Ramona's

Alright... let's get real. The price point is a hard pill to swallow, but you'll have no time taking care of the delicious sandwiches from Ramona's. They delivered, at every stop!! The bread used is delightfully soft and crunchy in all the right ways. The meat is flavorful and high quality and the ingenious construction of the sandwiches are bar-none. It's a small shop, so plan on taking your sandwich to go and eat at a nice spot in the east end neighborhood.

The coolest spot. Portland OBVIOUSLY has amazing food on every corner but this is a spot that keeps me coming back for more. The sandwiches are big enough to split with a friend-you will not leave hungry. Super welcoming and friendly staff AND they have the cutest merch! Love you, Ramona’s! Everyone come eat here-Cheers!

Got a few sandwiches here for lunch. Pork broccoli chard was missing some sort of mustard and broccoli was bitter. Turkey caesar was very tasty though. I think prices are very high. Also staff were not friendly at all.

Not too bad, not much seating which is fine so plan ahead for a place to eat just in case. The cooking staff had strong mouths (bleep, beep 🙄😆). Lots of bread and not enough substance in the sub is my biggest complaint.

The classic Italian was so gd good. This came highly recommended from a friend so expectations were set high and it did not disappoint. The sharp provolone and olive spread complement each other so well and create a perfectly balanced sandwich. The sesame bread has a great crust and is soft so the roof of your mouth is safe. Probably a good thing I don’t live in Portland otherwise I would get this sandwich every day.

Ramona's is THE spot. Everything I have had has been delicious. The bread is incredible, especially when it's a little darker, the flavors really come out. The sesame seeds hit hard. The roast pork was, dare I say, better than the one I had at DiNic's in Philly. The Classic Italian reminds me of the sandwiches I grew up on from all the little Italian delis in Chicago, but better because the bread takes it to the next level. Don't sleep on the Turkey Caesar either. It might be my favorite. Add the giardiniera! The eggs on the breakfast sandwich are impossibly fluffy and moist. The sandwiches are pricey but they are a full meal and super high quality ingredients. The vibes are 💯. This is the spot.

A lil pricy but the quality is there. The seeded roll is immaculate. The shaved lettuce perfectly sliced. The sauce just right. The turkey fresh af. Good solid spot.

Finally ! A sandwich shop that has it all . Set in a cozy neighborhood with street parking , Ramona’s is exactly what I have been looking for in Portland . Cool and easy going vibe with really nice people working there . The hoagies are just wonderful . I was in heaven . Pork and broccoli rabe was divine . The Italian combo was perfect . You feel like you are sitting in Philly the whole time you are there. They have merch too! I will be back for breakfast soon . Don’t skip this place , it’s that good .
