My wife and I were walking around Basel and came across the restaurant. The restaurant has a beautiful patio and great food. The restaurant specializes in veal. I recommend coming here for a Swiss cuisine.

We were there for brunch, and it was great. Just being able to stay in the beautiful room would be worth it, but the food was also great quality and the staff very kind.

Food, service and atmosphere are excellent. Unfortunately by moving my chair I felt chewing gum stuck under it. Such is just a no go and wonder about the cleanliness of the place…

A very nice terrace right next to the fountain, great for families with kids. Unfortunately that was the only pleasant thing about this place. The tables are set up in the best of European tradition, about 5 cm apart. And smoking (including cigars) is permitted everywhere… service is lacking, food is mediocre at best and the prices are ridiculous! A side salad for CHF10 consisted of 4 lettuce leaves and a half table spoon of shredded carrot. No dressing… the kids menu was not bad, but nothing from the main menu was worth the price.
