is Florence, and juice is expensive everywhere. So if you’re in the area had a shopping trip and want somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle of tourists - definitely worth checking out! If you time it right you might even hear the beautiful sounds of the church bells from the cathedral. Tables are available to book in advance, there is the standard cover charge and a 10% service charge - for sitting on the terrace - but you have to appreciate the staff have to run around a bit to provide fast service - so it’s not really a big deal. American Express is also accepted.

Yesterday I went to buy sun glasses, the employees are very rude, arrogant and impatient, she threw the sunglasses that opened to test at me and I can't believe there is no monitoring of the employees' behavior. I feel sorry for the person responsible for this, who has no oversight over this issue despite people always pointing this out in the comments. I had a glass of wine, a beer and a board of ham and cheese. The place is OK. I just can’t believe they charge you the silverware, really? A service fee, okay I get it, but the silverware… Miserable. The view is nice, prices are high and they try to push you out as soon as you finish your drink.

I go to this store quite often because it is close to where I live. Various floors and lots of variety to choose from. I always wait for the sale season because it is quite expensive to buy at full price. I have purchased essence for the house, clothes, backpacks, sneakers perfumes and sunglasses and no regrets! Well organized and friendly staff
