"Another Delicious French Bistro sur le Plateau Les Héritiers is entirely devoted to food. Here the decor is stripped down to the bare essentials and the waiters are courteous and quite helpful. If all French bistros were like this, I would be poor, but very happy. Make sure to try the legendary pastis prawns or the grilled tuna—both quite delightful and surprisingly tasty for what is essentially licorice with fish. They also offer a tasting menu that includes a soup, an entrée, a main course, a trou Normand, a main dish, and, of course, dessert. For big appetites, this is a great idea!"

Les Héritiers turned out to be the perfect place for a big group dinner. A last minute choice but they were perfectly ready to take us all on (group of 50ish). We had the tasting menu, which came with a soup, an appetizer, main dish and dessert. The food was really good a tad salty at times but overall well balanced with salads to make up for it. Word of warning: the risotto is pretty heavy, be prepared for that or go for the duck! :) The staff was quick efficient and very patient with our group and I have to say I really loved that about them. If I’m ever in the mood for French cuisine I would love to come back. It’s also a bring your own wine place.

I've heard about les heritiers before but it was my first time trying it and it was pleasing. It was on a wednesday lunch and it was quite calm. Only us and another table, no crowd and no noise. Very pleasant to discuss. The meal started with a beet soup. Nothing special but can a beet soup be special? The entree was tempura shrimps which were crispy, well cooked with a very flavorsome sauce. I chose the pintade as main course. It was very copious. It was supposed to come with a coffee sauce but it didn't taste lile coffee at all. Still tasty of course, it wasn t really a problem. The banana ice cream was served with a pistachio crumble my favorite nut . Just a lovely BYOB

It's bring your own bottle. The duck and beef tartare was excellent. Everything else was a disappointment. I got the tasting menu, so it came with soup, your choice of appetizer, sorbet in vodka, main course and dessert. The portions are so tiny, for the price. Especially the beef tartare, I ate it in two bites. Maybe that's why they kept refilling our bread, so at least we'll be full from the bread. I expected better service, and there are no English menus.

Lunch dishes are ok but not great. A bit pricey for what you get.

Wonderful experience. The bavette was cooked perfectly and the peppercorn sauce complimented nicely. The salmon tartar was a refreshing blend. The risotto had an interesting twist. Service and ambience was sublime. But I went to go drop a big deuce and they only had one ply toilet paper. 4 stars.
