Great experience! Got a flight of sours and a growler. Sours were vinegar-based sours. Got a growler of the Holiday Bubbles which I highly recommend if you want a winter beer loaded with spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Venue is massive and they are clearly proud of their heritage here. Stuff for varying age levels to enjoy during the day. They did have a vending machine style pizza thing, and I got a pretzel to nibble with my flight. Other than that I didn't see any food. Hopefully they entertain street-style fish and chips in the future as their sours would be absolutely stellar with this dish.

We visited October 2024. This place was huge. Great beer, fun atmosphere with games: bags and ping pong. Lots of seating. Soft pretzels and a pizza maker that makes pizzas without a human! Huge TV in the center and other TVs throughout. There was a wedding reception on the second floor. Very awesome roof top bar, fully stocked with lots of seating and heaters. Gorgeous view of Cincinnati! Free off street parking lot. This place is a MUST do when in Cincinnati.

What a fun place!! The building is goregous!! The energy is fabulous. The football game was on, a groupd was celebrating a 70th birthday, and several were playing bags....just a fun, lively place! We enjoyed a pour of Holiday Bubbles and a Shuffle. We started sitting at a table near the merchandise area, but moved to the rooftop...what.a.view! Do yourself a "flavor" and stop in! Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time! Explore everything!

One of the bigger microbreweries I have been to for sure. If you have an aversion to stairs there is an elevator, I found it too late. I was most impressed with the color coded beer list. Huge space to hang and drink some quality beers. Games to play and TV's to watch. They had a cool rooftop hangout also.

Love, love, love the tart cherry Bubbles! Both bartenders were friendly and very helpful with choices! The rooftop is an awesome place to gather with friends! They have bean bags (corn hole) on the main floor. I will be back!

This place is fabulous. We got there at noon when it opened on a Saturday and went straight to the rooftop for fabulous beer and view! Then we went to the middle level where there were even more beer selection and games to play. While overlooking the brewing facility, Mike who helped build and maintain the facility offered us a behind the scene tour that was phenomenal! Then Mike shared a post-tour beer with us sharing more of the brewery 11-yr history. Highly recommend this place.

Must visit brewery in Cincinnati. We were going to stop by for a beer, but we enjoyed it so much we split another one. Happy hour deal was a nice bonus! It’s a huge space so there are lots of options on where you want to hang out to enjoy your beer. We were happy to hang out by the TVs and catch the Olympics while we were there.

The beer is very much a crowd pleaser. Not super creative but very well executed. The true strength is the great service, location, and the amazing taproom.

When we said we were going to be in Cincinatti everyone was saying we had to check out Rhinegeist. We have had some of their beers before but it wasn't necessarily at the top of our list. First the parking. There is a small lot across the street which was completely full. There also was no handicap parking available.We circled trying to find street parking without much luck. The one lot was pretty expensive, especially just to have a beer. We finally did find a lot a few blocks away. We managed but it was tricky in my wheelchair with sidewalks in pretty sad shape. Once we got inside and took the elevator up you come into the main taproom. It is huge with seating areas at both ends and a wide open space in the center with cornhole. The bar is all the way at the opposite end. There were kids running around and it was quite loud so we found an unoccupied corner to sit. They have a decent taplist, nothing crazy. I selected a barrel aged stout they had on. The beer was just ok. There was nothing wrong with it but it also didn't stand out amongst some of the great beers we were having on our trip. Overall I'm glad we checked it out but I doubt returning will be a priority. I would definitely recommend going on a weeknight when it hopefully wouldn't be as crazy.

I had Rhinegeist circled as a place to visit in Cincy for weeks before our trip. (I drove 10 hours to visit the city and truly enjoyed it except for this place) I wanted to see the architecture of the building, try out their beers and enjoy a Saturday evening. The guy at the door told us we could not enter at 7:55PM because in five minutes my son (under 21) would not be allowed in. Gave no reason. We walked over a mile to make Rhinegeist a part of our trip to Cincinnati, but couldn't even walk through the building. Rhinegeist really pissed me off. I've been to breweries all over the country and I've seen dogs, people with infants, families, grieving families after a funeral etc etc at all hours of the day. I wasn't even allowed to talk to anyone about it. I tried to explain how far we just walked and was shooed away by the door man. Their website clearly states - Kids are more than welcome to visit the brewery! All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We were greeted at Northern Row down the street with open arms AND STAYED AS LONG AS WE WANTED TO!!!! I'll never drink another Rhinegeist Beer again for how they treated me. Especially in front of my son. You made my kid feel like he was a boat anchor. He was apologizing to me. Nothing to apologize for, just piss poor management. SHAME ON YOU RHINEGEIST

We passed this brewery on a hidden brewery caverns tour and our tour guide said we should stop by so we did after the tour. So many fun things to look at from the time you walk in the door, all the way up the stairs until you get to the big open area bar up top. Lots to do up there. Cornhole and other things and then the bar had lots of options. We learned about a special brew on our tour made from over 100 year old yeast called the missing lynq which my husband tried. I'm not a beer drinker so I asked for some recommendations and did a flight with four different brews. We all laughed bc the one beer on my flight that smelled the absolute best was amazingly sour. I was able to drink it though. Very different. The other three were fruity and almost had a wine cooler like taste which worked for me. My husband liked the missing lynq he tried.

This place was recommended from our airbnb host! We spent my boyfriend's birthday night here and had such a great time! We didn't have high hopes because we didn't look too much into this place before going, but we're so surprised how much fun we had! Upon arrival, you climb up 3 flights of stairs and once you get to the top, it gives an old warehouse vibe. It's a huge space! There's cornhole, pingpong, and lots of tvs! When we went, it was march madness so lots of people watching. The bar has tons of options and a very clear menu! We got flights and were surprised when they were only about $10 each! And you get 4 drinks (about 3oz each) so you can try whatever you want. We did 2 flights each totaling around $42 which we thought was a great price! Def recommend if in the area or bar hopping. Everyone was super friendly too!

Cool place to hang out with friends as. It's a good place to have any team outings for cooperate. They have an amazing collection of beers.

I talked to a coworker about going to a trivia night here. I happened to spot her and invited her to join my friend group at a larger table. She mentioned her other friend would be joining us with some cocktails. A few minutes later my high school friend appeared with those cocktails. I had no idea they knew each other! We chatted for hours and had a great time playing trivia. Anyways, hope you liked the story. I love this place

We did the tour and I'm thoroughly surprised more people don't! The tour was $10/pp but came with a chip for a free drink (a $6 value). So if you girl math it up that means that I got the tour for only $4 because I planned on buying a drink anyways! The tour guide was super casual since we had a small group of about 6, he had great insight on the processes and kept us entertained with facts about the beer but also the building and its history! You also get to see a lot of areas that are off limits or cant be seen from the main area. The tour isn't super long, I think we spent 30 minutes together total, but it was the perfect amount of time to explore the production side before returning to the guest facing side. And again, only $10!!

Most amazing venue. Megan and Cass were wonderful to work with. Very responsive and helpful. The venue was perfect for the party. The bar tenders were excellent. I highly recommend the lounge room for an event. The food by Gomez was also very good. I recommend them as well. Thank you for making the party a success!

The picnic tables make it the perfect place to gather with friends and even have a friendly (but competitive) cornhole tournament. Upstairs is a rooftop bar that overlooks Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood that is always fun for a date night. In addition to their stellar beer offerings, Rhinegeist also plays host to a variety of events and activities, from live music performances to yoga classes and everything in between. It's a hub of community, where everyone can come together to celebrate good beer and good company.

We are always on the lookout for a new brewery especially when we go out of town. Hubby found Rhinegeist while in Cincinnati for a wedding last weekend so we decided to check it out. First impression, this place was huge! Large indoor taproom, awesome rooftop area and private event spaces. They really have it all! Now for their beers aka the best part! We tried quite a few of them. Cheetah, Antelope, Uncle, Franz, Cincy Light - all very good! I liked their selection of beer styles, something for everyone! While they had a nice variety of beer to choose from, they also are big on ciders. The bartenders were all pleasant and helpful. My favorite area was the rooftop. We even got to enjoy a sunset during our evening visit. Overall, awesome atmosphere and delicious beer!

This taproom is so fun! We visited here once before and took a tour, which we recommend, but this time we just stopped by for a drink. They have so many options to choose from, some sold in stores and others only available there. There are plenty of seats and cornhole to play as well. A fun atmosphere which we are excited to visit again and finally check out the rooftop.

Rhinegeist Brewery is sweet. The inside is massive, and they have games sprawled throughout (cornhole, connect four). There are lots of TV's and tons of large picnic tables. Not to mention the beer is great. If you're in the Cincy area, visiting Rhinegeist should be a must!

One of our favorite spots in Cincinnati was Rheingeist brewery where we were able to walk up to the rooftop and enjoy beautiful views with high quality beer The main floor had awesome fall themed aesthetics (I was able to harass someone to take of me and my friend) and tons of space. I was particularly fascinated by the hills in Cincinnati and the Rhinegeist rooftop was the best place to take it all in! 10/10 recommend and I knooooowww we will be back!

Rhinegeist brewery has a great atmosphere. They also host events throughout the year at their brewery. We attended their Art on Vine event where local crafters are located in the brewery. It is a nice atmosphere to enjoy a craft beer and look at local artwork and locally made food. It was busy but nonetheless very enjoyable - especially on a cold day! Oh, forgot to mention that their beer selection is large and varied and each brew we tried was tasty.

I've been wanting to check this place out for years! Huge indoor space with plenty of tables and TVs. Head up the stairs to check out the roof top views on all sides. The Local Cantina has great, quick food options if you stop in and need a snack with your drink! *they do summer brunch on select Sundays that includes a variety of alcohols and food is provided

Fantastic brewery! Been drinking Truth for years in Cleveland and finally visited here this past weekend. This place is HUGE. You can probably fit an entire village in here. The beer is tops, of course. Plenty of space to play games, watch games on the TV, or play corn hole! A must see if you are in the Nati!

I'm from out of town, and I have never been to a brewery this large! I was worried there wouldn't be many options for beer dislikers like me but they had multiple options. I loved the atmosphere here! They had tons of TVs, plenty of long tables and high tops, and bags. Although it was busy, there is so much space to hang out. Next time I'd love to check out the rooftop which I heard is nice as well!

Heard that this is a very well known brewery and I know why! The space is huge, multiple levels and even a rooftop with great views of the city. The drinks are reasonably priced and there are lot sod beers to choose from including various lagers, IPAs, sours, and others. The staff was nice and told us "we just want people to have a good time."

Had a really great afternoon visit at Rhinegeist brewery and the weather made it all the much better! You definitely need to make sure you check out the rooftop (which I wasn't even prepared for but was an added cherry on top of this already awesome visit that included beer, flights and game area and lots of stairs). you can also get buckets of lager if that's what you're into but for somebody who is into tasting lots of different awesome beers I would highly recommend.

Living four hours away I've enjoyed sampling on a Rhinegeist beer here and there. I've especially enjoyed their IPAs. During my recent visit I had the HOP Pantry and my wife had a less hoppy option. Both beers were fantastic. I've had Truth and Dad prior to my visit. Venue itself is great. We were here at 12:15 PM on NYE. Easy free parking, pleasant staff and family friendly. If you are in Cincinnati, especially the Over the Rhine area you definitely want to stop. Great vibe , I'd go back in a second, especially later in the day.

Rhinegeist Brewery converted an old bottling building into a great venue for the Cincy community! They have a great selection of beer, ample amount of seating, and a great atmosphere for family and friends. The staff is great, as they helped me choose my flight of beer, and my favorite was Franz, their Oktoberfest. Rhinegeist has a rooftop seating area, so I can see the rooftop being a great place to hang out on a nice warm day. Also, they use their venue for wedding receptions, as I saw a bride and groom taking photos. Will be back again whenever I'm in Cincy!

I'm picky with breweries and this is it! When I say "I want to go to a brewery", this is exactly the vibe I'm talking about. Games, good beer. Will definitely come back when I'm in town.

We enjoyed the candlelight string quartet show held in the upper room. The price was reasonable, especially for such a well done performance by String Source. Plenty of space to walk around but not a ghost town for a Wednesday night. The hard cider was delicious and they served drinks in the candlelight room which was convenient. Plenty of friendly and helpful staff. Will come back for another candlelight show!

Rhinegeist never disappoints! Every time I come down to Findlay market we always make a stop for an afternoon beer. It's always welcoming and we love to roof top. Service is wonderful and never really bothers you either which is nice when you just want to hang out. It's a favorite.

Rhinegeist will always hold a special place in my heart, they were one of my first ever beers and I fell in love with them quickly. The taproom is huge and beautiful, it's such a great environment to be in, I just wish there was more seating during the weekends. I have the pleasure of saying I was able to work with their wedding team and absolutely loved working with them. They are all kind, accommodating, and insightful, they helped us have a great wedding and also got us custom glasses for bride and groom. Beer is great as well, I do desperately wish they'd experiment more with sours as glow is pretty forgettable. Their community outreach is top notch as well, Rhinegeist truly has pride for Cincinnati and OTR. If you're ever in the area, it's worth stopping by.

This place has been on my radar for years, and yesterday I finally got to it. Amazing beers in a cool, industrial atmosphere. They have cornhole and board games, that you can play. Very friendly service, and they had cool merchandise items to browse and buy. One place they could improve would be with food/snacks: they had a very dry pretzel with no dipping sauce options (no mustard, beer cheese, etc). They allowed outside food, but I would've stayed and spent longer if they had their own beyond some small offerings like bagged chips.

This place is dope. The brewery is huge and awesome. Went there with a bunch of family and friends for UC parents weekend and there was plenty of seating, plenty of drinks, and plenty of games. There was even a rooftop bar. You go up to a counter and order and they were all very nice. Yummy food too.

This is an absolutely incredible space. Top 5 brewery tap room I have ever been to, and I am a pretty major craft beer fan that's been to 100+ breweries. The space is HUGE with a ton of games an activities, tvs, etc. There's also a large rooftop patio with tons of seating options and space heaters. We intended to come for one and ended up staying for a few hours as the soccer game was on and then we enjoyed the patio for a bit as well. An absolute must in Cincy.

Rhinegeist is a Cincy classic for a reason. My fiancé likes IPAs, while I'm more of sour fan, and we love coming here because we're both always able to find something we like. We stopped by for a quick brew or two on a chilly Saturday afternoon, and were pleasantly surprised to find so many people inside! While the rooftop was closed, they did have several cornhole stations set up inside, which is such a fun use of their warehouse space. The employees working at the bar are always friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the beers they're recommending. You also can't beat the prices ... $6 for a perfectly cold beer on draft. I usually like to try something new when I'm here, since there are some brews you can find in the taproom that you can't get in a store. This time, my favorites were the "Wowie," a fruity ale that tastes like a Pina Colada in beer form, and the "Press Tart," which was a fun, pink-ish color that was deliciously sweet and sour. We also love OTR Chili ... it's like a slightly elevated version of Skyline. The chili fries are a must if you're planning on having more than a quick drink. We can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can once again frequent their fantastic rooftop!

Definitely a fan of all Ohio craft beers, so this one had been on my list for awhile. I was down in the OTR area and made it a plan to stop by and get some work done on a Friday afternoon while testing out a Rhinegeist flight! Massive options of beers (almost overwhelming) along friendly and patient bartenders who helped me figure out what I wanted. I opted for the Bubbles, Glow, Zuki Punch and Infrared Eclipse. The Zuki Punch was my fave. The Infrared was not good at all. I am kind of bummed though because their website has so many awesome flavors (as I write this a month later). Lots more I would have wanted to try but didn't see as options when I was there. The upstairs is for sure a vibe. Big, open space with corn hole, games and tons of picnic table seating. Also a small area that sells merchandise. I was surprised that for a Friday afternoon in April (between 4p-5p) I was one of only a handful of patrons in this massive upstairs venue. I would have thought it would have been packed with people. Maybe because the temperature was in the mid 80's, others opted for a true patio style vibe. All told, I do enjoy Rhinegeist and would go back. I think they need to open up quite a few more taprooms in the Cincy area. I think they'd do really well. Wish they sold their beers (or shipped them) out in Arizona. So many options I'd love to try!

Great brewery with an awesome space to hang with a large or small group. I got an IPA and it was quite tasty. They have a rooftop that is worth checking out. Multiple levels with enough space to setup multiple lanes of corn hole. Got a nicely designed souvenir t-shirt. They had lots of options for any gifts. I'm not sure if they serve food though as it sounds like they have space for a kitchen but no one was currently operating it.

I have been a long time time fan of their beer, so when I was in Cincinnati I usually go with the flow of what my family has planned, this was the one location that I requested to go. It's awesome! I love the location, it's so massive! There is so much going on. Yard games happening in the middle, as well as the "brewery inter workings" They also have games going on some different TVs. I had to get a flight to work my way through some different beers that they offer, and everything was delicious and flavorful! We also got a tasty pretzel with some dipping cheese, I also had a great classic burger that hit the spot and was needed after a long day of family time adventures (drinking tour of the city) My cousins also popped over to pick up some pizza that was also very tasty. I had a great time and can't wait to get back

Great beer, great selection! The rooftop deck is one of the best spots in downtown/OTR.

Holy massive brewery Batman. This place was one of the biggest breweries I've been to (and I've been to a lot). Over 50 taps between two bars and that's not counting the rooftop bar which wasn't open while we visited. The place was packed but we had no problem finding places to sit or stand and enjoy beers. Next time we come we will plan a time they have the rooftop open and maybe a behind the scenes tour.

My son loves a good beer. He even tracks every beer he tries on the internet. So on a recent trip to town I brought him here. Totally missed there was an elevator, so trudged up the stairs and counted it as cardio. We had several beer flights, taking them up another floor to a rooftop where we discovered we could have bought them there! Oh well... Loved the view and the beer. A good time was had by all.

Rhinegeist is a true staple within the Findlay Market area. What would we ever do without them?! :) I've been to this beer oasis more times than I can count. For Movie Nights, Drag Shows, Bike Conventions, etc. I especially love the Candlelight Series where they bring in a string band to do killer musical covers!! I attended the Queen tribute and it was spectacular. The ambiance upstairs was so sleek and intimate - well worth the money for that experience. And have you seen their Rooftop during warmer months?? Awesome view and outdoor bar! One of my favorites in the city. I've had lovely dates and wonderful gatherings with friends up there. Rhinegeist is also great for wedding receptions and watching sports. With a wide variety of rotating drink options, you'll always have a reason to revisit.

This place is great! Was visiting Cincinnati over Christmas and came here on Christmas Eve. My first thought when we got there was this place is massive. It is in an old warehouse building I'm guessing and it is just all open. They had cornhole for people to play and a projector with Christmas movies. It had a bunch of big picnic tables for people to sit at near the cornhole and a handful of bar top tables by the bar. At first I ordered a flight of beer to sample what they have. I got four beers and the bartender was very helpful in suggesting some beers to try. The way they have their menu behind the bar I really liked. Each beer is on a poster with some information about what kind it is and what flavors it has so I really enjoyed that. We even got some beer to go. They have a limited food menu that is mostly chili. My boyfriend and I got the 5-way for the chili and it was pretty good. You can order food at the bar then you'll get a text when it's time to go grab your food from the window. Overall this was a cool chill brewery and I'm happy we went.

My favorite brewery in Cincinnati. Scratch that, my favorite brewery ever! The service is amazing and the ambiance of the brewery really embraces the heart of OTR. I've hosted many events here, it's my first go to spot for out of town guests, and it never disappoints!

Rhinegeist brews are pretty popular in Pittsburgh and I love the bubbles, so when I was in Cincy I knew I wanted to make a stop here. I came on a Friday afternoon and there were only two other patrons in the skylight room. The "host" working at the entrance of that room at the top of the stairs totally ignored me and was on his phone. I stood at the stand for a minute and then asked him if I could sit down or see a menu or talk to someone? Like hello, how unprofessional! I was immediately turned off. He gave me a menu, but I ended up walking over to the other side of the skylight room where you can buy beers and merch. The girl working over there was much more helpful and professional. I was hoping to grab a pack of the bubbles but they were out of 6 packs to go. I got a 6 pack of the zango crush, which I ended up liking. It's a cool atmosphere, industrial-modern space. I would come back and sit at the rooftop bar or something and hope there's a better host.

Bad service. One of the bartenders was really rude and pushy to order when nobody was behind us in line. Upstairs/outside bar was fine but overall wouldn't go back. Also reeked of yeast, made us nauseous.

What an amazing brewery in the Nati, they were a little behind some of the other breweries in the Nati start up. But they are second to none with the location, with the amazing building the merchandise and the roof top.. oh yeah they also make a great beer with many to chose from.

Super cool spot with plenty of room to spread out and different sizes of seating options. The drinks are all really great (a variety offered for different peoples preferences) and the bartenders are friendly and cheerful. Bathrooms are clean and it's a good photo spot too. Cornhole inside!

Having had many great Rhinegeist beers, I wanted to check out the brewery. As we walked down the street we missed the unassuming entrance. We ascended the stairs and the doorway opened to a large beer hall with many picnic tables, corn hole, ping pong, shuffle board etc. We hit the bar for some beers. They had plenty to choose from. We also ordered a pretzel. I appreciated that I could order everything at one counter and did not need to walk over to OTR chili to place the food order. We then ventured up to the rooftop patio. This patio was great! Great views, another bar, and plenty of seating. The beers were delicious, you are sure to find something you like. Would definitely go back!
