Red Lotus is an old favourite in the plaza filled with great restaurants. From the countless times we ordered take outs during the Pandemic, to late night cravings, this restaurant is a solid choice.
Sweet soy chicken is a favourite dish. The chicken pieces take some time to dissect with the bones included, along with chestnut pieces to round up the dish. Spicy fried chicken is also a great, solid Szechuan dish, if you can avoid the mala peppers. In the last trip we also tried the eggplant dish. It was so flavourful, great with steamed rice. The sliced pancake is also an amazing and unique alternative noodle dish if you're craving for that.
You order your food from your phone using QR code. Many servers do not speak English well. I had no issue having my water filled, but flagging for service might be difficult during busy times.

The fish with pickled vegetable stew 酸菜鱼 is delicious! The cold noodles were also amazing.

Enjoyed my visit here. While many of the dishes contain some spice, there are non-spicy options. Expect a hearty and heavy meal of dishes with rice. Good value for money.

You have to order on your phone, not great if you are dining with an elderly person. They don't have wonton soup, the reason why we came. Quite expensive. Came to $90 for a light lunch for 3 people.

The atmosphere here is really nice. They have a bubble tea shop connected to it incase you want to drink some milk tea as well. I think the food here tastes better than average— not the best. The quality is very nice. I also had once tried the bang bang Mian and it’s very good quality and HUGE portion✊✊! The customer service is just meh, not good but not bad. The flavour of the 牛肉大餅 is just soooo good it’s soft yet sweet, ugh the best. I’d come here again, the prices are also not bad.

Bad food! Little portion! It’s doesn’t worth the price and most importantly, taste bad. So I decide to eat essential ingredients and then move to the restaurant next-door and order something else. It ruin my dinner mood.

I was recommended by my friend so had a try today in this restaurant. It was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The service was sweet and good, and the food quality is high. Delicious Sichun cuisine made a happy day :) Some people may find the food a little salty - you can let the chef know in advance and they can adjust. Also the price is reasonable.

I want to say that the food is not fresh, highly priced, portion is small, no taste, very oily and handle to you burned dishes in case you order pan fried chive pancakes.
Honestly, the menu is heavily overpriced for everything in comparison to surrounding competitors that offer the same dishes.
The food portion is shrinking a lot, and food qualify is really bad. There is no consistency in taste and flavour, or I can responsibly say that there is literally no taste and no flavour at all for some dishes, it simply just tasted boiled in water and /or soaked in oil. For example: pan fried beef tender or salt and pepper shrimps.
The pan fried chives pancakes uses unfresh chives, the crust is always burned out, oily and loaded with dark burned crusts, sometimes they will give you old made ones.
Their bubble tea is disappointing, it is loaded with heavy non daily creamers, and sugar, there is no difference or no richness between drinks. There is no refreshing or chill feeling consuming it. I strongly recommend shuyi tealicious or Kung fu tea.
