Great fixed seafood meal. Get there early for the 7pm seating. Like 630. We got there at 645 and barely got a seat, thanks to two wonderful people from NZ who offered to share their table with us. That made for a great conversation and dining experience. The other benefit was we got two whole fish of different types where we were only 2, we would have gotten a single fish. The fresh juice was wonderful and a great experience!

The finest food we had in Tangier. Set menu for 250 dirhams per person with fresh seafood and fish. Simply delicious. Sure, we found very satisfying meals for much less but this is a treat worth having! The service was professional. We had shark, sea bass and sole. They served us a spicy paste, 3 different types of bread (you can ask them to heat the cold ones for you in the charcoal), delicious olives and toasted nuts. They provide a special juice they make with seasonal fruits that’s unique and very tasty. For dessert we had pomegranate with red fruits and honey, and ground nuts with honey. The queue is very long if you go past 1pm and you can only pay cash. They spoke several languages

Just go eat at this place. $25 for a five course meal is a steal. Don’t be stingy. Also the menu is very self explanatory. It’s all fish, fish soup, bread, nuts, fruits, etc. They won’t explain everything to you what’s in it like you’re at a fancy western restaurant where you pay $150 a person so if that’s what you need, stay away and good luck finding a place like that here. lol But seriously the food is amazing. Let them feed you and guide your experience. The fish is so fresh with so many flavors and with everything else, it’s a total sensory experience.

Amazing! You must go! They serve whatever fish they caught that day which means it’s soooo tender and fresh. It’s delicious! Set menu and it’s the same as it was when Bourdain ate there in 2013 which is not a bad thing. As many locals dining there as tourists. One thing I would suggest is not to fill up on bread, nuts or fig juice as so much food comes out and it’s the fish that’s the star. The herbs they cook it in with the perfect amount of salt over charcoal is the most amazing fish I have ever eaten! Seriously sensational.

A hidden gem. A no frills restaurant with beautiful fresh fish at a set price. We had fish soup fish tagine which was delicious and then baby shark skewers and St Pierre cooked to perfection on an open fire followed by pomegranate and raspberries and washed down with a mixed fruit drink. A great dining experience with friendly staff.

I loved everything about this experience. What’s unique is that you as a customer aren’t leading your meal, you are at the hands of the restaurant to serve you what they do best. And they do it incredibly well. Service was efficient, food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun and laid back. It’s 100% worth the line. Come with an open mind and roll with it!

Whenever we are travelling we have at least one ‘splurge’ type meal, in the case of tangier this was it the cost is still very very reasonable especially for the value and worth every penny. Traditional home cooked meal style Moroccan food each course was perfectly spread out served hot and fresh. Absolutely delicious, a must try at least once when visiting tangier. I have to add this is the best service we’ve received in Tangier, drinks were replenished regularly and without request. I have to mention the soup was especially delicious and the raspberries were the best I’ve ever had!

Many reviews have been written about this place and they are right about the food. There is no menu, you get what they are cooking that day. It is mostly fish. You start with a fish soup, then it is a fish tagine with spinach, followed by grilled while fish and fish skewers, and finally ending with dessert which is fresh fruit. Bread and two dipping sauces were served as accompaniments. We did not receive the flat bread because they ran out. You are also served some kind of a fruit juice, which was sweet to my liking but my friend loved it. The amount of food depends on how many people are at your table. For two people we got plenty of food. It is not the most romantic or "fancy" place, but the food is spectacular and you feel like eating in a family kitchen with a communal feeling. A bit pricey for a casual restaurant at 250 MAD, but the amount of food makes it worth it.
