1. The Coffee Shop--Pretty Sweet
I have had some experiences here. I've met nice people and people that were not so nice. Generally I have found the environment to be what you expect from a coffeehouse, inviting, chill, lots of seating, and vibes that are conducive to reading, hanging out, or just chilling. The wrinkle on this coffee shop is that it's also a beer place. I think they have pretty decent coffee and people drinking beer at 9:30 am so there's that! Then again I mostly just order the drip coffee.
This is the first place I've been introduced to coffee served with lemonade like a Arnold Palmer style ice tea, which I find delightful. Turkey sandwich is probably the most hearty item I have had on the menu. The avocado toast with an egg is also good. Other than that the other food is not the largest portions I've ever had but it's also pretty good.
I found the barista's here generally to be pretty nice and some of them even like cool enough that you want to hang out with them outside work. Just never ever ever ever ever never ever, draw them. Trust me just don't. They no likey the drawing-ee. Your life and credit score will just be better. Trust. Me.
There are a couple things I find baffling about this place: the reviews, the name, and people calling it hipster.
First, people that are crazy critical of how people serve coffee need to reassess life's priorities. Boujee. This place serves coffee and a little food. WTH do you want?
Second, the name. Just gonna go out on a limb and say it might be attracting these Boujee types. I mean who came up with this name? It's kinda funny. Lets name a chill coffee shop with beer after some of the most judgmental people in history ha ha sure they burned women on their period as witches, thought masturbation caused blindness, and got kicked out of Europe for being annoyingly pious (even for reformation standards), but hey have a brew! [back slap ye ol friend] It's kinda like saying you'll be judged when you get here, but at least there's beer and caffeine! Lol
Sure the Puritans came to America looking for something better, but let's contextualize what that meant. They came looking for a chance to set up crazy utopian societies for fellow judgmental a-holes that still affect America till this day. They wanted freedom for themselves, not people who felt differently to them. I digress.
This sounds negative. I like the place just find the name odd.
This is not a hipster place. I just moved to Northwest Arkansas and spent my career working in places like New York and LA. I mean I'm sure you'll find a hipster inside complaining about how their barista isn't God almighty, but a nice logo and wall painting does not a hipster make. Your more likely to see people in here wearing Chocos than horned rimmed black frames and people playing polo on fixed gear bikes in the parking lot. Coffee shops have an aesthetic in 2019 people. I'm sure hipsters have already given up on this aesthetic because someone other than themselves likes it.

There's more! The toilets!
By far the scariest ride in the park. Not to mention the copyright disclaimers (legally questionable), the toilets are a little on the dereleeek side of things. Also, the hand dryer's are mounted to the wall at a height that blows the water off your hands into your face.
The toilets really should probably be tuned up a bit. This is a nice place, the bathrooms don't match the niceness level of the rest of the joint. I've overheard a crusty old man complain that he didn't think his wife would sit on that. I guess she wouldn't. I don't know her.
I have met the owners though, they're very nice people, and I'm sure they're working on it, but perhaps we could work on it a smidge faster? if I could say that gently as someone who has no clue what it's like to start a coffee shop or what their overhead is. I'm sure the employees will enjoy a more pimped out throne though. Literally only reason I can't go 5 stars.
Recommendation: just come here and enjoy. No bitching. Or just invest in a nesspresso. I mean it works for George Clooney and Danny DaVito.
