"A perfect happy hour spot, Public House’s hip, funky rock-and-roll interior (complete with neon signs, fake animal heads, and chandeliers made from recycled Paiste cymbals) make it look far more raucous than it really is. And sure, the patrons will occasionally sing along with a rousing chorus of “More Than a Feeling” from over the loud speaker or Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” but the extensive beer list and the quirky Icelandic-Japanese fusion menu are anything but divey."

Had the tasting menu midweek with the 2f1 offer The food is very good and with the offer it's excellent value for Reykjavik. The dishes were well crafted with sublime flavours. The pickled beetroot on Gyoza was a splendid surprise, the tuna tacos were delicious and the dishes were all round very enjoyable.

Bottomless Brunch was a great experience! The food was delicious, cooked in the moment and really flavours. The drinks were also really good. Great value for the experience and quantity. Service was very attentive, and they tried to anticipate the costumer need, which is something really hard to find, especially in Iceland. Would definitely recommend it, and I'm coming back for sure.

We did the 8 course tasting menu - they were easily able to adjust to my gluten allergy - and everything was amazing! Cocktails were some of the best we had on our trip too. Service was 10/10 and music was so fun!

Very disappointing chicken and Waffles. Presented well but it's just 4 chicken Nuggets on top of a bland waffle. As you see in the video just putting your fork into the waffle made it fall apart. The 4 chicken Nuggets are a bite or two at most and for being one of the priciest items on the menu I definitely expected more. Also they smotherrrr it in the sauce which doesnt go well with the waffke. Would have been better with a spicy honey or syrup. And I love avocado but didn't make sense on this

Only tried a couple appetizers sitting at the bar, but what we did try was amazing. I had the duck baos, and my girlfriend had the goats on a horseback (bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese). Along with trying a local beer, everything tasted great! In addition to the food and drink, our server was very friendly and helpful. He even recognized us and said hi later in the evening as we passed by him walking down the street.

What a great pub! Tiny place with huge flavorful food. Not your typical pub food, but a fusion of pub food with Asian influence. The octopus was super good as well as everything else. The entire menu is all shareable plates and they have tasting menus. Great drinks and cocktails and wonderful service.

Public house was recommended by another pub for its food. And it was great. The vibe was great, the service was quick and charming with great recommendations. The food came and it not only looked great but the food tasted like the vibe. Perfect fit and high quality. 11/10
