Reggae Goose

This is one of those small hole in the wall places that you probably tend to drive by because you have no idea how delicious it is!!! That was my mistake, and then by chance I walked here with my kids and order a jerk chicken! It was incredible! (The photo doesn’t do the flavor justice). The meat was so tender and flavorful, the rice was soft and flavorful and the veggies were a perfect pairing with this meal. The gentleman that served me (I think was the owner) was kind and knowledgeable about his food. The food was served fast and the prices are on point! I highly recommend you support this small business! I will definitely be a returning customer

I had the jerk chicken, and it was delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked and topped with flavorful jerk sauce. The oxtail sauce on the rice was a standout—so rich and savory. I can't wait to order that again! Highly recommend for flavorful food!

My husband and I was traveling for the holiday and our final stop was Connecticut we feel home sick so we decided to try and get some Jamaican food so we googled and located a restaurant called Reggae Goose, the place was small but the food was amazing the fried chicken was tasty to the bone and the beef patties oh was fresh out the oven which brings me back to my home land. If you are ever in the mood for some delicious Jamaican food check them out you won’t be disappointed. For awesome customer service, affordable prices and amazing food check out REGGAE GOOSE. Jerry is an awesome chef! The coffee is salmon is very tasty. And the jerk chicken is authentic. The rice and peas and mash potatoes are also delicious. He gave me a sample of the oxtail and I will go back next week for a plate! Nice size portions and great price. This is my new go to spot!

The food is very fulfilling! I'm not giving five stars only for that but because of how thoughtful they are. They care about their customers and will make sure you get the food you want no matter what. I don’t live close by but if I happen to be around again I will make sure to bring a good tip. ❤️ (the first review I left somewhere)

Amazing food! Amazing coffee lemonade!!! Great spot to check out. Got the oxtail with rice and peas, coffee salmon with macaroni pie and Rasta pasta, all outstanding.

Food unfortunately wasn’t good and I had such high hopes. Cabbage wasn’t cooked and was little a few shreds, curry shrunk had no flavor to it, the rice was the best on the plate and even the rice was a little bland. I’m not sure if I even want to give a 2nd try & I drive by this place everyday

One of the best food spots in Connecticut ..reminds me of Jamaica. The jerk chicken is tender and juicy and the customer service is impeccable .. …this is my new go to spot
