"Relaxation and Traditional Food at the Red Feather Inn After arriving at Launceston airport, pick up a rental car and head to Hadspen’s Red Feather Inn, a former carriage house where the rooms have fireplaces and soaking tubs. Book a candlelit dinner in the dining room or make your meal with the house chef by reserving a spot in one of the pickling or smoking classes in the cozy kitchen."

Lovely old buildings & beautiful gardens. The Manager, who was working in the restaurant, was absolutely delightful! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed in the Garden Suite which was tastefully decorated (apart from the old sofa bed / couch that we had to sit on which was extremely uncomfortable) and all the furnishings were lovely. On our third night, when the restaurant was closed, we couldn’t get any wi fi to work either upstairs or downstairs. It was as if we only got wi fi whilst the restaurants laptop was on. We had a delightful dinner in the restaurant but were a bit disappointed that there was only one red wine to select from and BYO was not allowed.

Beautiful cottage style rooms. Lovely simple breakfast provided. So toasty - heating was great for winter. No fuss parking, easy drive out of Launceston about ten minutes from city center. Would easily stay again.

The bed was two cheap single beds put together and the mattresses Velcroed together. Very bouncy needs that meant that when one person moved a muscle the other person got bounced and disturbed. Made for a poor sleep till we dismantled this set up The restaurant promised to be good but didn't deliver. Flavourless but attractive looking entrees and mains. Didn't bother with sweets

My partner & I stayed two nights in the Loft. From the second we arrived, the lovely host Lydia was welcoming and warm. The gardens and room looked picturesque of the French countryside and were stunning. The loft was cosy and warm, and I actually preferred staying 10mins drive out of Launceston rather than in the city centre. The drive into Launceston was easy and quiet and it was no trouble finding parks when in the city. Everything about our stay was lovely! Would 100% recommend and return.

I have always wanted to stay at this beautiful Inn. And it did not disappoint.|The beautiful heritage building was so beautiful. The rooms were so nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was devine. Breakfast was provided and was very good as well.

A delightful experience at The Red Feather! This was a charming bed and breakfast, with our room overlooking the lovely English garden. The staff were friendly, and their hospitality contributed to the overall delightful experience.

Just returned from a short break in Tassie, and had 2 nights at the Red Feathers. Lovely location in the beautiful village of Hadspen, with gorgeous gardens surrounding the place. We stayed in the attic room, which is pure luxury, very spacious, comfy bed and a fabulous bathroom. The staff here are fabulous, you feel like you've walked into a friends house, and the welcome is honest, warm and genuine. We had dinner in the little restaurant, which was a 2 or 3 course set menu, and prepared by a lovely lady, who spent time chatting with us. I thoroughly recommend, and also their sister property for a drink and a bite, the Clarendon Arms. Excellent!

My family of five has three teenage daughters and Pearce’s cottage was perfect. Three bedrooms, two lovely bathrooms, a great kitchen, lounge and dining areas. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and well maintained. A great washing machine and dryer were a bonus. It is 10 minutes drive to Launceston, but breakfast supplies, beautiful accommodation and very reasonable rates make it worth the drive.
