Red Feather Inn

We stayed in "The Loft" at the Red Feathers Inn. The accommodation was beautiful with everything you would expect to find. It was spotlessly clean and decorated in the delightful French provincial style, warm and inviting. Breakfast was included with yoghurt, berries and toast. |We dined in the Red Feathers restaurant. The three course meal was exceptional. One of the best meals we have ever had anywhere. The chef served us. What a phenomenal experience at the red feather inn restaurant on a cold wintery night.||I had organised a surprise birthday dinner for my father and emailed ahead about some special preparations. The team at red feather inn exceeded all my expectations for the night. The setting was intimate and beautifully set up as if we were guests at a wedding. Everything was cooked to perfection and the table service was wonderful. Such a sweet, humble and kind team - A special mention to Han and the chef for our delicious three course experience, as well as Bella for personalising/organising a special candle celebration and table setting for my father. I would give 10 stars if I could and cannot wait to return. Thank you red feather inn for an experience we will never forget.

Lovely old buildings & beautiful gardens. The Manager, who was working in the restaurant, was absolutely delightful! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed in the Garden Suite which was tastefully decorated (apart from the old sofa bed / couch that we had to sit on which was extremely uncomfortable) and all the furnishings were lovely. On our third night, when the restaurant was closed, we couldn’t get any wi fi to work either upstairs or downstairs. It was as if we only got wi fi whilst the restaurants laptop was on. We had a delightful dinner in the restaurant but were a bit disappointed that there was only one red wine to select from and BYO was not allowed.

This inn is remarkably beautiful and excellent value. We stayed before and after the Bay of Fires walk, my friend and I had two separate rooms before, and one of the cottages after. The decor and ambience were quite literally the nicest I have seen in Australia, and I have stayed at some really good hotels. Every tiny detail had been thought through, and bathrooms were stunning, deep baths, hot showers, all very tasteful.|Free continental breakfasts were provided, which were ample and coffee pod machines or plungers in every room. |The onsite restaurant was nice too. |If you are planning to stay anywhere near Launceston, I would absolutely recommend here. It is gorgeous.

Cosy retreat, absolutely beautiful accommodation! Enjoyed quality time with friends by the warmth of the fire. Best continental breakfast.

Beautiful cottage style rooms. Lovely simple breakfast provided. So toasty - heating was great for winter. No fuss parking, easy drive out of Launceston about ten minutes from city center. Would easily stay again.

A delightful experience at The Red Feather! This was a charming bed and breakfast, with our room overlooking the lovely English garden. The staff were friendly, and their hospitality contributed to the overall delightful experience.

My partner & I stayed two nights in the Loft. From the second we arrived, the lovely host Lydia was welcoming and warm. The gardens and room looked picturesque of the French countryside and were stunning. The loft was cosy and warm, and I actually preferred staying 10mins drive out of Launceston rather than in the city centre. The drive into Launceston was easy and quiet and it was no trouble finding parks when in the city. Everything about our stay was lovely! Would 100% recommend and return.
