Restaurante Albacara is a delightful find, especially if you're looking for a great dining experience with stunning views. Located conveniently down the street from a previously disappointing restaurant, Albacara offered us a warm welcome and a memorable evening. The highlight was the fantastic view of the bridge, which added a beautiful backdrop to our meal. The service was not only attentive but also amazingly dedicated, enhancing the overall experience. The menu featured a variety of well-prepared dishes, and they also offer a special vegetarian menu, making it a great option for those with dietary preferences. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, perfect for special occasions or a refined dining experience. Highly recommend reserving in advance to secure the best seats with the most impressive views. Overall, Restaurante Albacara exceeded our expectations and turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a truly enjoyable one. It’s definitely worth a visit for both its food and breathtaking vistas.

The views are incredible! Though it seems kind of silly that they open at 7pm, as it is already getting dark. Once the views are gone, there's not a lot of positives about this restaurant. The food is very basic and the service is pretty bad (no one is rude, nothing like that). Main course was watery, dessert was far too sweet. It would be fine if the prices weren't those of a fine dining restaurant

Highly suggest this dining experience - reserve day before. There was a small miscommunication about our reservation but the staff quickly and graciously sorted it out. Very impressive service, all food was excellent ( recommended local wine, croquettes, grilled squid, bacalao/cod and chocolate truffle) and the view was mesmerizing as we watched the sunset and the cliff birds.

Wonderful small restaurant inside the beautiful old hotel. Stunning views from the balcony tables over the hills. Local dishes have fresh ingredients and executed very well in classic style. Recommend the local wines, too. Overall very good value.

This was going to be a 4, maybe 5 star review but that fell apart when the bill came. There was a €5.80 item that I didn't know what it was, so I asked - bread and olives. We were served (not requested, or asked if we wanted it) a small dish of olives, maybe 10 or 12 and half a piece of bread each. I'm pretty sure that's not legal, and it certainly ruined an otherwise lovely dinner. I just don't like being taken advantage of, especially, for a €100+ dinner for two. The burrata salad and beef carpaccio starters were both excellent. I had the lamb, as recommended by the waiter and my wife had the cod. Both very good, although I found the lamb a bit dried out - still very good, but not excellent. A local wine recommended by the waiter was also excellent. Rather than argue about the bread, I did not tip, which bothers me as I'm sure it hurts the staff more than whoever sets the policy to force €5.80 out of each couple (maybe only the tourists?). As many others have stated, a seat by the railing on a nice evening provides an amazing view. I hope management reads some of the recent reviews and addresses some of the issues.

We had a very good experience for dinner at Albacara. The service was excellent, from the moment we made reservations, and throughout our dinner experience. The restaurant is in a great location! The atmosphere and decor was very nice. As for the food, I would give it 4.5 stars. In terms of taste, everything was spot on. We ordered the croquetas for appetizer, and it was a solid, sizable dish. Very tasty, seasoned croquetas with a couple of different sauces on the side (not all places serve them with this). The tomato sauce was a bit sweet, but the spices with it kept me coming back for more. The aioli paired perfectly with the combination. For main dishes we had the corvina, and the cow steak. Both were very tasty. The corvina was perfectly cooked. The steak was very slightly overdone (hence not a perfect score) but the taste was so good I was able to overlook this and finish the plate. For dessert we had the soufflé, and it was excellent. I highly recommend it. Overall, I recommend Albacara. Good food, and great service.

Wonderful experience! My parents had been twice before, and took me and my husband when we arrived in town. The owner himself was incredibly engaged, and brought out multiple tastings of sherry and various appetizers for us, while telling us the history of the foods/drinks and the region. Then, as if that weren’t enough, he came out with a small cart, bowl, and a half dozen ingredients and made a brand new sauce for the tuna tartar we ordered as one of our main courses. He elevated the dish to new and delicious heights, all from a place of passion. It’s clear that he and the staff are very fond of the work they do and love being there! Not only that, but the view simply cannot be beat! We will absolutely be back!

One of the best restaurants we found in our travels through southern Spain. Excellent local wine, great service and food that was well prepared, presented and seasoned. Hard to find a fault in the experience and worthy of the five stars. Compliments to the chef and staff!
